Today I'm recreating a $700 Pinterest wedding cake for cheap! This cake is only my second ever DIY wedding cake I've made. I'm trying to get some practice because I want to make my sister's wedding cake on her special day. Let me know what you think about this homemade version of a Pinterest wedding cake!

Did you put straws in the 2 bottom layers to support the whole stack? By the way I have made many wedding cakes and never used syrup on the layers. My cakes were moist because they drew moisture from the icing and I never over baked them.
