This movie is incredibly dangerous. I mean what does the movie tell young people who watch it: you can treat women how you want and they like it, having sex is ok at any age, etc. "Date your 5 year old cousin if you want to" is truly disturbing and disgusting. this is offensive to men, women, nerds, and popular people. literally EVERY plot point in this movie is based off of a really negative cliche. nerds aren't wimpy, popular people aren't inherently mean or lustful. men don't want only sex, some are really serious about commitment and try their best, and some women objectify men. idk what the writer thought but, believe it or not, some women are only in relationships for sex as well. idk why it's hard to grasp that being a certain gender doesn't subject you to a certain feeling about relationships. everybody thinks differently, regardless of gender or clique, and it's really puke-inducing to acknowledge that there's a movie that shoots that fact down, targeted towards teenagers.
