And you think you'll get her. During a damn party. On her territory. Yeah, Imma have to side with Aries on this one, rookie mistakes all around, straight up arrogance. Exactly!! Before they were vampires they were witches, regardless of danger class, and they think hundreds of years will go by without the girls growing in power?? Not to mention the fact that they did no further research into her faith, she's a witch, how did they forget that?! To make everything even worse, they've been infiltrated at some point and for who knows how long. Ares wasn't kidding about them being allowed to exist because they let them, this organization sounds so budget cut.

They were goners the second they crashed a party thrown by a Maenad, and then they didn't even run when she picked up an instrument. Yeah, officer, it was suicide. When it mentioned her scraping the strings, I at once pictured her playing Pink Floyd's Run Like Hell.

I’m also going to suggest it was arrogant to assume that 12 assumingly gorgeous vampire witches they haven’t been able to touch for 400 years hadn’t groomed a man to spy from the inside of their organization!! Knowing this was their ‘only’ chance would seem questionable as to why one was letting her guard down. They should’ve assumed it was a trap to begin with and had alternative plans in play that the first team wasn’t aware of. This would’ve given them a second chance to detonate the stage or even secure an exit route if the first plan went to heck.

Edit: That Attribution Spell basically spit on all metaphysical principles when it allowed Eris to do violence while protected.

Another thing I found odd or strange was that all these supposedly consummate professionals were summoned and not a single one asked the most obvious two questions: 1) Why now, after all these years of hiding would one of theses sisters come out into open in such a public fashion? 2) Where/Who supplied you with this intelligence? Another thing I found odd was that these guys broke a cardinal rule of warfare by choosing to do battle on their enemy's turf, in an area they couldn't control if things went sideways. Thirdly, these professionals went in with no back-up, no perimeter security, no over-watch, no quick reaction force, to pull their asses out of the fire.... nothing. Given how old this vampire hunting organization is, one would think they have enough money to provide back-up for their best operatives. Hubris and complacency is what got them killed.

@@cathrinewhite7629Dark Somnium and Lighthouse are the two best narrators out there. They both make what feel like the old radio shows. Ronnie does all his own sound design and does collabs with other narrators to voice different characters, where Stephan does an incredible job at voice acting each character himself. I used to listen to a couple other channels but I got hooked on these two completely.

I don't know what stories you're reading! In all of Lighthouse's hunter stories I've seen, the hunters get some early wins then go through absolute hell at the end and don't win, or barely finish the job in the end.

There's something about your Irish and Scottish accents that I enjoy, and i enjoy those type of accents in general. I'm no expert, critic or whatever the word for it is but you preform them well enough in my book

The Witch Vampire playing the guitar controlling the zombie like crowd reminded me of the boss from the game "Guilty Gear" I-No, because that's exactly what she did.
