When I started high school at age of 14 I used to get so much attention by girls. I was even approached by girls 2-3 years older than me. During this time I had the worst look I had in my life ( I was 50kg anorexic) and I was bullied by other boys. At age of 15 I decided to started boxing and body weight exercises. I lost interest in girls and they too. They started ignore and reject me, but I didn`t even care because the only thing I cared for was workout and I actually made huge progress. My lack of experiences with girls made me 20 years old who have never had a gf. Sometimes I regret my decision, but I know that I actually did the right thing. I learned to be disciplined and strong at age of 15 rather than someone who kissing girls on bench on parks. This period of my life prepared me for life.

I'm a 16-year-old girl, and I've never been in a relationship. I always felt out of place in my friend groups because I never included myself in group photos, my friends have just kinda learned to not take pictures around me. I never understood how most girls had the confidence to post pictures of themselves on social media. As a girl who graduated this year and has never dated, I dont really see high school relationships as harmful. I get he's saying not all are. I see it as you're allowed to have crushes and relationships but don't make it so attention from a potential romantic partner your main/only source of happiness. It makes you look desperate and can damage your confidence. Build your garden, so even if the relationship doesn't work out, you still have a garden (even if its just starting out). Even better, you've been building your garden, and now its time to open it up to new people. This doesnt need to be romantic. Buiding confidence comes from bulding yourself, physically and mentally. Shutting yourself off completely might mean you miss out on fun or other ways to learn about yourself. Dont get in a relationship for status, it stops the garden from flourishing.

As someone who is in high school, I don't give a shit about girls or dating. I want to become a amazing drummer and become a pilot someday. So that's what I chose to put my focus on. Dating in high school will never be worth it unless both boyfriend and girlfriend can fully understand each other and be mature enough to care for the other person. I can give you the advice that keep going to the gym, and maybe find another hobby that you enjoy, on top of the gym. That has made me not worry about finding the one. Remember, it’s my advice from what has worked for me and it might not work for you, but I still suggest trying that!

You really don't need to worry about dating and stuff whilst you're still in school. A lot of people do it and it just ends up being a waste of time because a lot of them never work out. Use the time to develop yourself. Pass life's trails and tribulations and then start thinking about dating and relationships. It's okay to think about it from time and time again, since you need to have a good idea of what find of woman you want in your life, but don't make it your goal. Once you overcome challenges your confidence will build.

I'm almost 31 and have not had a relationship. Not even had a chance to have one, women always have some excuse to reject me for one reason or another. At this age I'm not that bothered now. There is a difference between not being interested in girls and not being attracted to girls. You can still be attracted to girls but not want to pursue getting with them, probably because for some guys (like me) it's more trouble than it's worth.

I gotta ask, so, I went on a grind for a few months and it was fantastic, but I knew in the back of my head the whole time, I gotta help her. there was this girl I won't go into detail but she really needed help it was getting bad, suicidal at this point. and it was because she couldn't find love. for context, this was my ex. and after speaking to her friends I found out that after I had broken up with her and gone on this grind, she died internally. and I still wanted her to be happy so I got back with her and now shes just bursting with joy all the time but I've lost all my happiness and drive to keep grinding. I dont want to hurt her but I know it would be better for me to get back onto the grind

I also struggle with insecurity about my body (mostly because I'm on the plumper side). I also have an issue with considering if I'm good enough. I may not be able to help with talking to girls (singler than the word single), I might have some advice for boys. Don't look for the people who are taking the main spectacle first, loon for the more isolated and separate souls. They will be a lot easier to talk to when you just start trying to converse with them. If you act natural and don't try to play a facade, then it will help a lot when you try to talk with other people, even popular people (I don't know how it works, but it does)
I'll happily use and peruse social media but I would never be confident sharing pictures of myself and my partner online. Fair enough if they choose to do it but all these soppy and cringe-inducing captions just make me squirm. It just screams desperation, insecurity and craving positive affirmations from others.
