Dang dude I always wanted to join but i felt like i'd punch a drill sarge or something cuz y'know i dont like people in my face like that. I got anger issues and some demons that they couldn't handle. I still salute you trying thank you for your service
Honestly anger issues sucks especially when trying to serve. I don’t know if this would help but if you try to think about the yelling as them just wanting you to do better and succeed rather then them trying to piss you off or disrespect you then that might help. I wouldn’t just count you out over some anger issues. The military is a place to learn discipline and earn respect. The whole time I was there they put me up to high standards and expected me to treat them with respect and integrity just as my MTIs did to me.
If you want to join I support you, I’ve never been in a place with as much brotherhood as I was in flight 453, you learn to work together and be strong together. It was tough and I mean that it will push you no matter what anyone says.
@@Lootboxrng Dang man that's really good advice. Why did you feel it wasn't for you then with such a positive mental attitude? I just got out of doing 4 years in the Marine Corps and thought about rejoining, but like I said never thought I'd do well in the Air Force
@@Lootboxrng Also please know I'm just joking around man I get it it's not for everyone but at least you tried. The Corps was definitely difficult at times and that's just how it is. It's always good to chase a dream, even if you don't attain it
@@Hollar777 I had to learn that the hard way and it hurt. I waited a whole year and fought to get all the medical information they needed to get me in and I finally get there then blew it because I couldn’t handle the stress of being there it was chaos and everything had to be perfect to a T.
Some things aren't supposed to happen. Both of my parents are Marines so I wanted to be one too. I applied and the recruiters hadn't personally seen an ASVAB score as high as mine. I felt like I was golden. But they declined me because I used to have ADD as a child, but don't have it anymore. I went to my doctor and they hand wrote an 80 page document explaining how I don't have ADD anymore and having it previously can't affect me anymore and shouldn't matter. The marine recruiters still declined me. Such bull. Anyway, I hope your future endeavors into your life path are fruitful and I'm super excited to see more Let it Die content.
That’s super dumb, I thought marines would try to be more lenient on waivers. I know for sure the navy is if that might be interesting for you. Honestly if you still do want to join I’d try to find another marine recruiter if one’s nearby. It just seems like they didn’t want to do the paperwork. Also I still gotta get my life on track now that I do have to go to school and get back to working so the content might slow down I’m thinking of going back in spring once I get my own car and save up some money from working over the summer. The airforce was kinda my one way ticket to smooth sailing and a lot of money so I didn’t worry about any of this before hand because I thought I could do it, but it is what it is I’ll get back on the 9-5 grind.
@@Lootboxrng for me personally, it was Marines or nothing. Having two marine parents had a very high elitism drilled into me. Army, Navy, and Airforce all reached out to me and I declined. But it worked out, even though I had no college and just decided on the low pay 9-5 grind. I decided to just room with my big tiddy goth friend from Highschool and now we've been married for 10 years. I wouldn't have gotten her had I joined the Marines. So I'm hoping something amazing works out for you as well. You seemed open to sharing a bit of your life in these short videos, I think they are pretty cool and would like to see more of that as well. Might also help keep your channel alive. Frequent videos pleases the algorithm, I've heard. Maybe a video on your future dreams and goals next?
@@verdanthyborian2322 I’ll consider doing one, I’m happy to hear you found love in your travels through life, and even better to hear that it’s working out for you! I never really been a college guy I always just wanted to work hard and make money which I did at my job as a training audio technician. It’s nice to see people actually enjoying my content it does mean a lot at the end of the day I’m just some random guy from bum fuck nowhere that makes videos.
@@Lootboxrng Being a no name guy is the appeal for me. I've been craving more real feeling videos. RU-vid videos seem too "corporate" now. Heck everything feels like that. Look at the fall of Triple A games and the explosion of indie titles. Maybe other people are feeling like me. But I'm not trying to tell you to do anything, I have no content creator experience or knowledge. Well, cheers man!
@@verdanthyborian2322 brother I don’t either but I like that feel of it not being about making money and more about just making content I and other people find enjoyable. Which everything is real corporate nowadays there’s literally a song about it by one of my new favorite artists.
