I love the Flint. I also love how in this edit you jump from “have to have the flint” to “not gonna use the flint”! Can’t wait to hear the board in use.
Yes, PLEASE. As excited as I am to watch your pedalboard build, even more excited to hear your album release!! For context, as a 61 year old guitar player who’s musical influences are vast and have seen many many of the greats live, if I could wave a wand and have bestowed on me the chops of one guitarist, you would be a top contender. Always a privilege to watch you share your craft. Just sayin, but the Deco does a very nice chorus. And saw Oz Noy in a really small Jazz club in Northern Westchester County, NY couple of years ago and was great show. Cheers and good luck!!
Hi RJ! You know who else is really good with pedals? Michael Landau. I've seen a bunch of live clips of him as an artist and as a side man. I couldn't believe how well he used a LOT of pedals, and used them all REALLY well!!!
Rarely do people show the selection shootout when building a board. So that's a nice change of pace. Also on the "How do I focus on a style?" ...don't. It's your album, it's your playing, it's you; why choose? Bear it all.
Thanks for sharing! I’m doing something similar but I chose to use and RJM Mastermind switcher. It’s a lot to get my head around but the flexibility is worth the effort. Love your playing and videos!
Looking forward to the next episode of this board build. This has me questioning my board(s). I have a general rock/blues board, a Hendrix board, and a grunge board. I'm wondering if I should just make one giant board for simplicity.
I have a fairly large board, not as big as this one and sometimes I ask myself, how much is really necessary and is it just distracting from playing guitar ? Idk the answer.
