Honestly, I've really been trying to find a reason to play the game. I mean, after doing main stage and playlist, there's nothing else, just boring grand races and there's nothing else after that, so recently I've been playing other racing games, and I've never had this much fun, forza was amazingly fun and need for speed unbound multiplayer is so fun and even other games that don't have racing I've been enjoying honestly, Motorfest is just getting worse to me..

Your timing for FH content might be perfect if FH6 gets announced next month (~9 June 2024). At least the Festival Playlist in FH5 promotes playing with friends and working together rather than just being a boring collection of leaderboards like the summit.

The crew needs to improve with the fixes and adding features mid season that was already a problem in TC2, but you will understand that forza is very bland game that the only activity you have is the weekly playlists, for a person who played consistently FH4 and buyed FH5 on launch i dropped it in a month in half because was the same game with a diferent map (and a worse one IMO). And you cant only blame the game your content hasn't been good lets be fair you're constatly redoing the same concepts for videos only longer and longer wasting time, people start to getting tired of seeing the same clikbait (not hating its just critic).

It's not only that they chose not to remove traffic, but at least address it by adding skills that are offroad or locked to a certain car just not boring slaloms. What do we expect a huge team of devs to do

Only reason I get on the game anymore is to do grand races and collect vanities and cars that I was missing from The Crew 2, I don’t mind the re-ran cars for that reason, like how the Divo Magma Edition was brought back in December of last year as a Platinum Summit Reward. The challenges of each playlist I can’t really be bothered to do, many of the challenges I will never be able to do anyway because they require other members of your crew to be with you, but to have a crew you need friends, other real people. It makes it so I lose motivation to do anything apart from the vanity and car collecting… TL;DR; I only get on to collect cars and vanities. Occasionally do Grand Races.

3:00 yea i was highly upset about them not removing traffic from skills.. I'd much prefer to just blast through the SUMMIT feats and move one. WITHOUT having to do them 12 times because the traffic's thicker than the accent of a New Yorker in Texas and vice versa. Them telling us to fck off pissed me off even more..

The game is lame right now. I just played this week's summit, nowhere near 1mil, this week's summit is terrible, Ubisoft needs to get it together. I'm not even trying for legend points at all. Just done with it, and Ubisoft has completely started ignoring my feedback on X. They seem like they don't care.

Ivory tower really needs to turn to the players, they need to care more about the game and bug fixing. They should make a suggestions tab ingame, or on the website. where you can put images and text into the suggestion, and try to make it work together as a community. I totally understand the decision you are making, Sid. i have not played motorfest for over a month, because i finished all the playlists, all skills, all photo missions, there is no fun anymore in the game. The concepts you have made should be in the game 1000%

I think you have every right to be critical of this game. The traffic in skills is a joke. And the fact they still allow players to use 3rd party auto clutch plus other hacks. Give it to everyone or none at all. The game has been out around 7 months and its utterly boring. I play on wednesday and thats it. I feel like ive been conned by ubi/ivt. This was never a full game and more of a DLC. Myself personally will nevwr buy anotjwr ubisoft game again. Well done on speaking out sid. ❤

Facts I agree the traffic should not be in our summit period also if they would just listen to people who play the fucking game then they would actually have something in the updates, no one cares about another drift summit.. what about summits for all the other categories of vehicles, like dirtbikes,rally raid,rally, f1 cars, planes, and all they add is st2 hyper and st1 every now and then is crazy to me. Plus both year one pass cars where just more drift cars ? When we just got done getting hoonigan drift vehicles. They ignore all the other cars and types of vehicles that are in the main game. All they add is cars from the crew 2 and call it “new” but they’re not.

The Summit just isn't fun enough to keep me coming back, especially with the fomo, the mostly unchanged structure from TC2, and the lack of multiplayer promotion (when friends don't have similar skill level). I've 'played' for a year (beta) and am pretty much done, sans maybe a brief look at new playlists.

Me now with both game: Do the Summit get whatever and see you next week. Only if i can get a Summit car on TC2 i do some effort.

Photo mode does not work for me its so unfortunate because its like my favorite thing in the game, like why is there a cap on how much photos you can take. The photo gallery is even worse 1. I cant even enter it my game Just crashes. 2. Even if i could get into it half of my photos are Just black.

Sid, I've always enjoyed your commentary and content. Burnout is a real thing. You should consider how much of your frustration is objective vs what happens when you really just mine a game for everything it has and ... well.. there's nothing left. I think /all/ racing games on the market today have this issue. FH vs Forza vs Crew 2 or Motorfest or Unbound... they all run out of steam. Ivory tower tries hard to keep the live service bit going but it's also clear Motorfest was rushed and not a real Crew replacement. I don't think you'll find hope in FH5, I burned out on that far faster than I did Crew (thanks to summits being actual meaningful weekly content). And Forza Motorsport is also... struggling atm to gain real traction. And Electronic Arts can't bring meaningful live updates to their NFS series (too focused on making sure we all buy the next one). I love crew i had alot hours in 1 and 2 and now in motorfest about 600 but now i only play when they add good new car in sumit and collect car reward from car meet and that is it...

If one update is 4 months the minimum amount of cars should be 16. That's 1 new vehicle a week. 4 month updates are way too long and there's not much in it.

Because it would take actual skill to game past it, but in racing, it needs to be And the liveries are messed up for me. All the things yall are saying is messed up. It's not messed up for me but I have been having problems with my game freezing and crashing when I use rewind in some of the motorsports f1 circuit Playlist & it's only a select few events that it happens in.

Honestly I wouldn’t mind their laziness on this game if we at least got more pvp content. Why can’t we load up a match with single category races or lapped races? Im just so done complaining abt this game for the improvements it could realistically implement yet having the community receive no communication from IVT despite how desperately we want this game to succeed. Your complaints aren't complaints like you said. It's constructive critism for a game that fell off several months ago. Maybe if they didn't slap together the game and release it several years early we would have working mechanics and working mirrors like FH5 has. TC2 is still much better them TCM in almost every way. The handling in TCM is better then TC2 but nowhere near the way it should be (comparing it to FH5 since that arcade game did handling correctly). And the minuscule map in a 2024 title... Everyone is bored out of their minds playing motorfest. They never should have made it a festival playlist style game after seeing the fatigue that came from Forza's FIFTH festival entry... Sid, SidSidSidSid... Shhh.... I don't want to be the bearer of bad news here, but... Developers... Don't have to do what gamers tell them to do. The developer is the artist here. If they decide something should be a design choice, it's because it's their intellectual property. I think it was quite ballsy of them to make that announcement publicly - they really didn't need to - and I honestly commended them for doing so. Purchasing a game based on what is presented to you is very much an informed personal choice. Saying, "What I was given is bad and I want it changed after the fact" is barking up the wrong tree. It would be way different if it was something that functionally broke the game (see the recent Sony/Helldivers BS or TC1's delisting). But to be fair, *you* have broken this game more than IVT themselves have. But that's none of my business.
