I’m socially awkward as well babe. It gives me anxiety sometimes talking to people and how awkward I get. I love being alone. I get annoyed easily 😂

I use to be socially awkward also but it also just depends on the people you’re with! Sometimes you’re around people who can definitely keep a conversation going, sometimes you’re the one that keeps the conversation going because there’s a good vibe and it flows naturally, and sometimes you know when it’s one of those weird ones where you keep it short and simple. There’s people you hang out with and have comfortable silence with, like y’all just chilling and not even saying nothing and just hanging out. I think it just gets better with time💕 You learn who you associate in the correct manner. It’s just instinct.

I literally turn red just for talking bc I'm so awkward 😭😭 this is why I stay home and ignore everyone lmao

UGHHH SAME !!! when I walk into stores alone I immediately feel like I’m going to break down and freak out cause I feel everyone is staring at me or thinks bad lol and being around a lot of people makes me feel so sick !!!! And shaky

I feel you girl 😢that dissociated feeling sucks and anxiety 😟 together ugh! What helps me is reading a book, taking a walk or some kind of exercise, drink some water or electrolytes. I have to retrain my thinking because that affects me too.

Omgg I feel you on not knowing what to talk about!! I freeze up sometimes, my mind goes blank and I have no idea what to say. Then I just start panicking even more and thats all I start thinking about.

I feel like I’m socially awkward too but I’m definitely trying to change and have become more social and less shy because I’ve noticed my son is like me too so making a change for him so he can be more social as well. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to be alone either sometimes I want my space or know my limits if it will make me too anxious.

girl me! i en ever used to be this way tho. but im also insecure at the moment. i used to be social and make lots of convo talked to everyone. now i feel people think i’m rude for how i am but mentally i’m not ok and don’t know how to control my anxiety or be awkward

Ahhhh ! Alondra this gets to me because I myself feel socially awkward sometimes !! I struggled a lot talking to people like really bad ! I used to try my best to get out of going and make up excuses but i was also getting tired of being ‘scare ‘ to talk to people. Last December for my New Year’s resolution ,I told myself I was going to put myself out there And I have. I went back to school , I got a better job , I went to the gym all year not everyday but mostly every other day , I went to every party /event , every trip/road trip ,I was invited and I am living !!!! I now know I can overcome my fears and that makes me feel so confident . I still struggle to keep conversation going but I am working on it because it feels good getting to know different people . This is why I love you Alondra you stay being yourself! I am exactly the same but I have learned its ok I just don't vibe with alot of people. The only one who I can truly be myself with is my boyfriend of 8 years (aka my best friend). It's funny at parties we are quiet unless people want to be social with us 😂 I feel like we have a different sense of humor and don't want to share it with just anyone kinda like you and Elsy. Girl I’m the same, my parents were so strict. I never had friends over or rarely went out. They also never let me be a kid I had to sit and stay quiet all the time.
