Well I finally made it back up to the Peak District to meet up with Steve. After 5 hours on the road we eased in with a small loop from where we're based in Castleton up to the infamous Cavedale!

Yeah, you don't so much pick a line down there as hang on and make it down to the gate! Jacob's Ladder is best early morning before too many walkers ruin it but is a great descent.

Yeah it was one of the hardest descents I’ve done. Just trying to get going on wet limestone is almost impossible!
