I have a track day coming up and my old tracksuit is TRASHED so it's time to get a new one. Revzilla sent out two types of their Sedici tracksuits to see which one is going to be the best for me. Today I'm checking out the Sedici Corsa suit and the Sedici Chicane.

Getting in a suit hack: Squat down so the base of the zipper is at your bellybutton before putting your arms in. Slip your arms in then stand up and zip.

"I feel faster in this suit." This is actually true. Obviously, the suit doesn't make you faster, but I have noticed that suits with more perforation and breathability give you the feeling of being faster. Finding a good suit is fairly easy; finding the perfect suit for you specifically takes some time and experience.

Oc; been doing courses will do my first trackday after the summer. PS: the base layer is clutch!!! During winter those can also be thermal and you'll stay toasty. AND!!! When pulling your suit up, put both arms in behind your back and squat so the suit will come up to your shoulders almost by itself =D

These suits are a great value for the money, the Corsa is also able to be worn with an airbag like the Tech Air 5 due to the stretch panels. For the Supermoto folks out there the Corsa jacket with the Niccolo pants makes a great 2 pc suit.

I recently got a 2014 fz09 as my first bike, and my brother in law got a 2015 fj09. He’s ridden before but we’ve both been going slow at first, getting comfortable with the bikes. But man, those bikes really make you want to do hooligan things 😂 we’ve talked about going to a track to just let that speed demon out of us and at a local cycle gear shop they have one of those suits! I would love to get that race suit and have a blast on the track. Hopefully I’ll make that happen soon! 😃

@@Colin_Shedaker it’s going! I’ve had my bike for almost two years now and I love it! I’ve been riding on and off though because of life and what not. I did end up getting the suit and when I put that on AND get on my fz09, I really, really want to be a hooligan 🤣 that being said I have crashed twice lmao but not because I was doing anything crazy, I just wasn’t focused and low sided in a parking lot leaving work, and another time in the mountains because of the road conditions. I’m all good and the bike still runs without any issues, so I’m happy about that! I highly recommend the corsa tracksuit which is the one I bought. It feels really nice and for the price I think it’s a great one to start with!

Just purchased this off cycle gear on sale (485 USD W/ military discount) so I got it for a steal, I purchased after my first track day last weekend and it came today, 10/10 recommended the suit feels amazing and fit great ( make sure to actually measuring with the sizing chart before ordering) I will be riding with it later and will edit it I have anything to add, if no edit suit is amazing for price

I got a Berik suit from Germany... via Hong Kong via Pakistan... it feels great, looks great and only cost $400... my wife will let you know if it isn't crash-worthy!

My suit is GSZR/Clarion Dunlop, NGK, Bonnington patch, Yoshimura, some Japanese characters I don’t know, and of course, five Suzuki insignias. Sometimes I sleep in my tracksuit. It’s more comfortable to wear, then put on and off. I have to do some weird, squatting action with shoulder rolling, -to put it on

OC: I usually go for track days as much as I can. Have been using tracksuits from Alpinestar since I started. And with the price of them you better do more than a few track days. But their comfortable, easy to walk in and feel amazing when I'm on the bike.

You're lucky you can get standard ones to fit! I had to have a custom one made due to my....ehh....form made for durability shall we say(crash tested durability). OC: Yes, I have fallen in love with them and crashed already and everything :D

OC: Don't do track days ... yet. I have Sedici ADV gear for my Fall-Spring riding. I like it even though it's "C-19 snug" at the moment My first track day, I'll probably rent gear from the track, once the hook is set though, game on.

Odd that no comments mention the RST STG Evo 4 suit ($500 in five colorways) . The Sedici Corsa suit I tried on locally is pretty nice but it's heavy, no back protector or pocket for one, has a huge race hump, it's $100 more than the RST Evo (plus more when you buy a wearable back protector), and the Sedici name isn't exactly known for quality (their matching Corsa boots and gloves are sketchy). Reading the reviews online, people rave about RST's EVO suit line so if you're buying a track suit and not getting one free from Revzilla...

Not keen on the high leather in the neck, this can make it uncomfortable. I can see the soft neck edging but this could be bigger and the leather a 1” or so lower.

Oc - I want to! I'm grumpy they dont have a women's version of that suit. No Sedici at all. Pain in the ass. It does look good though, love the white.

the calf zipper isnt a vent, its a relief stress point for dudes with chunky calves......at least other brands market their suits that way that have those zippers

I've seen these suits and have tried them . There not horrible for the price but I would just save your money and get a alpinestar t missle suit. The sedici one is just way to heavy compared to alpinestar

A single piece suit does make you ‘feel’ faster because you are…. Baggie textiles catch wind, put pressure on you so you feel slower and it does slow you.

Im confuse with the secidi sizing, i am 6 foot tall. What is your height? In the Revzilla review the model is 5’11 and he is wearing size 52 ,he is wearing the corsa

They say to use a back protector with the chicane but there is no slot for one built in… even the older Palermo suit had this.. wtf

Good real-life review. The pain is the same for any brand (mine are brand A and brand D) and peeling them off a tired sweaty body can be deemed "cruel and unusual punishment"... I thought the boys at 'zilla explicitly say that you cannot take a suit on a ride if you plan on returning it?

Its funny how motorcycle gear in general goes from looking stupid as hell to awesome once you get on the bike. Cant tell you how many jackets i returned when I first started riding because I thought they fit too snug and looked dumb until you realize thats the way its supposed to be and they break in after a few rides.

@@whammerjammer1562 Yeah they're pretty much the same thing. Goal is to have a layer which gets the sweat off your body and dries quick so you don't get all stanky and wet. Before spending big money on motorcycle branded underliners, you could try out cheaper sports underliners

I tried on a 56 Chicane and it fit well. Slightly tight. You said that you went one size up on the Corsa? Online sizing chart is the same for both suits. Love the videos. Thanks!

Doesn't chicane with a hard "a" mean like a corner or apex in the U.K.? Always hear the Brits saying that and have never heard it here in the states.

Chicanes on a track are switch-backs, or corners in succession. e.g. Right turn to Left turn, and vice versa.

costs X3 the Sedici. If money isn't a thing then both A-stars and Dainese are better choice..

@@laz1go286 fine: heroic, vanson, anthem, spidi, all moderately priced. The cg stuff doesnt hold up under crashes, have seen people seriously injured in cg brand gear(bilt, sidici), so i will always advise people: dont go cheap when its supposed to be saving your life.

@@ChaseN194 I already expressed my opinion in the other comment. I doubt it makes such a big difference in a track setting unless you're racing. That is a whole another story. Did you see the Moto 3 accident in Mugello 11 days ago? Where the Swiss guy Jason lost his life. He was wearing the top of the top suits with double charge/release airbag system plus a compulsory chest protector. Two bikes hit him, both on the chest and the head. There was doctors and help on site immediately and they fought for his life but he still didn't make it. That is why I think for avarage Joe it really doesn't matter what you wear coz if you hit a hard object with speed on the street in a crash (car, tree, road sign etc) you stand no chance anyway. The slow lowside crashes where you don't have impact with anything that is where these cheap suits can/will protect you 100 times better than wearing a jeans and t-shirt. Leather suits are not designed for heavy impact but low impacts/slides can be absorbed by cheaper brands too. If they were potentially dangerous they would be banned and big companies like Revzilla would definitely not risk their reputation and their customers life by selling them crappy products.

@@laz1go286 Jason raced in 2 different suits, the techair suit made by Alpinestars and IXS which uses an unknown airbag system. IXS is more than likely providing the tech air insert for the IXS suit as IXS doesnt have the R&D to develop their own air suit. As for A-stars, i personally know the suit rapackers for both astars techair and dainese dair. The Dair suit is expensive but they have the lsast amount of false deploys. I cannot tell you how many times ive heard "dude why didnt my tech air go off?" Twch air fails all the time, followed by the off chance of techair compressing IN if not fitted properly, thus resulting in further injurt on crash. As for Jason that crash, no airbag or suit would have saved him. As for quatroraro the suit malfunction and zipper malfunction happens all the time on Alpinestars. If youve ever locked your front wheel at 130 on a trackday you realize how important the right quality gear is. A good quality suit is well worth it, and cheaping out only puts you at risk. Ive seen dainese cowhide shred like paper, faux leather sedici would be the equal to squidding imo.
