Nick is not all talk, he brings the TALENT. The KNOWLEDGE. The EXPERIENCE. The WORK. A true icon. Also just wanna add, I feel like Gabbie is genuinely talented, I just wish she was a better person lol and accepted any criticism
Exactly lmao. If I just found her music and didn't know anything about her I'd probably be an actual fan. Too bad she sucks so much as a person to the point that's past my moral limit.
This is so accurate omg. I usually don’t even listen to that type of music but I actually liked the snippets I heard in this vid but still not gonna listen and support her cuz of everything she’s done
Nick said, “oh people criticize commentary channels for being all talk? Baby I recorded my own VOCALS for this remade music video.” Love the effort and the process 💋
@@josephstjohn5840 Well the 1,800+ comments disagree then the likes are exponentially higher so much that I can't count and the comments on the comments his subscribers etc.... PLUS I've been on RU-vid since the beginning & I've NEVER read a comment section with a group of people that are more interesting, intelligent, and on topic (not trolls) than Nicks Subscriber's, it's surreal‼️So I disagree with your comment.
@@josephstjohn5840 he’s not the best singer but he also seemed very self-aware of that. I liked that he used his voice rather than just lip syncing to her or something, but I also think the visuals and the creative process were the main thing he was demonstrating to viewers and he did that wonderfully imo
Holy hell, you are so legitimately talented, Nick. I don’t even think you realize how rare you are. How many people out there can do lighting, camerawork, editing, makeup, staging, art direction, etc etc at a professional level?? I know there are some people out there that can do it all, but they are so very few and far between. Film school can only take you so far- talent and creativity really allow you to make a big impact. You were born to make films, my guy. I hope we see at least see more of it from you soon!
Gabbie really took, "I walk the boulevard of broken dreams" and was like, "I walk the boulevard of broken... hearts- yeah yeah hearts, that'll surely avoid having to give Green Day writing credits." Brilliant honestly. Also it's really bothering me that the green of those drapes and the green of the wall don't match. I know that's a weird gripe it's just distracting. I honestly can't wait for more clip makedowns Nick, this was so fun! The technical ability and sheer work you put into this 🖤
@@amelia3146 Honestly if she's gonna steal, at least make it a pun: I walk the boulevard of broken souls in stolen shoes. It has fun word play, makes much more sense than freaking hearts, AND it's kinda funny. You could even interpret it that she's stolen someone's body/identity (like what she did with Green Day) since a sole wears a shoe, while a soul wears a body.
Adoring that you shed light on drug addiction in almost positive and unjudgemental way. As a fellow addict, it's so nice to hear about someone who has gotten out of that life but can also admit it's always going to be a ugly demon in the back of your closet, which doesn't have to be a bad thing.. Love you Hun 😇
If anything, I hope Gabbie takes the criticism into consideration because you're literally explaining how she can do something similar in her videos rather than the same repetitive weird dances she does. Also your music video was great!! I love it. THATS how you do a music video with that genre of music :)
U know she's gonna find a way to victimize herself and try to use the contrived controversy to push her stats! That's the only other dance she knows, lol
Apparently miss gabbi can’t take criticism well. I remember watching through honest (a RU-vidr) reviewing and criticizing Gabbi’s song, monster and another one of her songs. She respond to him on twitter and as expected, she didn’t take it well.
It’s incredible that you have such a solid understanding of all the elements here: lighting, angles, props, planning, makeup, and STORY TELLING! I would love to see what you could have done with weeks of time on something like this. The story telling here is perfectly simple and on point.
So brilliant at such a young age even if they went to film school so many ppl graduate college & have to start at a basic level but the knowledge of production, writing, lighting, makeup, I can't even list everything that he's qualified in‼️
First of all, the hard work and skill this so obviously took us jaw dropping. We are so spoiled by you! Extremely well done. Second, if I may offer my unneeded and unsolicited opinion as a professional video editor for the past 8 years: your visuals are seriously so good, it was a shame that there wasn’t just a little bit more breathing room between clips. Rapid editing is awesome but I would save it for the high points of the song with a lot of that hard drumming and just edit with the beat a little more slowly so we can register what we’re looking at. Also, the hate I feel at myself right now for really liking a Gabbie Hanna song - ugh lol
I actually really liked the fast pace rapid clips. Totally see where you’re coming from though!! But I was seriously hooked. I feel like we got a visual representation of someone’s mental health *rapidly* deteriorating. It was almost anxiety inducing in the best way, like when you’re watching a scary movie and your adrenaline starts to spiked. I think it matched the chaotic feelings behind the song in my opinion. But that’s why I love art, it’s subjective:)
I was thinking of that Radiohead (?) video, I think I might be wrong, in which the guy just dances in black and white as a continuous shot. It was good because the set design was ultra simple and the visual quality was great and all you could do was to take in the emotions from the dance. But it's lost when the emotions are overamplified to the point of caricature and there's too much going on visually, imo.
Tbh this song she made sounds like old school upcoming alt artists. She could have done a much better video. Nick did great. The fridge clips reminded me of myspace aesthetics.
For real. I literally compared it to early 2000 buttrock (in the vein of Hinder) mixed with a bit of pop punk. I just don’t like it. And I don’t think she’s concocted an “updated” enough sound to make it…NOT sound like old school rather than an homage/remix of old school influences.
Gabby will never create anything as raw as she wants it to be because she cannot commit to this level of mess. She stops at streaky eyeliner and will never convey the desperate vulnerability of lying on your kitchen floor while icecream drips out of your fridge
So true. Her lyrics sometimes, and I mean barely, hit a nice level of raw honesty but she's never willing to follow through with it in other areas like the music videos. She's afraid to commit to those feelings because they're not desireable or pretty and that's how she's desperate to be viewed.
I spilled a little coffee in my fridge last week and the anxiety of having to take everything out and clean it has been killing me. Watching this video was like exposure therapy XD
I am hoping that Gabbie can and will appreciate the fact that you see and hear all THIS through HER song. This is not only educational, it's almost a homage to her lyrics. You did phenomenal Nick. I love you
Yeah this is one of my biggest issues with her (Other than like everything else about her, her actions, who she is as a person…yeah basically I don’t like her…) anyway, despite how much I dislike her, a lot of her stuff actually has a lot of potential. Her songs, her music videos, not really her poetry, her art kinda. Like it’s all fine. Sometimes there’s some actually really great ideas in there but I think she thinks that’s enough. So she just half asses everything. Like if she actually put in the time and the effort to POLISH all these things and perfect them, she might actually be successful for her art and not for being a click bait drama ‘influencer’
So true! The interview between her and Perez was so disappointing. She didn’t even try to learn anything or self reflect. She just reflects everyone else and doesn’t turn the mirror on herself. Now there’s a concept for her next video! It’ll be better than her weird b-rated Groucho Marx impression.
Not only did Nick have to remix a cover, rewrite, and reshoot a music video, they had to shoot footage for this video as well. Holy hotdog that’s a lot of work. I really appreciate the commitment to art and educating us on your process! It’s inspiring! Thank you for doing the most because I’ve learned so much, and I cherish the knowledge!!!! ❤️
That music video was visually astounding-I especially loved the scene where you threw the chair against the mattress followed by a slow motion scene of the legs breaking. The one critique would be the quality of the audio, BUT considering you were working with someone else’s track and trying to turn down the volume of the original singer, it’s really impressive You’re so talented, thank you for taking the time to walk us through the process! It’s really inspiring
I can't tell if Nick was making a joke by calling Panic! at the Disco MCR or not but either way it made me laugh. Also, I'd love more videos like this. As a film maker myself, I love seeing how other people go through the process and I loved Nick's commentary and what he was doing and why. The end product had a few flaws but for being done in 24 hours as a one man production, it was pretty damn good.
literally came to the comments JUST to bring that up, bc I legit choked a bit when they said "I CHIMED IN". This kinda misinformation wouldve been fighting words back in my early teens, Nick absolutely wants to spark said fight 😂
See the difference here is: you put in real effort, not because you'll make big money but for the sake of what you connect from it. Meanwhile GH has been writing the same words in different font for years and has long since abandoned emotional connection for the sake of a quick RU-vid buck. She's gunning for low effort big return, but at this point her behavior and how she treats people doesn't add up to the words she writes; It's almost uncanny valley level. The effort you put into this is visible. For a 24 hour production it's amazing! You visualized the concept incredibly well, it's obvious that you put so much of yourself and your own experiences into it. If you didn't say you did it by yourself in 24 hours I would have never known.
the problem is GH is not nearly as creative or talented as she thinks she is. which is… fine. most artists aren’t geniuses even if they do have some potential. if everyone was BRILLIANT it wouldn’t be cool to be an artist. the thing is the ones who are just slightly above average are usually aware of it and do the best they can + know how to market themselves. they aren’t trying to be perceived as some sort of artistic visionary like GH. for example - bella porch. she’s a mediocre singer but she plays to her strengths. she hired professionals and actually LISTENED to them. people who actually know what they’re doing and have good ideas and more importantly know how to execute those ideas. the result? well produced, professional looking music videos with original-ish concepts, catchy tunes that lend to her vocals, and in turn a generally positive reception from the public. she doesn’t try to sing above what she’s capable of. she doesn’t try to be something she’s not. unfortunately GH hasn’t figured out that she isn’t the next freddy mercury and that’s where it gets embarrassing. if she wasn’t so painfully unaware of her own weaknesses and restrictions as a newer, independent artist, she could actually have some improvement. she could embrace the whole home-grown, self-made youtuber turned rockstar angle but without being so pretentious and self absorbed. an OUNCE of humility goes a long way. great video nick! there was lots of thoughtful, genuine feedback that GH could learn from. unfortunately she’s a narcissist who can’t take criticism - because she doesn’t think she needs it. 🙄
Gabby H a rockstar? Seriously she has more rocks in her head than in her music. Sorry, I couldn't resist. Joking aside, she really hasn't a great deal of talent, to me she's trying to be artistic and unique, unfortunately many actually talented artists have done this pop genre many years ago. Her songs/ lyrics are stale and underwhelming. Your comment here really hit a lot of excellent points.x
Gabbie Hanna is actually really talented her songs are really good and this one is probably the best so far. Problem is her videos lack creativity and it makes me think she really only puts effort in the music and thinks that's enough. Sadly it's not and it doesn't make her work seem professional which downplays her talent. And personality wise she def needs to work on that....cuz it's really off putting.
I don't know why but The first line of her song immediately brought Green day's boulevard of broken dreams to my mind and then I wish I was listening to the latter instead of hers. Even though I wouldn't go out of my way to listen her songs. I'm only here because it's Nick's video. Sure, she is not a bad singer but everything she has done and who she is have totally ruined her music for me. I find it hard to separate arts from artists thus I usually don't keep up with my favourite artists apart from their new releases so I can enjoy their music freely. But then we have those artists that choose to be well known and stay relevant through controversies instead of their arts and well most of them aren't that great of an artist.
I have no knowledge of Gabby Hanna beyond what Nick has said and what I heard from SmokeyGlow in her recent video about Gabby. but I couldn’t agree with you more. Gabby’s problem is Gabby aka she thinks she’s far more talented than she is and that her talent is far more well-rounded than it actually is. She clearly isn’t a director, videographer, choreographer, stylist, makeup artist, or hair stylist and despite the fact that she must have a lot of experience editing RU-vid and TikTok videos, she is not a good editor. After watching clips from her Red Table Talk, it’s clear she cannot take any criticism and has fully embraced the grandiose image she has of herself as a Talent with a capital T. Even with the little I know of her, she comes of as a narcissist. Whether she was born that way or it is a product of her career, I can’t say, but it’s going be the reason her career ends if she can’t get a grip on what her actual skill set is and hire people to do the rest. Her video looks like something a random, inexpierneced high schooler would make one weekend.
@@krisl6537 I think she believes she is capable of making a great music video and that she’s more than capable of doing all the jobs - stylist, hair and makeup, choreography, videographer, concept, editing, and directing. She doesn’t need to do a music video-it’s not like videos are as mandatory as they were during the TRL days- but she did and even though it's awful, she put it out anyway. As I said above, I don’t follow her and know very little about her but it’s clear to me that she’s her own worst enemy at this point. She can’t take ANY criticism and her Red Table Talk behavior was pure narcissist. Putting out no video would be better than the mess she put out as it lacks creativity, professionalism, a storyline, thought, and interest. It doesn’t have anything to do with the song and yet there she is in some weird-but not weird enough to be cool- makeup and bad hair doing ridiculously baaaaad, repetitive dance moves for 3 minutes for no apparent reason except she thinks she’s brilliant and that the video is edgy and cool.
Hey I just want you to know that it is really nice to hear someone talk about addiction without making it sound like it's a death sentence. I have had an on and off again relationship with abusing alcohol since I was 21. Currently sober for a week which feels good. Thanks for talking about how hard it is to start again I needed to hear that right now. Nice to know I'm not the only one.
She reminds me of a woman that went to community theatre school as a kid, and now teaches the 5 to 12 year olds, and thinks she's cutting edge. It's embarrassing.
I like how she explained that she stopped going by The Gabbie Show because she said it was like "welcome to the circus" and then she literally became a whole clown
This whole video felt like when you have had a friend for ages and you are used to hanging out and having a great time with them and then one day you just happen to stop by their work and see them absolutely killing it at their job and suddenly you see them in a whole new light and feel a new sense of pride and respect for your old friend. Like honestly this entire thing was a tiny bit intimidating to witness!
I love this because it proves Nick KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT. Your version of the song gave me absolute chills, entirely based on the visuals. I actually appreciated the coolness of the song in a way I absolutely didn't with Gabbie's, because I got bored and second hand embarrassed and never finished her version. More Clip Make-Downs! You were always so good at describing what artists could've done differently but seeing you follow through on that potential is next level shit.
I totally get why Nick blurred the label on the coffee, it usually says the Starbucks location you went to or will have your address if they deliver in your area. BUT - now I’m like super stressed because I want to read what the order was purely because the blur didn’t let me 😅 Edit: I’m also living for the Mesh hoodie, it serves Kylie Minogue - out of my head vibes
Nick spent more time and effort making a parody music video than gabbie spent on her entire music career. She seriously needs to hire some sort of editor or SOMETHING
I love the fast edits and chaotic energy. It mimics what addicted life feels like. When it got to the only fans portion, where you took control... OMG, goosebumps. This was really beautiful Nick. As a recovered addict, I see you.xo
I didn't expect to be as interested in this concept as I was. I'd definitely be down to see you do something like this again, but only if it's something you're passionate about recreating.
I'm a future film maker entering a phase of doubt in getting into film schools, and this stand out video really instilled the amount of work I'm willing to put into the craft. Thankyouthankyouthankyou for helping me find that fire again. I'd love to see more BTS mini productions like this one from you
I feel that she's about 15 years too late with the grunge, nobody understands me vibe she has in the video. That's normally something you see teens do in middle/high school. Why a girl in her 30s is now doing it idk.
OMG I LOVE THAT YOU DECIDED TO DO THIS!!!! GH's "visualizer" was such a sad and lazy pairing to a song she clearly put effort into and it was really frustrating! She clearly thinks money is required for producing art when frankly anyone with money can make art the rlly impressive part is when u can do it without money!
Rewired is actually legit very good and her voice works super well with that post-grunge/alt-rock vibe but gotdamn, the "official visualizer" is awful af for no reason.
I need more of this. Musical analysis, a thorough behind the scenes feature, breakdown of the creative process, and then a completely original piece of art. God-damn ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was really astonishingly good. I love how you pull real themes out of the lyrics instead of just 2 minutes of brainstorming what seems cool (like it seems the vast majority of video makers do). And I love how you explain your entire thought and creative process. Actual meaning to the art? Who'd've thunk it? Really good work!
Ohhhhh you're totally right. I was never super into Paramore but I always thought that was a really good song, so now I feel less bad about myself for liking Gabbie's song lol 😂
Wow, this looked like it should have taken waaaay longer.. Honestly, I think you should do more of these make downs. It's different than anything I've seen, and it looked like you enjoyed doing it, which is the most important ❤. Love seeing your creativity come out in an awesome way
I had to rewatch this cause I NEEDED Nick and there's no new Nick. I'm again blown away by the video he made in 24 hours. I'm not a fan of Gabbie anyway, but, it's insulting how little effort she puts into her work. Nick gave me Panic at the Disco vibes while Gabbie only brought grounded to my room in middle school vibes
This is the most creative and wonderful concept for a content change up. And I’m HERE for it. Nick, you’re so skilled and talented and creative! I learn so much from you. One day, imma make a short film. One day, and I feel like you’ve taught me so much, just even in this video alone. Thank you, Nick. Also, fantastic makeup!
What I understand from the visualizer trend, is that it's usually just an aesthetically pleasing image or loop animation, maybe some text, like in-between the lyric video and the official video clip. Often, it could be the band's/artist's logo or a clue to what the real video concept will be. Gabbie's is neither? It seems like just a botched videoclip, cause it's not aesthetic enough for the "visualizer" concept, it's too much and too little at the same time. Not to piss on her parade. Just to clarify what the possible distinction between a videoclip and a visualizer might be.
I love the way you talked us through the themes and how they were visualized, I’m in school for theatre production and we talk a lot about that so it’s sick to see it actually applied
I’m going thru some shitty personal things and you making this video talking about being vulnerable and making mistakes just seems like a sign today. You’re the best nick! Please never stop making content
This is AMAZING, Nick. Srsly, by far one of my favorite things I’ve seen on YT *as a whole in ages*! PLEASE consider doing more, though I can see this was a lot of planning and time; this is the COOLEST thing I’ve seen from you and I’ve watched aalll your stuff. I think. Even The Barbie gameplay. Be well, keep inspiring us and if I meet ya, I’ll bring you some Bubly water (?), a chocolate orange and Jennifer Coolidge will pop pot of a cake for you...holding an ALOE. Mwah 😘from Angie in N. California
thank you so much for this incredibly kind comment 😭 it truly makes my heart sing! chocolate oranges, bubly, and JC sounds like such a vibe!!! ❤️ sending all my love
Everyone else has already gone over and above what I wanted to say about the genius of this "makeover" concept, the conception, and amazing results, so I'll just add my random two cents - I have genuinely never laughed so hard as when you were describing how to make yourself look like you've been crying for hours and then your doorbell rang!! I literally choked on my coffee and had to pause the video to recover, the timing couldn't have been better!! LOL EDIT: Holy hell, I made this comment only halfway through the video and was NOT prepared for the feelz I'd feel seeing you tied up in a chair....I know you don't swing my way, Nick darling, but DAYUM! Please know that I appreciate the shot in relation to the video but seeing it completely out of context caught me completely by surprise, whew!
I'm honestly really enjoying the video make-down. I like how you're showing your process of creating and the artistic choices for your version of the video. You should do this more.
This was so helpful. I want to make short films, but I've always been intimidated by the sheer scale of any project. Watching your process was incredibly helpful and encouraging. And I don't don't know who Gabby is but I dig the song and your visuals! Thank-you for this.
your harmonizing vocals gave me chills, holy s***. that with the extra layer of drums made the song feel a lot more powerful. loved the breakdown of your process too!
Me: “Gabbie’s not great, but I always love her green wall. It’s so pretty!” Nick: “2018 wants their wall back, honey.” Me: “Such a bad choice, who would choose that wall.”
A lot of these introspective themes, especially related to being stuck inside the house or your performative career, remind me of Bo Burnham’s special Inside!! And both of you are insanely multitalented one-person-shows with lighting, direction, editing, etc. 😊 So glad I discovered your content ❤️
Every time Gabbie insinuates putting a gun to her head with a smile on her face makes me physically ill. That isn’t “artistic”, it’s disgusting, and insensitive. Aside from that, I absolutely LOVE this video! Ive never been musically or artistically inclined, so I am so intrigued by you explaining your process and why you made the decisions you did. ❤️
im so glad someone pointed this out. i’m someone who lost an immediate family member by eating a bullet and seeing “artistic” gun-to-head stuff is so disgusting and disturbing.
Nick said so many times in clip breakdowns that you can make well thought out and impactful media with no budget. He showed that he can write, set, film, and edit an entire music video in what...a day? Plus the editing for the whole video was so good. Really outdid himself with this one.
I’d really like to see you do this with more music videos. This video was very educational about planning a music video on a budget and the creative process
Sweet Nick, you are beautiful, inside and out. I am also a recovered addict. I've been clean for 11 years now! I always love how open and funny you are about your struggles. Thank you for your honesty, insight and humor. And I love the makeup looks in this video! You are stunning!!
Can't believe you made me like a Gabbie Hanna song haha Really cool to see the effort and technical know-how that went into this! I also love how detailed you were in explaining your thought-process. Really inspiring and the final music video is fantastic!
I virtually finished my BFA a year ago and this clip make down gives me necessary nostalgia for those performance art classes that I miss dearly. Major inspo, thanks Nick!
Honestly this was one of the best videos I’ve ever watched. I like that you kept it fun and still tell us a little something about filmmaking at the same time. And honestly you’re just somebody who just seems like a lot of fun to be hanging out with, like you’re the cool kid everyone wants to sit with at lunch
I love what you've created, it's amazing. I do though wish you wouldn't promote her work telling people to go stream it. She's done too many horrid cruel things without any remorse to deserve praise at this point. Personal opinion. Either way, you're very skilled and made an impressive video!
I swear to God you already entertain & make me laugh every week but seriously it’s moments like these that I am reminded that you have a genuinely great eye and talent for cinematography! As someone else that studied to be an actor and director I can’t help but do the same thing you do and troubleshoot what went wrong when faced with a subpar finished project by others! It’s all about CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, pointing to what is wrong and spitballing ways to improve, not JUST pissing on a thing that is bad. PS: I could spend hours upon hours imagining what scenario we are witnessing here 25:53 and what is going through your head!? lol
COME THROUGH, TALENT!!!!! You’re so intelligent and you know exactly how to apply your knowledge and it’s stunning!!! Thank you for sharing your talent and your humor with us!!! Love you!!!!!!
A good way to cover your store number in the future instead of blurring it could be a merch design sticker. Saves the work blurring and plugs the merch 💛
I just don't understand why gabbie puts so little effort into her music videos if her music is what she's really passionate about like,,,she's rich lol I would kill to have the resources and connections she has and there's definitely a lot of other artists like me who would do the same. Like why put so much effort into writing and producing a good track and then make the video that goes along with it be cringey tiktok quality 😭
@@EllieBellie_111 i mean i get that but then why even make a video in the first place?? Especially one so obviously half assed. It just ends up distracting from the actually decent song cause it’s hard to take it seriously with a video like that
Watching your entire process was such a treat as an artist myself. It's always fascinating and amazing to see brilliant minds at work! I don't know why, but you talking about using freezerburnt blueberries made me laugh so hard. It just caught me off. I loved seeing the passion, the dedication, and just the time and effort you put into not only making this but sharing it with us. Art creation can be so personal and I'm glad you trust your audience to see it :>
Everytime I think I’ve seen the best video by you, you come out with another masterpiece! 😍 this 24 video you did, showing us the behind the scenes, talking about the vision, and showing the video was awesome! Honestly, I’d watch any video you make! ❤❤
Oh my lanta I’m so excited for this makedown. I also hope gabby sees it and actually elevates her content but, we know that won’t happen. Edit: Nick, that blue eye look is f*cking SERVING honey!
This is such an incredible insight into the creative process and the filmmaking process. As a film student, I especially love your discussion about the production design because that's an area that I feel I need to develop. I hope you keep doing more clip makedowns because this video is epic!
Fantastic, flawless, perfect. I hope Gabby doesn't try to like sue you or something. This was really fun to watch, I'd love to see more like this (but probably not in 24 hours so you can sleep)!
I hated the shit out of a hunter green wall due to being an apartment renter as opposed to a home owner... the hunter green offends me cause ever rip off artist uses this color to make you feel less horrible about how ghetto your $1200 a month apt is 😭
I seriously didn’t like this song, even after listening to it multiple times. Who knew all I needed was this excellent visualizer to change my mind! Well done✨💕
Nick covered in food reminds me of the most thrilling, most exciting, most unforgettable sensory moment in my life. It was after a college stunt where we were covered in instant mashed potatoes, and a real fire truck came and aimed a firehose in the air above us and me and dozens of friends got “cleaned up” dancing in the most soaking shower ever. The water pouring down from the fire hose was so dense it was literally impossible to see. We danced and hugged and squealed and it was so surreal and joyful. And washed the mashed potatoes away. I wonder if you can still arrange for fire trucks to come do that. Probably not. This was even just a year post-9/11 when we did it. I can’t believe we used city resources like that, as I look in retrospect. Also, there’s that dark history of firehoses being aimed painfully full-blast right at peaceful protesters. But here, instead of turning hoses on people in violence, the HFD came out and did something fun with the community. I’ve had happier moments, like my wedding, of course, or quiet or hilarious moments with my family, of course. But my gosh, I don’t think anything will top how uniquely exhilarating that was. Nick, I wish I could’ve arranged something like that for you to clean up after. I keep trying to find words: the most primal, cathartic, euphoric literal and symbolic cleaning I’ll ever have, especially because it was with friends.
