I have the best time watching this series. I laugh at Darren, it's hard to believe that a house shit could pose any challenge to someone of his skill level. Jessie- proud of you for working to get better and more consistent. Keep picking his brain, keep what works for you. Keep it up guys, best bowling content I have found yet.

Ari Wilson, huh? I actually bowled in the same league as him back in our junior days at Brunswick Zone (that is, before that particular house closed down in January 2015). Memories aside, I congratulate him on 300 this video!

I'd really *LOVE IT* if you could do a video where you set one lane up for a *US OPEN* oil pattern and leave the next lane over from you setup as a typical house shot pattern. For those of us who are pretty good at bowling but have never experienced bowling on different patterns this would be very useful and informative of how different the conditions are from a THS compared to other patterns. Most of us haven't bowled on anything but a THS not by choice, but because we have other options for our bowling alley to set up the lanes with any other type of pattern. I also feel like the reason more bowlers that are VERY GOOD never end up becoming professional bowlers because we've never had the luxury of practicing on any other conditions other than the THS that all these places force upon us. I've never understood why bowling alleys won't allow leagues to try out different patterns from one week to the next. We all pay good money to bowl in these leagues every season and we should be able to experience other patterns so that we can get better at bowling on more than just a typical house shot pattern. If you could do this for me that would be amazing! I've yet to see any other bowler on RU-vid do this for their subscribers! 💯💯💯💯💯💯

This reminds me when I threw my mix in league and shot my previous high series of 761 (for 3 games). I love my red/silver/black mix and I have also used it to win some local tournaments on Cheetah and Wolf.

I have a plastic T-zone I throw for spares and for league nights when I've run out of oil for my Hustle SAY. I'm not a power bowler (Ball speed is 14.5 for me), but I've found it to be a pretty darn consistent performer. I've hit a LOT of turkeys using plastic. My best game ever actually was 275, throwing house balls for 9 straight strikes.

I have not been able to bowl in so many years. Our bowling alley closed and was turned into a church. I was the hardest thrower on my league. And that was while I was in a junior league with an average of like 180.

Mechanic here, 99% of the time when bowlers complain about racks not being on spot they are wrong. Actually had a league bowler tell me the 6 pin was leaning over and that's why he couldnt carry the 10 lol

I sometimes practice trapping or going with the fallback urethane on house. Not sure if that'd work for you but that's something to try

That’s very true when you feel good you do bowl better surprised yourself getting stone 9’s and not 8’s with a plastic ball, tell your editor congrats on the new belmo ball, there are sometimes when plastic works ever bowled on a pair burnt do bad there’s no oil left that’s when plastic comes into play and works

Bowled a 300 with my Mix last Friday. The catch? No Tap. 5 natural strikes, 7 No-tap strikes. Still, not bad. Technically, the Mix is a polished urethane, not plastic. It does hook a little more than the Ice.
