Remember that this game was released in 2013.. The first thing It appears through the content of the game [TLOU1] it's because of Disastrous epidemiological situation resulted a decision to take the quarantine and the curfew procedures the second thing During the playing period [TLOU1], it is noticed that there is a banners at the beginning Their content has not been disclosed But with the end of the game approaches, Joel explains its content by saying : another city another abandoned quarantine zone - Ep. 9 At 4:40 The third thing At the beginning of the game [TLOU1] Joel stands in somewhat camouflaged scenery and The camera points to a banner It announces curfew hours With an advertisement in a woman's voice saying attention citizen are required to carry a current ID at all time compliance with all city personnel is mandatory - Ep. 1 At 28:04 The fourth thing during the playing period [TLOU1] there is a scene documenting the arrest of Joel and Ellie and Tess By a man and a woman belonging to FEDRA organization or US ARMY as I think and They have an epidemic detection device with them just like covid 19 in reality - Ep. 2 At 10:40 The fifth thing It is noticed during the playing period [TLOU1] the presence of fungi that produce spores that spread in the air in some places just like covid 19 in reality, And for protection Joel and Ellie and Tess And the others They used Gas mask, [medical mask] in reality - Ep. 1 At 38:17 The sixth thing It is noticed during the playing period [TLOU1] That there are doors in the game that are locked with massive locks And these locks written on them [US ARMY or FEDRA] as if the situation was considered so dangerous that people were prevented or US ARMY or FEDRA forces people to stay in their homes and This often happens because of the epidemic or a condition considered dangerous - Ep. 1 At 31:30 The seventh thing, it is noticed that the FEDRA medical camps are identical to the medical camps that exist in reality - Ep. 9 At 18:23
the first time i played through the hospital bit at the end, i was so shaken by everything that happened and how [purposefully] confusing the way out is carrying Ellie.. i must've failed and restarted half a dozen times.. you managed it really easily! lol. thanks for sharing your playthrough~
Really glad you enjoyed it, Jackie! It was a treat watching you work your way through this one. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Looking forward to the dlc and part 2!
Nice ❤ I've only seen a few playthroughs where the person actually recognized the importance of Joel grabbing his wrist watch at the very end of the game
Just letting you know, it it actually possible to traverse the "tunnel" without firing a single shot, saving all those molotovs, bombs and ammo. Since all the enemies that can see (with their eyes) are sleeping, moving carefully will not alert the others (clickers or bloaters). I usually only take out 4 runners on the right using stealth, one in the first section, and then the 3 in the corridor (where you used the flame thrower). The scary part is in the last section when you need to sneak past a sleeping clicker while having a bloater walking and growling on your right.
It was such a nice journey! Filled with a lot of emotions, jumpscares and spore zambies. Bucle up for Last of Us part II, it is another rollercoaster of emotions
The thing you said at the end about how they built their relationship through both cut scenes and gameplay is exactly the thing that I loved about the storytelling in this. I love the way after you clear an area and you're looking around for loot the conversation will go on, and it gives you options once in awhile to keep it going. This is just such a well-written story. So do you think Ellie believed Joel at the end?
I feel like by the end of this game Joel's killed half of the remaining population. What a great playthrough of one of my favorite games of all time. Can't wait to see what's next.
13:05 after everything with David and Joel's injury, all the worry, fear, and anger, it was so awesome seeing Ellie happy. 29:00 took care of that Bloater like a boss Jackie! Well played! 👏😁 NEEEXT!! 😂 40:35 😬 I enjoyed this playthrough! You going to play the DLC next Jackie? 😁 It's so good! Until next time Peace and Love ✌️😎
Not trying to spoil anything but when the giraffes showed up it reminded me of something in part 2, it's my favorite game on Playstation. Awesome to see you upload again!
4:50 My-co-toxin with a hard C. Myco is the Greek-derived prefix for fungi, so we refer to them as mycota with a hard C or mycete with a soft C the way you were pronouncing it.
Oh, can't believe I missed this episode till now. I meant to ask you about your opinion of the show, but you've covered that already. Great playthrough Jackie, part 2 is also a banger game, I'll certainly watch your PT of it. Have a great day.
3:55 Nah, your nightmares aren't weird. Weird is suddenly realizing that you forgot to wear pants to school (but somehow no one has noticed yet). 11:37 One of my favorite scenes in gaming (or any medium). 49:11 My parents took in a stray cat a few years back. She was surprisingly friendly and made herself right at home in their laundry room. Turns out she was pregnant. They ended up getting six strays for the price of one. 59:39 The American southern drawl is such a goofy sounding accent 🤠(kind of adorable when you do it, though). 1:52:59 The end of an epic journey is always bittersweet, but hearing your final thoughts is always a treat. Thanks so much for this playthrough, Jackie!
The more u listen to the younger generation’s thoughts, the more u realize how much more extremely sensitive they are compared to all the other generations 😂. Idk but that could possibly explain a lot. This isn’t a diss. Just an observation. She handled that hospital combat like a boss btw. I was not as graceful back in my first playthrough
I don’t Really know What you mean by that and How it explains alot. But if you refer to me, yes . I do get sensitive about certain topics and I have always been like that . People have different personalities and get passionate about different things, and thats great!👍 Sometimes being too sensitive can be a seen as a weakness in our society and I have never understood why. Maybe we see this differently? But i am a person that might care a bit too muuch about stuff I cant control in the daily life , and its a problem for me😅 Ps. i dont know What age you see as younger generations but Thanks, i guess 😂
