Lmao that part after 2:05 is way too funny, it’s as though it was 💨ed upon the subscribers 😆 and then followed by I’m sorry 😂 which is even funnier - that’s the message I get from it!

How could you not trust someone with a moustache like that?
You’re a legend bro. I thought I was out of the loop on something! Glad to see you enjoying a new language so much. It bothered me that the outside perception of learning Japanese had tainted it so much for you but it’s dope that now you can appreciate it in your own right.
@@Jess-737 Well, if you want my honest opinion, Japanese as a language is not for everyone. It really depends on what your goals are with the language. A lot of people get discouraged when they realize just how much work is required versus what their goals actually were. If you want to study Japanese because you love their games and anime, well maybe picking up a bit won't hurt, but you can already play and watch almost all of the best ones without learning a word of Japanese and it is nearly impossible to reach a level of fluency such that doing either in Japanese will be anything more than a study tool. I'm studying to pass the N1 and it's still brutally hard to read books and games. If you want to learn Japanese calligraphy, or any other Japanese art, a more focused education is probably better as well. If you just want to be able to communicate with Japanese people, reaching N4 or N3 will probably do that for you. Keep in mind though that Japan has very strict social rules and you can and will mess them up easily. Luckily, Japanese people themselves tend to be kind to a fault and will generally give you a pass a foreigner. The real problem is when unconsciously failing to uphold a social rule causes them to misread your intention entirely. I once sat in a restaurant for an hour without service, because I didn't know you had to reach your hand out of your booth and yell "sumimasen!!!" to get any service. After that hour, I still hadn't picked up on exactly what to do, so I just got frustrated and awkwardly left. You might think that's just one example, but these kinds of unique social rules exist in all aspects of life and the people around you do and will notice. Another thing to consider is, if you are beyond college age, 22ish+, it can be very difficult to meet and befriend Japanese people without drinking. Most of them work long hours and then go to drink after. This is necessarily a problem, but it can be kind of rough having to go to a bar every day to prevent loneliness. None of this is to say that there aren't many good reasons to study Japanese. The country itself is beautiful, the people are kind and friendly once you understand how to work around some of their unique quirks, their food is nutritious and tastes good, their cities are amazingly clean, and their entertainment is good for a variety of people. You should just be sure you understand your own reasons for learning Japanese. (Also, just simply wanting to hang out with other weebs for 4 years is not a terrible reason to take Japanese in college.)
@@Jess-737 as someone who passed JLPT N1 after grinding the language for an entire year of my life (with a 97th percentile score, but who really cares right), honestly, not really lol. sure being fluent in the language and being able to understand everything you see/hear/read is cool and all but tbh unless you truly are thinking of living in japan, knowing the language is next to useless in day to day life. i also feel like the time i spent learning japanese couldve been spent doing more useful or productive things (i was 13-14 at the time and had basically zero social life). i guess its useful for watching youtube/streamers in japanese or being able to engage with media in general and otaku culture (anime/manga/novels/eroge etc.), but other than that you most likely will not find any use for the language unless you go out of your way to seek and maintain online relationships with japanese people... and for me personally after kinda "growing out" of my otaku culture phase i rarely find use for the language anyways. although its always cool to know another language, to be frank its not really worth the time imo. not to say that learning japanese is hard or unenjoyable, its quite the contrary actually (u basically just spam any anime/immersion content u like), but it takes a lot of time. if u just want to learn for anime then i can guarantee that understanding the language will not have any substantial effect on the level of enjoyment of pretty much all anime/manga.
Thank you I needed some sources to practise dramatic English and your desperate crying was truly helpful and satisfying to watch ☺️ please consider making more crying videos in the future 🙏
Hum, aktchually the language is not "Anime". It's called "Manga". Like the fruit. Because Japanese people have more vitamins than the rest of the population. You're welcome.
I didn't expect it at all omg!! I'm learniing Japanese for a few month and I conpletely understood why did you put it in dogwater tier but that feels so much better to know that your favourite language youtuber suddenly changes his mind and learns this beautiful language as well as others.
"I thought I saw it in the animated thumbnail earlier" - RU-vid changed their website so that if you hover your mouse cursor over a video on the main page, it will actually play the video and advance the seek bar. So when I clicked on the video, RU-vid started me AFTER the bit with Steve, which is why I thought it had been cut out. I don't like the changes RU-vid has made to the site. I don't like how moving the cursor over the video plays the video. That's dumb.
@@ems4884 This is a fresh russian meme, inspired by the artist who said it when he apologized to the society that condemned him and other artists who were caught for being at some crazy drug orgy party.
I’m appalled, I’m distraught, and quite frankly, I’m disappointed. I never thought my idol, the ultra polyglot giga chad language simp, would stoop so low. I need to rethink my life decisions after this…this MOCKERY 💔
Bro, it's completely ok to learn japanese, we love you and no matter what decision you make we'll still support you (as long as you're not learning esperanto), people should be allowed to learn any language they want to without feeling ashamed for it (as long as it's not esperanto), and you're no exception, I'm glad you took the courage to come out in this way, in fact you've been giving us many hints recently, it was clear that you would not stand being in the language closet for so long, have a happy learning

Man 😢😢 That was the hardest video i watched in last 7 years.. I'm sorry for you chose 🤧🤧 Remember man, we are with you whatever you do! 🤗🤗 Everything will normalize and you WILL move to North Korea, it's just about time!! 🥹🥹
As a longtime fan of your channel, to learn about this was incredibly shocking. I'm glad that you had the decency to own up to your mistakes and explain them to us. Thank you for your honesty, Language Simp.
I honestly felt betrayed. How could he do that to us? After all those years spent together, This news was so shocking to me. But again...I think we could allow him a second chance...
everytime i see an "i'm sorry" video from a youtuber i like, i always think that if i click on the video, the first phrase will be "i didnt knew she has 12!"
I came into this video thinking that it was a joke but wow. This is completely unacceptable and I can't believe language simp has ended up like this. I'm disgusted and honestly I don't see how I or anyone else could trust him again.
We are here with you brother; I remember when my long journey through this began about a year and a half ago. I remember the cold reactions of my family and friends... It doesn't get easier... I think some folks just won't understand what you're going though unless they've been through it too. Be strong and you'll make it out okay! がんばって!!! :)
I was like you and I used to hate on people that watched anime in college. I went to engineering school and people rarely showered so I getting deeper into my prejudice. Fast forward 4 years later I’m the biggest weeb ever. After watching Hunter x Hunter I realized I was missing out. I’m so glad you’re coming around hehe
It's ok bro. Nobody here wants to judge you. Take your time to heal and we'll be here when you decide to come back. I'm sending positive vibes to you and your situation. Take care. ❤
Fuck yeah! Started learning japanese a few months ago too! Hoping for aome livestreams to learn together. I feel like i'm the only learner of japanese who doesnt really enjoy anime though
Man, I'm with you. You may not know me, but I know what it feels like to make a mistake. I once got in the same story as you did, I learned English (took me 10 minutes to build my confidence and confess it). This was years ago but I still cannot get rid of the feeling that it was something that good people should avoid in their life. Yet, the decision was done. Many people don't understand me, I don't understand them, you know I live in an Orthodox country and it is a sin, so many people carry a grudge in me I guess... I wish I were a better son. My parents, friends and my girlfriend have forgiven me. I hope everything will end the same good for you too, man. I wish you the best, Language Simp, stay strong as you have always been ❤
Well, how often are you applying Japanese to your life? I don't claim to be an expert on anything, though I'll say perhaps try holding conversations daily or something. Doesn't even have to be with a human being, you can use AI if you want to, just as long as the data it's been fed is not Google Translate. @@savanimay
Actually, all should be learning the prettiest languages ever created Norse / Icelandic / Dutch / English / Norwegian / Gothic / Faroese / Danish / Welsh / Forn Svenska 2gether, which are too pretty not to know, instead of non-pretty languages that are also unnecessarily complicated and impossible to be truly fluent in, one could literally learn 10 easy and pretty category 1 and category 2 languages, instead of learning one category 10 language that isn’t even pretty lol, like, I would never be able to førçe myself to learn Japanese or other non-pretty languages, not even for a million dóllahs, and I always choose wisely, only the pretty and easy languages that are fun to learn, and I always prioritize the prettiest languages the most, which are the most fun to learn and speak and hear and see etc - I cannot understand how can one learn such non-pretty funny-sounding languages as Japanese, most Japanese words sound embarrassing with funny sound patterns and letter combinations that aren’t good!
Hola language simp mano, eres un gran actor por un momento pensé que realmente había ocurrido una tragedia... Saludos desde Venezuela Suerte con el idioma anime
Definitely appreciate the shot where Language Simp sits down. The glimpse at those gigachad pecs in that clinging ribbed undershirt is something I’ll not soon forget!
