Well, here we are, or at least I am anyway. Launching a RU-vid channel. Writing a video description for the first time. And no, I did not use ChatGPT to write this. Trust me no AI software could come up with this level of nonsense.
It's currently 3 am where I am, and I have been having a passive argument with myself as to whether I should pull an all-nighter as I have an absolute ton of crap to do for this launch. Or whether to call it a night before the sun rises and makes that decision for me. Anyway, none of you care about that. So I will end the nonsensical waffle and get to business.
I will be quite surprised if anyone watches this video, let alone read the bloody description. Now don't take that as a lack of confidence or ambition. The video above is nothing special. But it is a required video for us to get things rolling. I don't plan on telling you anything about the video above, by the way.
Now I have been a watcher of the old RU-vid for many a single decade now, and it doesn't pain me to say, that I have read fewer video descriptions than I have posted videos on this channel.
So, let's use this space for something more interesting. How about I tell you a pointless story about Gizmo's past as a musician? Yes. Gizmo used to be a musician among many other things, such as a knight of the round table, and an astronaut. Sounds far fetched I am sure, but trust me it’s all true. But let's go back to the start of things, it's a bloody long story and may take an unknown quantity of video descriptions to fully tell it. But I have a feeling that the zoo's official launch will probably be the end of the story, whenever that is. Your guess is as good as mine. But here we go, Gizmo's life story. He's typing this by the way, I can't be bothered to write this in the third person.

GIZMO's Journey
Chapter 1, A speck of life
It was dark, it was wet, and it had an odd smell. But it was comfortable. I felt oddly safe and protected. An idea was passing through my mind. Or shall we call it an uncertainty. It didn’t feel like there was much else to this place. It felt like there was, nothing else. Like this smelling, wet, dark abyss was it. And I am all that exists. To be completely honest I was fine with that reality. I mean it's not a terrible existence, right? The world revolving around me, lonely sure, but it was helping my ego and people are annoying, so no real loss there. Then the smell got irritating. so, I decided to investigate. So I pushed myself up. At least I think it was up. I'm in a circular pool of smelly jelly, so who really knows what's up and down. Following this burst of movement, my face made contact with a hard object. Which bloody hurt, may I add. So, I backed up and swam it off. I looked back up at where my face had been abused and noticed a shining speck. I'm not a crow but, I was very interested in that little speck. I decided to call the speck BOB. I yelled up to BOB. But the little sod ignored me. So, despite my abused face, I gathered the courage to swim up to BOB. As I got closer, I realized that BOB wasn't ignoring me at all. BOB wasn't even a being. He was like a wormhole to another dimension. A much brighter one at that. There was movement and shadows. I could feel and see them. I placed my claw, or whatever this pointing sharp thing is, in the hole. and started to pull down. The whole got bigger, and the light got brighter. I poked my head through BOB's shiny opening, to a whole new world. This one smelt bad too. I looked around and could see a few weird-looking creatures. Ugly buggers, with some stupid fan-looking necklaces around their heads. I looked up and realized that this was the start of a new life, the start of something scary and exciting. So, I tucked my head back through BOB's shiny hole and returned to my dingy smelly safe place. I will start that next part of my life in the next description, if I can be bothered.
