I built a HUGE Warhammer fortress to play Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game! These 3D printed files from the Printing Goes Ever On are a fantastic representation of Minas Tirith from the Lord of the Rings and are perfect for playing Middle Earth SBG.

Nice video. As someone who has a small portion of time I can dedicate to hobbying too I like the videos you put out for premade/3d printed terrain. Helps me see alternative to homemade stuff or just dream of what I could have some day. And regarding the choice of video, I have an idea. Probably a super niche idea tho. Why not try to sci-fi some MESBG minis or the opposite, fantasying sci-fi minis ? Like all those images you can find online of Aragorn with a lightsaber or Darth Vader in a medieval style armor. That being said, any vid' you'll put out I'll watch 'cuz I really enjoy watching your content.

Ah thanks man! Your comments on videos always brighten my day! 3D printing can definitely increase your hobby productivity. It’s not scratch built, but it’s great to be able to just hit print and have a mammoth piece of terrain ready to go in a couple of days 😊

@@BenjisHobbies Thanks a lot. Yeah, the terrain build itself and you can forget about it until it's finished. I need to start saving money to get a 3D printer. On a side note I've finally bitten the bullet and started painted my MESBG minis, all because of you. And with a friend we are going to start a Battle Company campaign at some point.

Thanks dude! FDM printing has revolutionised terrain making for me. I’ll still enjoy scratch building stuff, but whilst I’m limited on time printing is a great help!

Completely get the lack of free time as a parent but it does get more frequent as they get older. Im finding i get more of the afternoons during weekends, as well as late evenings to get some "me time" (aka Hobby time) and my little 'n is 4. You'll get even more if you indoctrinate them to the hobby at the earliest opportunity!! 😂 Smart looking castle too btw, you nailed the aesthetic of a living castle. Ill also admit i too am very much in the castle appreciation society, such majestic buildings (even if their intended purpose was subjugation of the populace...)

Thanks so much! The mat is from Gamemat EU - it’s their Medieval Town design. Made out of neoprene material so it’s really hard wearing too, and they’re reasonably priced! Hope that helps 😊

It’s just superglue and activator 😊 The activator makes the glue dry almost instantly.

How have you found layer lines to be on FDM printing? I'm tempted to dive in but fear my OCD would be destroyed by easily visible layer lines.

They’re definitely visible, but honestly from anything over a foot or so away they’re barely noticeable. On a miniature you’d notice them significantly, but on big buildings like this they’re not a big issue 😊
