It feels weird having a Spell that can search any other Normal Spell or Trap, but with how oppressive the game has become, having the ability to search Dark Ruler No More is nice.
Your missing the point… a little bit but why stop there. Opponent shatters entire board with nib. Activate search Teraforming, search mystic mine. Opponent plays tears and hand traps you, activate search that different dimension battle ground, you stop every play. you playing flunder and your Eglen gets hit, oh no search feather storm or trap extender. Heck if you have a big enough monster search eradictor. This card is a mistake, with the amount of lingering effects in this game or fusion spells, this card will warp the game. Basically a three of, possibly run along side called by cuz this can low key be an auto win button.

@@nichidoushiro which is hilarious when your oppent as a board full of negates, 2 handtraps and you bricked a little like what is a person to do? People can say mine is degenerate but let's be honest hearld of No is just as bad among other cards where it's super easy to make a ton of negates. That's why more and more card are becoming un-negatable just for that reason alone

@@benmazzara6216 I imagine Albaz Final Form will be similar to Anime Zarc and have all Good Side Archetypes Signature effect like Tri-Brigade banish card from graveyard, Springans attach card from graveyard as Xyz Material, Swordsoul token summon, Icejade attack from defense Position, Therions equip monster from graveyard to gain effect and Spright tribute monster to negate card effect.

I assumed it was one of the ruler monsters from rush duel since one of them had the triple tactics talent fan in the opening Edit: nvm it just looks very similar to it
@@lennartstockl5826 But if its added to the hand it doesn't follow that rule. Terraforming is a normal spell and most negates, like Infinite are normal traps.
@@lennartstockl5826 You know, that might be why I put the "basically" there, as there are so many good normal traps that negate. And... why I put "negate/trap" instead of just "negate" but sure. Infinite Impermenance DOES negate and almost every single deck runs that. Void Trap Hole negates and destroys. Chain Hole can too for a weird tech. Springans Blast! also negates. Warning Point interrupts and negates. World Suppression can negate Mystic Mine in side. Ice Barrier can also negate attacks/effects and is useful for water decks. There are so many more examples. Most of them are archetype specific, but you are wholely wrong but saying that they're "DEFINITELY NOT" since there are some accessable negates that can work really well. Like Marincess Wave, now way easier to access and doesn't even have to be set.

The problem is: Ash Blossom still stops it. Silent Wobby isn't as good as people probably think outside of Mine strategies, but its not worse by that much. That being said, this card existing basically opens the door for people to more reliably play the game again on their turn. The only problem is that this is going to be the next big $100 chase card. It literally power creeps Pot of Prosperity as far as usability goes. The only reason you'll want to play Prosperity at this point is if your deck bricks a lot.
@@dragonmaster951753 Yeah, with this card, now the opponent is forced to make a choice between Ashing a combo starter in risk of a board breaker, or ashing the board breaker/lingering trap/some more jank S/T searcher and risk getting combo'ed. This card can make some nasty mindgame.
No it's not. This is absolutely trash design. A card that can search any other normal spell/trap without cost or restriction is ridiculous. Instead of fixing the game, they are slapping band-aids on it by introducing even more degenerate power creep. Left Arm Offering only searches a spell, requires banishing 2+ cards from the hand, and prevents setting Spell/Traps that turn. That was once considered somewhat balanced for a generic spell search.

@@jallymally2915 welp Mine is a problem on the TCG, searching Dimensional barrier is a pretty good tool now that Tear is the new overlord of the meta and if this cards sees play maybe the deck variety will increase. TCG is a clown Format compared to MD and OCG now
There are only two cards + even if there was an archetype around it you could just choose to not activate monster effects in the main phase and sit on towers.
it's still "just draw the out, bro" for facing multiple negate boards since it's not like this has a non-response clause (unlike some of the targets, like dark Ruler No More), one thing I can see this doing is going second decks running it to add some random 1-of board breakers so they can tutor for raigeki or duster if their lightning storm gets negated also, an evil man can use this to search the limited Terraforming to get Mine
The worst case scenario is that you force your opponent to use up one of their negates. It’s still essentially 6 copies of your board breakers which means that you have just shy of a 25% chance to draw the out either turn 1 or as your turn 2 draw.
You should add the Roman reigns acknowledge me clip in your vids when u mention acknowledge, or a situation when u wanna give your self a Pat in the back, that be funny 😂
We can bring back Maxx C when this drops in the TCG. Niqqas can tech in and search out Trickstar Reincarnation or Heavy Slump after they make their opponent draw 100 cards and punish them on their opening turn.
This is incredibly fucked. Can search ANY S/T meaning, Evenly matched and Mystic mine are gonna be seen in main within more decks, OR any extenders for the archetype to set up for next turn ( provided it's even worth it ). And the backrow removal are gonna be once again staple. I'm thinking 3 to 1/2 which would clear up more space for returning board break combos. . . But, I could be off the mark and it'd be more akin to crossout. we'll just have to see.
An actually decent card that can help you get out of a nasty monster effect. You can bait the ash first to use the search, or suppliment a different out by baiting with this.
This more like master duel card rather TCG and OCG card, as the effect applicable in BO1 format. Since MD have No side deck, card like this can help a lot.
it only stops set s/t, if the alternative condition (your opponent controlling a monster) is met you can add it to your hand and play it like normal. Basically if you go 1st you set a trap, if you go 2nd you can bait out a monster effect then activate this to add any normal spell to your hand (dark ruler usually)
At least this puts a damper on Ash when it finally comes to the TCG, unless they're playing something like... I dunno, pure Psy-Frames. Or, heaven forbid, Mystic Mine.
I'm a little confused on the wording. Is it saying that the card you search can't be activated whether you set OR add it to your hand, or just the card can't be activated when you set it?
Think of it as 2 effs 1) set card(can't used this turn) 2)just add to hand(so u can use) If u get hand trap 1st turn & it not summon card (psi frames) u get a trap for enemy turn(most likely a flood gate)
right now no one players hand traps but when we get back to a handtrap format this looks to me like a staple 1 off. how likely is it that your deck can search a normal spell that extends your combo by the same amount that hand trapped card would have done and going second it's baiting a negate at least
This thing searches traps as well. This is your daily reminder that Different Dimension Ground is a D Shifter for 1 turn. And D Barrier is still a card.
@@ASAINATL It's both. This card can set ANYTHING so long as it's a normal spell or trap. This means you can set lingering traps like D Barrier or Different Dimension Grounds. Effectively, you are constantly putting your opponent under threat of "if you handtrap me, I'm gonna put you under D Shifter on your turn."
