I had 5 children, all were natural child births. I can honestly say that the first is the hardest. Your body is already prepared for more births. Anxiety is natural. ❤

The fact that you both have those concerns of being remotely a “bad parent” definitely shows that you are AMAZING parents. Actually, the BEST!!!! I love seeing the love you have for each other which in my opinion is one of the best things you can do for a child. As I am sure you know, that is how they learn how a partner should treat you. Especially, ESPECIALLY how a daughter learns how a man should treat her. I definitely can tell dad is going to show your baby girl the best way a male treats a female. @@SarahAnthonyNarouski I had this couple I used to hang out with because we had the same age daughters and we all went to high school together. When the couple so mom and dad would be fighting I would watch them tell their kids, “don’t talk to daddy right now” and in return the other spouse would say to the kids, “ don’t you love daddy more” or sometimes those comments were reversed and trust me they would say other stuff like similar to the kids. I just couldn’t believe they would do that because I knew that it was creating something that could psychologically mess with the kids as the got older. You know I didn’t like what they would do but I would never think or say they were bad parents because I also saw the love they had for the kids. Now get ready for this foodie. My daughter when she started kindergarten seriously cried pretty much nonstop for the first week. She had severe separation anxiety. That couple actually said to me and my husband that we must be really bad parents and you must be doing something horrible to her since she cry’s like she does at school. (The kids were in the same class) I really couldn’t believe they would think that about us especially since they were doing some pretty crap stuff psychologically to their kids. They saw nothing wrong with themselves and trust me I stated the mild version of them. People just never cease to amaze me. Hope you have a great night, day, and week. My best advise as a mom of 3 is to just keep including Jack so that he feels involved and he won’t feel excluded. You will find ways to balance each child together, don’t worry, you got this guys! Also don’t worry Sarah, your not alone, I want a 4th and I still dread the thought of giving birth lol I feel like that with every single baby and I have had great birth experiences without complications.. but you are going to do great!!
Excellent advice from a well grounded mom myself. While we cannot always find the path to including one child and their emotions when a brand new baby comes home and so much attention is paid to the new birth that you will find that visitors are well meeting don't realize while they coo over new baby, I always reminded visitors when calling and asking if they could visit new "bundle of joy" (hopefully people realize that should not just drop by) Everyone should know but some don't that if they have the sniffles that is also a good time to let your guest know to pay some attention to other child. ... I appreciate you telling people that is so important and of course where there is no jealousy there will be no resentment. The one thing that is so important and your son already has a feel for it I can see, he wanted a little sister... tell him she will be his to protect if mom or dad aren't there like at school or playing outside. He will be who she brings things she may not want to talk to mom and Dad about but she will come to her big brother...brothers are great. They are little girls Knights in Shinning Armor. Watch Jack become annoyingly protective. My son would tell me "mommy hold the bottle higher, she getting air"... which she wasn't but OKAY SON, sure glad you were there to tell me, your such a great BIG BROTHER.. and Thanks, Rachel, for your wisdom!
Everything will work out. As a mom of 4 grown children. It is a transition from 1 to 2 kids, but it does work out. You two work so well together as a couple/parents. No time for wasted energy on worry✝️😊
I'm 24 weeks right now and I soo relate to the tiredness. Everyone says the second trimester is easier than the first, but the fatigue has knocked me out this trimester. Hope you feel better!

Jack and Jill?? LOL. I know a gal who's last name was Kane and she named her daughter Kandi. Looks like a stripper name! 😂 When I was carrying my daughter, my last name was Flowers and someone tried to talk me into the name April. I said absolutely not and besides the thing is April Showers, not Flowers. Besides, I already knew from the start what her name was going to be. So..wild card? I named my daughter Jill! LOL. What a lovely turn. So, of course I love the name but it would be just a bit oh I don't know the word. Somebody else?
My son came after 25 hours. My second child, a daughter, came 45 minutes after we got to the hospital and totally natural she came so fast. You got this Sarah!
My oldest daughter had a 24 hour labor, about 8 hours being active. 2nd baby labor was so mild until her water broke. They headed in and she gave birth about 13 minutes after walking into triage.
No lying......having one and going to two......is an adjustment........its harder because now there is a toddler and.....a newborn.......of course its an adjustment... Just like going from a couple to now 3 of you....it is harder right??? Well going to 4 is harder. Ithought anyway....but by having 2 kids i also became a single mom. Thattt was hardest.....but i just took it head on and worked thru it....i am a nurse so i adjusted by going to night shift. And sleeping when i could during the day...getting a babysitter to come atnight to stay with kids while i worked.......being a single mom is a lot harder then having to go to 2 kids...even with a husband.. Everything is an adjustment and you just learn to deal withit because you love them all !!
Ahhh I feel you Sarah. I'm 17 weeks with my second baby and giving birth again scares me plus I stress how will I care for my 4 year old after I give birth. Try and think positive everything will go smoothly ♡
A 4 yr old will be 5 soon and wow. That would be great... The older one will help you so much....run and get stuff you need or get the phone or grab the diapers ...you will just need to train the older one to help you ....start early with helping mom it is really good for kids to help do chores and help put toys away and all the things they will need to know in their little lives growing into older kids and beyond!!!!! ....
You will be surprised once she gets here. Your heart will grow 10 times in a second !! Your attention to both babies works itself out. Be patient with yourselves.
You navigate time between kids by tag teaming. In all honesty Jack and baby girl won't remember this part of their life anyway. Jack might not get as much attention at first but it will even out eventually. It'll all work out. Just keep a good routine and schedule and it'll help. Consider day care for a few hours so you can get work done and he can socialize and spend time with friends.
The thing about having additional children is that your love multiplies exponentially. Just as you had enough love for Jack without losing the love you had for each other. You also will have the privilege of watching sweet Jack interact with the sister he insisted was a sister from the very beginning. You will be wonderful with two kids!
I can tell you this much the fact that you are concerned about being "bad parents" makes you amazing parents. Y'all are doing great and are wonderful parents!
I just love watching you to interact with each other and with Jack. You’ve done so very and amazingly well with your marriage especially since you started so young. And your patenting skills are wonderful too. I believe your parents as your examples are the reason you are such good parents. You are blessed with a super support group with them, your siblings, and your friends. That goes a long way with being successful. Can you imagine what it would be like without having that in your lives?? Many don’t and that is sad. You’ve got this and it will all be fine. You put a smile on my face in each video you post! 😊

Congratulations! Look into various ways that will increase your body’s own production of glutathione, which manages pregnancy and reduces miscarriage risk. Especially look into alpha lipoic acid (notably useful in the third trimester to minimize sciatica), and unrefined whey protein. Both before and after you have your baby, I also recommend zinc+copper, 5,000 IU of vitamin D + K2 every 12 hours, and magnesium glycinate before bed, as immune and/or mood boosts. Recently, storable food has been doing better than stocks, and given various recent events, I don’t see that changing in the next 18-24 months. You should get some more of what you already use, and store it where floods can’t touch it.
There are so many older siblings out there that have had to adjust. I think Jack's going to do great although I'm sure there will be an adjustment period. Once you're past the tiny baby stage it will get easier and then it'll start to get really fun once your kids are old enough to interact with each other. You two are going to do great! Just think of all the people that have done it before you and survived to tell the tale!

As a Mama who had an almost 2 year old boy, then twin baby girls. I always tell people it is a lot of work, but honestly so much fun!! They are now 20, and 18. Take it one day at time, and have fun!!! 💜💜💜💜
Sarah, you got this, your first is the most difficult, you did brilliantly last time and you will do again. I had 5 each one easier than the one before. It's no walk in the park for sure but it's pain with a purpose. 👍❤️
So close to my birthday (3rd) so a Sagittarius ♐️ baby! Sagittarius love to explore and love nature, my mom said her biggest issue with me was dependency. It was a short worry I made friends really quick, I honestly think I was just scared of my teacher. Other than that I was a good baby, so be ready for even more family adventures and a few pets~ ❤ Not everyone's favorite pet and I'm sure they aren't pet's in Hawaii, but rat's have been my favorite pet so far they are so sweet and love to give kisses. I know Hawaii has a lot of pet restrictions and you can pretty much just have a cat or dog. Unless something has changed since I looked at the laws. 🤔
Just wanted to share something I heard years ago when I was a young mother. We spend so much time talking to and ask I nf the older siblings if they love the new baby and how much they love the new baby. It's equally important to let the older sibling know how much the new baby loves them. Just a little something that seems to be overlooked but struck me as important

I had my kids 17 months apart and my oldest was always my helper when my husband was I work. Include Jack in your day to day with the new baby and you will have as much time with him than the baby.
Baby, I was so afraid the second time but all in all, (and from everyone I have asked this morning--a grand total of 6) everyone agrees that the second time was easier (4 of us had NO epidural the 1st time and DID get it the second time DID) You have right there A HUGE IMPROVEMENT) because we ENJOY the birth with limited pain so there's that. WE ALL agreed that it's FASTER than the first time. So the experience was another 100% answer! We all agreed on the fact that just having the experience of the first time in your pocket WAS an awesome plus! That will tamp down the fear level.
You got this darlin. It’s normal to be scared but just remember the feeling you felt after Jack was born. The tears of happiness and the way you can’t even describe in words how much love you feel in that moment for your child. It’ll all be worth it. Y’all are awesome parents and every day is something new but ALWAYS remember YOU are the BEST and can’t NOBODY raise your children or bring them into this world better than you guys can. I'm Terri and I'm 66 yrs old and I had the same situation in that I had my son first and then my daughter, and secret to my heart, I still silently call them both my babies! LOL. Key word, SILENTLY! BUT... You guys said a few things I want to comment on, if I might take the time. First Sara.. I know you had a rough time, but oh darling, the look of love on your beautiful and sweet little face, in that one opening picture of you and your smile as you held Jack against you, was so wonderful, it made me cry with joy for you! They told me during my first time, that even though sometimes that pain is awful, that whenever you hold your baby for the first time, it all becomes so very much worth it.. My own daughter had the same beautiful smile as she held her first. I'm sure I did too, but things were different than, so you'd have to ásk the nurses! Next, did you know ahead of time about your pelvic bone being tilted when you were pregnant with Jack? I'm just wondering why they waited 20 hrs to break your water and give you that epidural. That's a very long time and even in my day, they would have acted much faster. I don't understand why it wasn't treated faster than it was. That's why I'm asking. NOW..the most important thing I want to share. My son was 3 yrs old when I was pregnant and seemed like he was over the moon concerning my daughter, until he saw her on the day I brought her home, and politely but firmly told me to take her back because he changed his mind and wanted a boy instead! LOL Guys, I've been such a cheerleader for you both and for little Jack, since I found your channel just before Jack was born! I think y'all are so sweet as a family. And that "y'all" is spoken for real, because I am a southern lady. Just saying! 🙂 As for Jack, you spoke about Sara's job as a mom and the changes in your life this new baby will bring, and you also did the same thing with Derik, but the biggest adjustment will be about Jack and how you can make enough time for him. I just smiled as I watched because it was me all over again! Except for the fact that I'm an only child and so was my ex husband. Our son was the first child for us, the first grandchild for our parents, and because my grandmother was still very much alive then, and I'm her first grandchild for the next 12 yrs. hey was also the first great grandchild! He was so loved and spoiled just a little bit too of course! I used to go off alone at times and just cry as I realized what a huge difference having this new baby would make. I felt so sorry for him. But you know what we did to make it all work? We explained to him how much we needed his help. After all, little girls need a big brother to look after them and keep them safe from harm, not to mention how much I needed him to help me take care of her. Her diapers were kept within his reach, along with lotions and oils for her skin. He would take her readied bottle to whomever was going to feed her and then ," help feed his sister". After that, I was NOT to do anything without him, as long as he was at home and awake. She became "his!" Let everyone else sort out who's going to do what. You will have 2 precious children and it will all just naturally fall into place. I promise! AND LAST BUT HARDLY LEAST..Sara, you are so right. Dressing up a little girl is so much FUN... just as long as you understand that from the age of around 3 or 4 yrs old, just as soon as you are done, she will run straight to her daddy with all that prettiness because she's Daddy's girlfriend. Especially in families with just one daughter! Derek, I know how much you love Jack, but like I said, it doesn't matter what you think now, this sweet little girl is going to be daddy's little angel, his baby girl, and his princess! FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE! As for Jack, he's already your best little bud. Just keep it up as he grows , and never stop telling him how much you love him, need him, and how proud you are that he's your son! I know you do that already and it won't ever stop. Beyond that, Sara will teach her to be a young lady and then a woman, just as Derik will teach Jack what he will need to do as a good man. Bottom line, it's so easy. The Beeston family will still be the Beestons. Y'all are just gonna add one. more spoon full of love to the pot and don't forget to stir! Everything will be fine. I promise like I said before. I do promise!!!. God has this. Man, I won't say God bless you, because at least for now sweet family, He already and so certainly, and sweetly...has! ❤️❤️❤️....❤️. 😊
I know during my pregnancies, having my thyroid levels checked helped me stay on track with my energy level. Low thyroid can cause that extreme tiredness where you just feel like a blob.
Ive had 2 boys and 2 girls,my cravings were pastrys donuts,danishes,etc with both girls,,and more homestyle meals,veggies,meat etc with my boys,and it is a worry that you can't give your first all your attention,and feelings of guilt,but it's NORMAL,,you feel like this bcuz you love Jack so much,and being overwhelmed,your rite,give sum time to urselfs sometimes.Youll figure out the time spent w your babies together,your a great team!!!And you need to do the epidural later in the labor,but it does work differently w each woman,I do believe it will be easier and quicker than your first.And epidural might work differently this time.Eather way you'll do great,and Jack will love his baby sis.I made sure my first new it was his sissy "his" baby we called her .Let him "help as much as possible.itll be sweet,Jack is a sweet ,kind soul ,just like his parents.love you guys!!! congratulations on babygirl ( my guess name ) Saylor Moon!?
Just had my 4th child.. 4th natural birth.. and I was more petrified 4th time round lol.. its OK.. its just like we say about previous labours.. you forget the pain as soon as bubba is born and you then say ahh I was scared for nothing. You will be fine girl ♥️♥️
I have 3 kids pretty closed age! I would say this! Baby girl will be so little to remember anything but Jack is big now and he will feel and remember more than new-born! You guys are lucky since you both work from home so you have one or another to helps each other out! If Sarah feed the baby, your husband could play with Jack! Or when your husband put the baby to sleep then Sarah could play with Jack! It will work out just put a lot of time for Jack when newborn is here. Make him feel like he is included in this let him helps you with the baby as much as he want to. It's a lot of fun to have siblings for them. Good luck!

You'll be fine. I only ever wanted two, so I decided to give it one last hurrah, and when they told me to push, I pushed, and I had her out in 3 pushes. It was shorter labor and quick birth, then clip clip.....
And you should be it is very Scary, so many things can go wrong.And it is so painful,playing like it isn’t is out right lying.You have every right to feel the way you feel.
So to help you with the Spending time with both children. have Jack Help you with the baby. Like when you're changing her or bathing her have him help you hand you stuff. let him know The baby is his too his baby sister. So that way you're spending time with both of them
You'll do great!! Especially with Derrick thereby your side. Focus on the breathing. I had my first at 17 with no pain medication, no epidural nada the Dr said I was the toughest little girl he's ever seen. It is scary but look at the end result. 💕💕💕😘😘
You guys can play with both you’ll see I hD 4 kids 2 boy and 2 girls and I always found a way to play with them all with eachother and then as the got older dad would take one or two and I’d take one or two and have alone time with them it doesn’t work out cuz my kids are grown last one is just months away from being 18 and oldest is 30 and never once has any of my kids thought it said they felt they didn’t get Enuf time or was left out.
Well there's no getting out of it. I remember saying that when I was in labor and listening to women screaming down the hall. You'll be surrounded by lots of love and it may be a whole new experience the second time. God be with you.
some advice. they used to raise babies in caves. think about that. so dont let all the little "to-dos" get to you. listen to your baby. sometimes other people can get in to your head and make you feel like youre not doing enough. but you are. when your baby is happy and healthy, youve done a good job.

I know when my son was born, my daughter wanted me to take him back. But then she was the best big sister , helped me alot. All these concerns are normal, Sarah.

We had everything for a girl and had a boy. I crocheted stuff for a girl like shoes and blankets, hair bows and headbands with flowers. As a Nana I was disappointed but got over it like you said Derik . He's 6 and we adore him.

One reason I love your channel, plus lo and tanner's, is that I lived in Utah for a few years and for some reason yalls content makes me really nostalgic especially when yall are back in Utah.
