On Monday, December 6, I will be having a life-changing weight loss surgery. The surgery I will be having is called the SADI-S (Single Anastomosis Duodenal-Illeal with Sleeve, or the modern Duodenal Switch with a loop. I wanted to make a video to share with friends, family and socials announcing the surgery, as well as for anyone considering having WLS to be able to learn by video what the surgery is like, how I came to my decision, my recovery, my new eating habits, and how my life will ultimately change because of it. I welcome all messages and comments, because unlike you, I could not find many Switch videos online from people who have experienced this surgery.
