well if we are talking about roblox fighting games in general then the first place amongst the amount of cheaters is probably soulshatters. Every time i join a server i get harrassed by at least one exploiter or see someone getting harrassed by the exploiter. And about glitch abusing: the entire combat is based around that because the game dev decided that announcing the grand update and then dropping the game like a baby on the floor few month later is fine

AUT's sdio's movestacking is actually from the old universe, you were able to movestack in old universe and everything was buggy anyway. So yeah it's 100% sure that it's a bug from before and you can report people that abuses that bug in ranked.
Remember shadow kannah power bar and vampire heal in old universe? By mashing knifes clicks R and E You could do so much dps you could bring someone to almost Red hp bar in bare seconds

Gotta love that AUT tech where you tp out of bounds with a ts stand/goku, wait for ki/ts, then go back in bounds and repeat when you have infinite s or ts
In AUT theres a “Tech” with tw where Donut can be paired with any other move, leading to a movestack with ground slam, and because theres no knock back theres an opportunity for a free roda rolla.... ultimately doing 160 free damage
Fun fact: Sdio's movestacking is (or was) even worse then it is said, i saw that someone found out that by using a macro you can not only movestack every single Sdio move, you can do that without a cooldown. Now that's balance.
Im a hacker that avidky supports cheating to ignore the "grind". Especially in yba, where getting a single stand can take fucking hours of your free time. Shits not worth. Long story short: Never grind, always cheat 👍
im just glad that eclipse is looking out for people who dont want the cheating either, instead of joining them and showing others how the glitches work to spread it, he doesn't share it if he sees it to keep less people from doing it, thanks eclipse.
Yesterday I tried to do solo SBRs on my day off, and within two hours I had finished two SBRs and written 2 reports that contained 6 cheaters. It's just unplayable.

Funny enough, I've seen more hackers in normal YBA than in the SBR. Most of the hacking is just people teleporting to item locations or people using speed hacks with 6 Pistols because of its improved dash to move out of stuns such as a barrage.
Good insight overall, I like the video a lot. The Jojo Roblox Fighting community sucks with cheating, that’s apparent from just playing. However, I still feel there’s a bit more grey area to what a “tech” is. Referring to something like Super Smash Bros. Melee, Wavedashing is abusing the physics engine to increase movement speed. This is one of the most widely known “techs” in the Melee community, so what constitutes this as a cool tech that shows skill and can be used in the game to something like Cream’s dimensional hop speed exploit? Is it a difference in games, is something like Wavedashing bad in your opinion, or is it entirely something else? Genuinely want to know, thanks if you actually read this.
@Random Pokemon This is false, it isn't like the game doesn't know what to do when someone airdodges against a platform, it's just a quirk of how the game's physic handle 'dash momentum', it is a byproduct.
In gpo you can move stack but the community honesty considers it a tech and the devs kinda do too I think we’ll see if they remove it next update but it’s hard to do and not stupidly overpowered so I think it’s fine in that game

i hate how that script popped up immediately after the halloween update, me and my friend were playing sbr for fun one night, at the end of stage 2, and suddenly he just falls down to the deep depths of hell. it was a great laugh but it's been annoying the past couple days
The difference between actual techs is tech is meant for technique, Its something that isnt a bug, and that requires skill or "technique" to use consistantly. A bug is literally just a thing working how its not supposed to work.
I think the reason why cream's dimension dip boosted movespeed is that it you are entering and leaving the dimension fast enough to get the speed boost but not get slowed back down when you leave.

I love using exploits to fight another exploiter but end up joining the bad exploiter due to being teamed by 15 other people accusing me of killing them and joining the exploiter when I used my own exploits to get rid of the exploiter
I clowned on a cheater that had kc. He just spammed heavy punches so guess what i did. Parry. But he had nostun. He also never used time erase and eventually he killed me but it took him so long he was so mad and i was just laughing my ass off with a friend

I’m so happy you made this. Currently there is a bug where King Crimson is able to time erase. And upon re-appearing the users character is still there but can’t be hit. They become completely intangible. In the mean time their real hitbox is posing. (Typically in a tree). It happens every game and it’s downright impossible to kill them. I was ranked 4 and because I accidentally admitted that a guy who was running was wasting my time and making me lose ranked points, he decided to abuse this. I went from rank 4 to 63 in one game. (Didn’t log cause last time I logged I lost my rank entirely.) Anyways. If you are using this. You aren’t good, you need to stop, and will be banned like the rest of them.

kc arm chop on SHA before it was patched is what i believe you were referencing, this happened a lot with me. buts its not MY fault they wanted to use arm chop while my sha was out.
for clarification on what a tech would actually be, it'd represent a difficult, but not impossible way to abuse an intended feature, like using weird angles on platforms to trick the physics engine into thinkings you're sliding, and gaining temporarily faster movement speed while being able to attack, it's very useful, but not overpowered as it leaves the enemy with a fighting chance,a nd is very difficult to pull off
@Zateson alright I used to be pretty known on the yba discord and do you remember game suggestions I made a suggestion to do that then it got put in highlighted suggestions then they saw it and agreed with me and added it to the game.
There's still a glitch where pierce strike lingers, and it lets you use it into anything and guardbreak. It's pretty crazy when it works. Like, ragdolling someone and then powering up the pierce strike lingering hitbox and just absolutely camp your opponent on recovery.
it literally says it in the upgrade skill tree for pierce strike that it "hits multiple times" (meaning that the hitbox fires multiple times seeing as it only damages once)
That's so annoying, especially with something like SP, which has its own problems as u can just ragdoll someone and inhale and most likely get them without their stand, instant 75% combo, imo inhale should have a startup, like it's legit 5 second stun in which u can't do anything, isn't hard to land at all, has a low cooldown, and can combo start, combo extend, extremely OP, and pluck pierce ragdoll cheese isn't nearly as OP, but rly annoying, altho p sure u can mash Q and get Ur stand out before they barrage
The lingering hitbox wackyness with Pierce Strike is technically possible with every single moves in the game, considering every moves has some sort of lingering hitbox : M1s comes to mind, Star Finger, Heaven Smite... but it just so happens that Pierce Strike has a LONG reach and doesn't suffer from as much endlag as the other moves mentionned, which makes it *the* notorious case of lingering hitboxes
people would abuse the HG marionette doll bug where it breaks you and you cant do anything but walk and jump, no interacting with anything or using any moves, it would just straight up break you and you would need to reset, everyone abused the fuck out of the bug in SBR and would just end up killing everyone off and winning
I think what we need is just there to be a defined way to understand what is tech and what is just glitch abuse. I little old game i used to play called wisteria had a glitch called run tech. Where if a did anything such as swinging a sword or blocking then pressed w+w to sprint it would cancel any need to accelerate into full speed to run. Basically meaning that players could escape most combos by just literally walking out of it. I was against it and eventually brought it up to the devs a few times to a point it did become baned. They didn't bother to fix it they just baned it :/. On the contrary there is actual tech in that game that was not just glitch abuse. Such as block tech which allowed you to while in moments where you where in neutral to block and counter with another move in order to avoid a combo. This when paired with breathing tech allowed people to regenerate their breathing bar by constantly pressing the breathing button during a combo so that it could Regen while you are about to start something else. Tech is a difficult word to define so i feel like instead of launching a assault on people who use glitches we better define what tech is. Because knowing how the internet is there are going to be players who are actually playing the game fairly being labeled cheaters for probably just being better.
Tbh, another part I feel makes a huge part, is that of it being hard to report bugs, and glitches if you do find some, since for Aut, the bug chat in the discord is most time locked, and in general, is kinda hard to document, and put into a well formed post, if you didn’t take a video, or don’t fully know how to import roblox videos into RU-vid, which requires you to have, or willing to use an account, as well as the google doc requiring you to use a yt link, which tbh is just a hassle, especially if your a 10 yr old... as well as processing time for testers to have to read through, and evaluate all of the posts...
Man, I remember the terrible move stacking that was going in YBA back then. I’d see SPTW or TH users w/pluck immediately barrage while using Instant Slash just to do insane damage. It also didn’t help that some of the people I fought in 1v1s were using M1s while using a barrage. Those were crazy times.
It's the same with Black Magic 2, another well made fighting game on roblox. People using jump buffer unironically when the devs literally tried to patch it, and they succeeded mostly, however you can still do it just not reliably.
For freely Time Stopping Stands, you’re able to use Time Skip in TS by pressing your Time Stop key then whilst the animation is taking place, you press your Time Skip key and you do a Time Skip as the Time Stop has visually started. This also applies to moves with like a bit of startup so even if you weren’t able to use Skull Crusher in Time Stop anymore, you could still use Time Stop and Skull Crusher at the same time. Edit: This actually also applies to Rage Required Time Stop Stands; accidentally did it with TW: AU by pressing Z twice.
Honestly, Pierce Strike's hitbox is just really disjointed. As someone who's been using Pluck for over a year now, Pluck really just need a rework, actually no, rework every spec.
More than half the stands/specs in aut have at least one move, usually time stop or an ultimate that has half or less than have of the shown cool down. For example, twhv cutscene, it only had about half of the actual shown cool down.
Ngl I agree with you immensely. This is a huge Roblox thing that happens in every pvp Roblox and it threatens to pretty much make the game unfair to those who don’t cheat and basically force them to do the same thing basically making cheating a community thing, i.e. animation canceling in Rogue Lineage, which pretty much is now considered necessary to “properly” use certain classes. So I’m glad I’m not the only one because it seemed everyone wanted to make it seem a “skill issue”.
Eclipse, I completely agree with your statements and those who say that it's a "hidden tech" that was "intended" by the devs clearly don't realise how blatant and obvious it is that they are cheating. I have multiple games with the same situation and no one ever does anything about it. I've tried reporting it but no one cares about it at all, other than those with a functioning brain.
Not to mention the ABA community with ladders and animation cancels. Par literally confirmed ladder combos were bugs but he just decided not to fix it to add more skill to the game.

wavedashing was intended and was confirmed by sakurai himself talking about how luigi could slide through the whole stage way back when ken was starting to dominate the 04-06, just wanted to point that out.
Literally almost every single "tech" in most fighting games or at least the ones that have been shown to other people in Yt are mostly glitches, you can see alot of "new aba tech" as well, since anyone who knows "hidden techs" is either just gonna keep it to themselves for free wins or to avoid it getting patched or if they wanted to; for free views, anyways my point is if it's a tech that is op as fuck and can one shot your opponent maybe maybe maybe just maybe it's a glitch? Idk man looks fair and balanced to me
The grind for Mih in yba was absolute hell. Towards the end of the grind there were exploiters in every other server and always a team of like 9 people at the end. Especially the Mr and Twoh users were the most annoying
Another Exapmle I can find is Aut's Planet shaper move stacking. And while abd is dead, I still find people that use the glitch of using barrage before stopping time so the cd goes off in ts and you can barrage in ts. Mind you barragin in ts was removed as stands like twoh and sp could instakill in ts.
In GPO, theres a ‘tech’ where you can Soru(gives you a speedboost+invis for a split second to make it look like a tp) + m1s or a special move that already gives you a speedboost in the first place. This simple tech added alot more variety in combos and ways to approach, while not being stupidly gamebreaking. I think ‘techs’ like this is fine to use and adds more nuance to the game
Just a fun tip, if you do block break someone, it’s almost a guaranteed road roller hit. It’s especially helpful if someone gets their block broken on a kick barrage
Some dude in a server was saying "Max ora kicks are still easy to parry :/" and was saying a bunch of other things were easy to parry but in a 1v1 he was actually really bad and barraged first always and did barrage finisher after 2 clicks and (he was using cmoon hamon) man was all talk no walk
Every sbr i play i run into at least 3 speed hackers, essentially impossible to get all the corpse parts now. We seriously need a better way to fix these problems

But exploiters could just have made in heaven to exploit freely, they could merge the two ideas but yours with a little more line between speeds
ABA mods and leaderboard players use it. If not its like a main part of the game now. I don’t know why Eclipse is trying to say all of the anime fighting games should not allow this.
@@jepp1835 I don’t think that’s what he was saying. ABA’s version barely does anything these days because of the lack of endlag on m1s, stacking makes a few moves work after slamming them down. Other games have very different conditions. Like imagine fighting a Gon except he teleports to you and uses a version of Rock that GBs and he can combo Rock into Scissors. That’s how bad it was in YBA.

@Eclipse I think the reason why people think like this is because certain games are like this like ABA on roblox hit stacking so a genuine tech to combo it's been in the game since launch and super smash bros melee had things like wave dashing or Mk x crystalline tremors 50/50 option would miss if in the corner and people would go for a punish when they shouldn't be able to this happened in a professional tournament

The only thing I find wrong with this argument is that the very meaning of a tech is a glitch. A tech is a technique or glitch that the developers decide to leave in for multiple reasons. For Shadow Dio I thought the only movestack was High Kick and Jab which seemed fair to me as it took timing and really just guaranteed you could combo extend rather than leaving it up to the server. You can call a glitch a tech but you should always try and tell everyone you can so that the community learns from it and if the devs decide it's unfair then they can patch it. My problem with roblox techs is that people try to hide them not the fact that they abuse them
I come from a community where movestacking is a universal part of playing the game, techs are practically a part of how you should play and if you don't movestack, you will die.
SBR always had hackers, but i was lucky enough to try to get all cps when there weren't really many of them, pro tip on trying to win SBR is using sticky fingers since zipper glide turns you into lighting mcqueen
I generally call a bug a “tech” if it can be used in combat, since AUTs meta pretty much revolves around bugs… planet shaper is literally only somewhat mediocre because of bugs. Before, planet shaper could movestack with its v move because of an oversight in coding that caused it to be usable at any point during startup/endlag. Now its only good because… you guessed it, still a bug with the v move… the v move can hit an opponent 2-3 times, causing it to do 60 damage. This gets even more ridiculous once consider the full block bar is 100, and that this move has no startup. The most damaging move in the game is Ger beat down, does 120 damage… half a ger beatdown, with no startup, and it combo extends and has a massive hitbox… did i forget to mention those last two? If this was intentional, this is bad balance.
also there is a thing you can do with shadow dio to extend your combo which is bloodsuck and then spam m1s and then you catch them to combo them for more dmg
@@Salheeeel6 aba 100-0s are actually hard to do (for some characters) and are intended for most characters if you can land m1s without using any moves.
@@EclipseGameplays Yes, it is. It provides a different in skill gap since knowing how to animation cancel some moves and combo with the mechanic has never been patched. One time where they did have a "move stacking" bug was when you could stack left clicks with tp moved very easily to get unshieldable teleports which then lead to free shield break combos. It's been somewhat fixed for many characters though as it was an unintended bug.
I have to disagree with you here, techs are what make games fun just look at csgo bunny hopping or smash bros wavedashing. Sure "techs" like blatant immunity and stuff are bad. Also movestacking is present in a multitude of fighting games as an example anime battle arena has move stacking and its fine.
People are using the term to legitimize their blatant cheats. If you're going to tell me it's fair to use an erasure during a barrage because it's a "Hidden Tech" that's fucking ridiculous
Basically my exact view on this topic. It's better to look at it case by case than as a whole because in a lot of other games, there are features that started out as bugs.

I love how yba is like roblox moderation where the system cannot even ban exploiters but bans innocent people and that includes me, mobile users that lagged and the game thought they teleported Lol it truly needs a big change
This is one of the OG bug's that was acually there for a very long time maybe for more than 4-5 months(or maybe less) im not really sure but it was there for a long time
I highly doubt this will gain any traction, however I feel as if you misunderstand the definition of "tech", usually in fighting games, tech refers to a "technique" or "technical" action. And with some examples, we see that most, if not all of the examples explained in the videos is an example of tech. First, tech was used to describe cancelling a moves endlag, or bypassing the endlag of a move with another in street fighter, which is the exact premise of movestacking. You could bring up "well, even if it qualifies as tech, it doesn't dispute it not being intended by the developers, or it's a bug" and to that, I bring up wavedashing. Wavedashing in melee was a movement "tech" that was not intended by the devs, and was widely considered "tech" by everyone in the community and even brought more attention to the word, and if we see later installments of smash, we see a lack of wavedashing... because they patched it out, and it's still to this day considered the biggest example of "tech" even without its presence in recent installments. Just because it's a bug, not intended by the developers, or has been, or is being patched out of the game, does not mean its not tech. It really upsets me, who is so closely connecting to fighting games seeing you taint the word that refers to some of the coolest, and most interesting things in fighting games, relating it to terms like "cheating" or "bug abusing". Most of the people who watch your videos take what you say as fact, so now a large portion of roblox fighting game players will relate the word to much more malicious examples.
I do remember when I went to 1v1s in yba and when the game starts, some how I'm at the the waiting area which might be a glitch if I'm join when the round already started.
Another move stack in AUT was the P//S using wing slash in barrage allowing you to use other moves while your still using barrage, this could also be done with P//S’s y move too (this has been patched tho)
I remember using sptw bd on kqbtd when they activated btd which would cause a glitch making my character model locked to where i time skip to and me invisible and people basically saw a pilot sptw. I reported it of course and only used it to confuse people but I’m still unsure if it’s patched.
