I watched a video interview with one of the people who worked on the sequel to this game, Little Nightmares 2, and he was asked if Little Nightmares 2 is actually considered a horror game. And he answered that he doesn't think that Little Nightmares 2 is really a horror game, more like a mysterious fantasy game of some sort. So maybe the Little Nightmares games are not meant to be scary in the first place.

Love how often he does something absolutely comical, just no way it could've ever succeeded, and then goes "awww man, are you kidding me??" when it obviously fails. Relatable tbh!

I couldn't help but think LN was adorable, how the janitor has lil stubby feet, they are so cute I love them all my friend was shouting at me the entire playthtrough bc I wasn't supposed to think they were kinda adorable lil helpless creatures (especially in the second last chapter) But then I got fucking scared as hell in the last one, that one HITS DIFFERENT

Weirdly enough, I have seen multiple playthroughs of Little Nightmares 2 but none of the original until now, and lemme tell you, knowing the lore makes the opening of this game so much sadder. Rip Mono, who became the very thing he feared.

I got an ad for scream (the movie) while watching this. I swear every time I watch a scary video it gives me ads for something scary to make me nervous!

My brother recently started playing this game with me (me watching and them playing), so this was nice timing haha

Silksong's looking a little bit different than i remember Anyway the Little Nightmares series is one of my favourite video game series of all time, I even took my name from the main character of Little Nightmares 2, (I'm NB) so now my name is Monochrome lol (LN2's protagonist is named Mono)

I've never played a horror game in my life, but I still have advice for people who get heck scared out of them: 1. Befriend everything and everyone in the game, no matter how horrible they are. 2. Give everyone a cute nickname. 3. Sing your favorite song while you play (christian songs really, really help) 4. If you have a pet at home, keep them in your lap and narrate the game to them. 5. One thing I do when I get frightened is to a line from one of my favorite psalms: "The LORD will protect us, God of Jacob, our fortress." 6. And if you're shaken from your fear and can't get some things out of your head, pray and talk to people you trust. There's always someone out there for you, you've just gotta reach out. I just started the video, so I don’t know if the title is sarcasm or not, but the first game wasn’t scary at all for me, but the second one I feel provided a lot more suspense and kept me on edge, however I haven’t beaten it because I have a fear of mannequins and if you’ve played Little Nightmares 2 you probably know what I’m stuck on Edit: also this games lore is amazing
