These are the voyages! Further development and update on my scratch-built model of the original USS Enterprise! The model is the entire interior of the ship, from the bridge all the way down to deck 24 in the secondary hull.

I love the exterior of the refit, even though it isn't the original ship, but the interior I just can't be with that...sorry ;-) !

@@mrtrek2117 The _Star Trek V: The Final Frontier_ interior (especially reusing TNG sets - and let's pretend they really are 1701-A interiors) is the oddball of the refits, do you feel the same about it?

One of the things that always bugged me about the TNG Enterprise was its size. We all knew it was enormous, but the show never really took advantage of that. We only ever saw a few corridors, the bridge and maybe the shuttle bay. But It felt like a wasted opportunity for them to have done some really cool interior things with the show. That's what I love about this project you're doing, it shows the scale of this ship and we have a much greater appreciation for.

It's really taking shape. Just incredible. Are you planning on building in any systems infrastructure such as eps, fluids, air-conditioning? Or will we just assume it's channelled through the structural sections?

I have to ask, does the sheer scope of your project ever become overwhelming to you? It just strikes me as, daunting I guess, looking at all you've created, but imagining what yet must be done, and then all your work in the intermediary stages, how do you maintain your energy and enthusiasm? Remarkable

Thanks for the question, it is indeed an insane undertaking to build the entire USS Enterprise but it's my full time work and I love every minute of it. Now, as more support comes in I am just fired up and embrace the community, support and the epic, crazy and fun challenge ahead!

Lot's of grey, yes... But a wonderful surface for the multi coloured lighting options to suit the whim of the viewer. Why paint when you can light?

But we never saw any lighting on those sets other than grey, and the uniforms were all grey too, and the view out of the windows was black. I'd be swilling down my anti-depressants with a large whisky for sure.
