I don´t know if this makes any sense, but i feel like his music and visuals are the expression of unconciously formed concepts and thoughts in your mind before you were able to translate them into an actual conciously tangible context. Like as if there were no words in in any language to express whatever the thought is, but somehow you still understand exactly whats meant.

Y'know, the reason I like Bill's music is because it's so unpredictable. Like, you can never predict what he's gonna say next and I think it adds a lot of flavor to the music.

Honestly, this song comforts me so much. And it's not even about how the music is so good and bizarre and unique. I mean it is, but I just really appreciate the lyrics here. I am scared. I'm scared of what's happening in the world. I'm scared about what's happening to myself. One moment, I love myself and the next I'm crying silently in my room trying not to wake up my family. I know what makes me feel sad, but sometimes I think of it on purpose. I'm scared of myself and of what I might do. I'm scared of my family because they are often the ones who trigger me. I'm scared of hanging out with my friends because I'm constantly reminded that I'm the extra in the group. I'm scared of letting myself think for too long. I know it might not be healthy to be this way, but as soon as I'm about to say that, I say it's nothing. I know that that might not be what he meant by the lyrics, but it's still so comforting to me.

bill is one of those singers that you almost dont even notice how good of a singer he is cus he's so "effortless" with it, he makes it sound easy but try those "falling" riffs yourself and see what happens lol

The weird thing about his music is that despite how absolutely bizarre it is, no matter how much it seems like his lyrics don't make sense they definitely still do? I can listen to this and still be like "oh yeah, I totally get what he means" but it's just three minutes of a guy having generalized anxiety and saying "I'm scared". Funky stuff. I really like it.

As someone with general anxiety, social anxiety, and slight agoraphobia I feel like this is my theme song.

Just realized this song was released on my 18th birthday and it's definitely accurate to how I feel on a daily basis. Making the transition into adulthood and college is a little intimidating; I feel confused and anxious and overwhelmed. But I know it will be okay.
