Hello guys and gals, it's me Mutahar again! This time let's sit down and talk about e-mails that lots of people fall for but really shouldn't! Thanks for watching! Like, Comment and Subscribe for more videos!
"You can google what rats are!" noun 1. a rodent that resembles a large mouse, typically having a pointed snout and a long tail. Some kinds have become cosmopolitan and are sometimes responsible for transmitting diseases.
This happened to me. They said that I downloaded a trojan from an adult website. Little did they know, I have never gone to adult websites much less on my school computer with my school email.
Your school must suck. School's monitor the students email and delete any spam, either your lying about that being in your email or your school system sucks.
I got an android scam that said "Your phone has been infected for going on adult websites and going on the dark web. Download Android Cleaner to remove malware" I haven't been on an adult site in like 3 months and I've never gone on the dark web
Thank you Muda! This video saved my friend from panicking and falling to such a scam as they got a similar email and I thought of this video when I read through what they got.
Lmao that’s what I was thinking but evidently shit worked for him. It’s just not fair how many stupid people there are in the world that would give up money that easy for some scumbag
I got one of these recently, claiming I had contracted a keylogger from an adult video, and through that keylogger a recording was made on my webcam (I don't have one) and a screen recording was also made. It also claimed to have all my Facebook and messenger contacts, which is funny since I don't have any of those. Obviously, none of it made any sense but what's even better is that this guy had, according to some Bitcoin abuse reports, been doing this scam since July, and he hadn't actually made any money doing it. No Bitcoin had passed through his wallet at that time. I did change my some of my passwords around, but other than that I just laughed at it.
I got an email like this once. They said “we recorded you through your webcam” I replied with “wow it must’ve been real tough to get access to a webcam that I don’t own.”
I got one of these, but when the person went "I saw you watching PRAWN" they added "(you have good taste omg)" which is SO FUNNY it legitimately threw out whatever unease I had in the pit of my stomach
We kept getting calls like that, fucking daily, so my husband started answering the phone saying, “thank you for calling ‘Little Swimmers Sperm Bank’, you shake it, we bank it, would you like to schedule your shake and bank today?” Dead serious, and he does it so smoothly that the responses are hilarious. The confusion and then the fact that they believe this enough to apologize to us for the wrong number. Lmao Shits epic. I can’t do it right, but it’s funny as hell if you can. Idk if he made it up or heard it, he just says shit like that naturally on a whim, but Idk if it was from something.
My friend called me worried about this, and two days after reassuring him it was a hoax, I got the same email. He was only worried about having been hacked as he didn’t even have a webcam. Crazy how widespread some of these are. And I agree it needs to be spread. The thing that freaked my friend out was that it was an actual password he had used a long time ago for an online game. As you said, the passwords are real and it really hammers home to use smart and safe password practices.
I got one of these the other day. The message said it also recorded what I was watching and it told me in parenthesis, and I quote, “you have nice taste omg”.
The best thing to do with this is convince them they're in total control. Then catastrophicly lose their money (like "sending" to the wrong btc wallet).
My uncle got this and pulled the most alpha thing ever. "Do you want more pictures?" They never replied back :D Edit: So I heard the story again and its actually worse. He said "if you dont send me money I'll send you more photos" which is a complete reverse Uno.
Vueren Kuraenir I’m barely an adult and this is all new to me, a few years ago when I was a kid I had a school email address but not a personal email address. I mean what do you possibly get emailed about as a kid? Your upcoming bills and shit that’s 20% off.
yeah similar thing happened to me, but i found out it was some random kid because he was using his moms Instagram account so i emailed the email in the bio and i explained their child was trying to blackmail me and they said they would sort him out... victory is sweet
A couple of days ago, I did some exams on a unit for cyber security, and on the first part 2nd paper, we get asked to make a forensics report on an attack (it's the same question every time just a different situation), and this year the 'attack' was basically word for word this email (except they did a safe for work alternative to masterbating.)
I'm right there with ya buddy. My main monitor is a TV at the foot of my bed, and I clone it to a 2nd TV setup at viewing angle from a couch for my guests, and then a old 1600x900 monitor wall-mounted on the other side of the room that I extend the desktop to. Sitting/laying in bed to use your computer is under-rated
"After receiving the payment I will delete all your data and you can LIFE your LIVE in peace like before." PLEASE tell me I'm not the only one who saw that. XD
a trick I use for remembering different passwords is having some sort of bracket eg. ()[]{} around the whole password or around a specific part of the password, have a set of numbers and characters you remember, use a separating marker eg. /\|~_- and then have the name of the website or account with capitals on the beginnings. hope this helps someone since I understand it is hard to remember completely different passwords and this is pretty secure compared to having the same password.
