The interesting thing about Kansas City is their wins get minimized a lot, but when someone plays Kansas City close it's counted as a win and not a loss.
Ravens are scarier if you have to play them right now. Chiefs are scarier if you have to play them in the playoffs. The main difference being Harbaugh/Orr are terrible coaches when it actually comes to gameplanning and Reid/Spags are all time greats.

Lamar is playing his heart out, and Henry is running like his life is on the line, and the Ravens are 5-2 and are winning tight games. Patrick Mahomes is playing like absolute garbage and the entire team is injured, and the Chiefs are undefeated.

That's not true, this year is different the Chiefs won 2 games they shouldn't have because of bad calls. Their record isn't a true reflection on how they have played.
@@silicon77 Ravens and Falcons, the Ravens were over penalized by far, they got 7 offensive alignment penalties and the pass interference call they got in the end zone that set up their game winning touchdown. They haven't called that alignment penalties call since . The Falcons game had a clear as day pass interference call in the endzone to win the game and it was not called and the Chiefs won because of that.... The narrative that the Chiefs are being helped by the NFL didn't come out of thin air. They seem to always benefit from terrible calls that decided the game.

The question should be if who's going to be the scarier team when they meet again. The Chief's receivers and backs weren't on the same page and had they been in the first matchup, the Chiefs would've smoked the Ravens. Also, the Chiefs are very good at stopping Derrick Henry, so that means it's going to come down to Pat's arm verses Lamar's arm. I'll take Pat every day in that scenerio.

The ravens aren’t scary. Their defense is giving up tds like it’s a fire sale. Especially late in games. Are they going to score 30-40 a game? Because if not, they are not scary
So… Cam had a point: the question was “which team is scarier RIGHT NOW?”, so him arguing on behalf of the Ravens isn’t exactly far-fetched. And it can be argued Stephen A and Elle were moving the goalposts quite a bit. That said, we’ve seen this movie before: Ravens do the thing in the regular season, and then fold quicker than folding chairs (specifically Lamar), come January. Baltimore has shown too many times that they can’t show up when it matters most. The Ravens are the scarier team right now, but the scarier team in January is usually Kansas City, and until they can show otherwise, it will more than likely be Kansas City.

I’d definitely say the Chiefs are scarier for the simple fact that Mahomes isn’t playing well they lost 3 offensive weapons and they’ve beaten good team in spite of all of that. If you were to take Henry, flowers and the other good receiver away from Lamar, the ravens wouldn’t be winning games. Mahomes is winning games with his defense and a weakened offense, which Lamar can’t do. The ravens lost to the raiders. The ravens can’t even beat the Chiefs having the best team in the NFL last season and the Chiefs having one of the worst. The Chiefs will get better and when they do, it’s over for the rest of the league.
I agree with you but I think Lamar can win without Henry, Flowers, & Bateman. As long as he still has an Andrews or Likely & a decent running back the Ravens would win games as he’s done that in the past before. They wouldn’t look like they do now though. Ravens Defense used to be really good, it’s funny because as this year it feels like the Chiefs & Ravens have kind of swapped places with how they used to be in like 2019 lol.
To be honest, I can't say either team is scarier, they're scary for different reasons. I'd rather play Baltimore's defense than KC defense for sure, but I'd rather play KC's offense than Baltimore's Offense. The problem of this conversation is that they entirely focused on the offensive side of the spectrum, while failing to address the powerhouse defense of KC that kept Baltimore to their lowest scoring game of the season.
Baltimore had their shot to beat KC at home last playoffs and failed. They already lost to them this season. I don't see anything changing unless Lamar plays out of his mind, which, even then, probably wouldn't be enough.

However, when you consider the stated goals of both teams, a Super Bowl appearance for the Ravens and a Super Bowl victory for the Chiefs, there is no team in the NFL scarier than the Chiefs. They beat the Ravens TWICE in the last 10 months. The Chiefs have the advantage in defense, special teams, head coaching, and quarterback play when it matters most. This is chess not checkers. Championships not regular season stats. Nobody in their right mind, let alone on that panel, would pick the Ravens over the Chiefs in another AFC Championship game. Good debate though. They are the only undefeated team in the league against one of the toughest schedules THAT INCLUDES THE RAVENS. They have the best defense in the league. The Ravens have had the more productive offense, but the Chiefs have been the better team.
It all depends how the game is officiated. If we gone keep calling holding and illegal formation for one team and ignore for the other one or call PI when one team is about to lose then it’s impossible to beat the chiefs.
The Ravens do this every October though. If Mahomes comes alive, and the defense just remains the same, they'll go undefeated. If Mahomes doesn't get any better, they're still undefeated.
