I made a band in The Sims 3 but they turned weird 

Hang on, there are band opportunities?!

I swear bands are cursed in my game. I basically never get band opportunities, and even with the mod Ryan used in this video, my sims would always fail their auditions no matter the location, while having 6+ instrument skill levels. I even tried another mod that supposedly increases the chance to receive a band phone call, but that didn't change anything either. Now I just force band opportunities with Nraas and even then it's not always working and it's less fun compared to getting opportunities at random or actually having to audtion.

The most realistic thing about Sims 3 tbh. It has nothing to do with skill; it’s much more about luck

@@LexkrabYeah, it’s NRAAS Overwatch, which is a very popular mod that makes the game faster and more stable. I think the game has a memory leak where vehicles spawned for NPC travel aren’t removed from memory when they’re removed from sight, which gradually causes the game to slow to a crawl and potentially crash. The Overwatch mod takes care of that and some other things that can cause similar problems if left unattended indefinitely. You can turn off the notifications, but it can cause a second or three of lag, and it’s nice to know it was for a good cause. It’s also kind of satisfying somehow to see it report what it took care of for you. I wouldn’t run the game without it.

Try downloading the Alder Lake Patch! Just search “lazydutchess intel alder lake patch” and it should launch without needing the launcher. Let me know if that gets it running for you too ☺️
