I did one too with my last baby. It was a fun project. I am a procrastinator too. I waited like a couple days before giving birth for maternity pictures lol.

The cast turned out amazing, never knew there was a do it yourself one I always thought people hired someone to do them lol but now I want to do this with my hubby lol and didn't know about the membrane stripping and from what I read sounds way better than going the other routes to induce labor lol and of course Jalen is too cute as always lol! My mom has her belly cast for my bros and she has all of them in garage with their name on it. Royce has to put it on and wear for a day.

I took belly casts 2 of them and 15 years later I git them painted.

I just keep it in the closet until I figure out how I want to decorate and I keep it as a milestone after I make it waterproof and hard to break

You can paint it camouflaged.. or something you guys love, stars, the sun.. your higher power… I’ll have to show pictures that I have done…

I cannot express how important the Vaseline is either I just did one of these and freaked out when my boyf tried to take it off. My belly has never been so hairless in my whole life we had to use the shower to get it off in the end 😭
