I'm amazed with this thing. It's crazy to think that they can get better than this. I ride around on my Air and feel like I'm cruising around in something made for Bruce Wayne. It's honestly sick. Your video and others definitely helped me make the decision and I'm glad that I did. I've been out every day this summer and it's just been a blast. I did skateboarding for over a decade and the Apollo Air has really brought back my love for just getting outside and having fun again.
Apollo, add another 500w motor, and for the $1,000 you would sell a ton. Even for $1,200 I would be sold. Maybe this is in the works? Every other aspect of the scooter is great, but I’m looking more power, but below the cost of the City Pro.
Apollo told me when I contacted them the air now has ip66 certification yet they haven’t updated this on their website it still says ip54 would not have confidence to buy and use in wet right now. Update the ip to give confidence and add indicators and this is a great scooter. Be nice if handlebars folded though to give better portability.
Awesome review and super well produced video. I just recently got my OKAI Neon scooter stolen and ended up picking up an Apollo Air. Waiting to get it delivered tomorrow and am super hyped about it. My only concern about the scooter is with its folding/latch mechanism. The OKAI is super simple to fold, where you can pretty much hit the folder lever with your foot, it'll fold and lock on its own, without and additional hooks. I'm hoping the Air won't be much of a hassle to get folded up when running errands and going into shop to grab goods etc. Anywho, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the great review! I'd like to buy this but I'm under the impression that this thing is absolutely not for even basic hills. But why would Apollo make something so weak
The dog looks just like my childhood dog, great dog, so good all around. He loved riding in the car, window down, face in the wind.. he would have loved the Apollo Air.
There's many options, don't have one off the top of my head but check out my website, it's got all my reviews sorted by price electricrevolutionreviews.com/
Great review. But for 1k, it's better to pick up the Vsett 8 or FluidFreeRide Horizon. In my opinion. The Air is too pricey for its specs, even if we ignore the QC issue of Apollo. 🫠
