Exciting news - I'm running the 50th Berlin Marathon, one of the most iconic marathons in the world, with the ‪@Believeintherun‬ team and could not be more excited. This is an actual come true for a guy like me. @@AubreyRunning I’m taking it slow, I was sick for nearly 3 years, so I don’t want to push my body too hard. I’m gradually building my strength and endurance back believing it’ll serve me well once I start training for the marathon. 🥰🏃🏻‍♀️‍➡️

Not done Berlin but from what I’ve seen it looks to be flat and fast - the only full Marathon I have done in Germany was in Frankfurt, but I’ve also done Paris, Rome, Barcelona to name just a few. Always enjoy going to new places and running in cities I might otherwise never visit.

I recommend 2 currywursts and 3 Berliner Kindl the evening before the run. But you have to be careful not to get lost in Berlin... ;)

That ramp up sounds kinda excessive. Most say 10% increase in distance a week.

I agree… I kind of want note the first 4 weeks because I was already in shape for that kind of distance but going into week 6 I will be taking it on strictly
