Bali! Great choice. I have no doubt everyone will have an AMAZING time there! A bit bummed its in November (although probably the perfect time of year to go). Unfortunately working in the school system I was hoping for this summer…..Close to your parents age anyways and sounds like being in my 30’s I was too OLD! Lol…Hope you have an amazing time in Australia. I assume you are doing working holiday visa there? I would probably be there right now myself but once again- TOO OLD age cut off for that one was a year ago for me (35)

Australia is a lot of fun full of adventure. I recommend visiting Tasmania. Be sure to pack cold/ warm as it is winter, Get to see my mom Sunday and my grandpa ( haven’t seen grandpa in years) it’ll be emotional but awesome then seeing my mom is just wonderful and emotional but, I can say always leaving then coming back is easy it’s just saying hello again as they say

And I still often cry when the oldest comes over and has to go back home, and when the youngest comes back from college, then has to head back. I lived my life for my kids. As a dad with a son about your age, the question of “why are you leaving?” never crossed my mind. You’re leaving because of a very natural impulse combined with the ability and confidence. I am also pretty sure your parents are there as a safety net (which is VERY cool in my eyes). My kids can always count on me just as I could count on my own parents.

I can be your aussie dad 😂😂 Whatever happens, I hope you have a great time Check out Little Bay. It's a beautiful spot for a swim. Newtown is a really cool place for hanging out and eating. It's really cheap. My daughter and I had Thai food tonight for $55 AUD, $36 USD total cost. Compared to eating out in average restaurants in Italy, that can cost around $60 USD just for 1 person, sigh.
