I am impressed with your proper use of the term jig. Most people use the term "jig" when they are actually referring to a fixture. The difference is that a fixture only positions and holds a workpiece while a jig also guides a tool. Your jig did guide the tool used to form the leather pieces. Also, I love the creative design of the bike bag. This inspires me to make similar bags for motorcycle handlebars and sissy bars.

Thanks! I tried but was not happy. So the engraving is no longer as dark as it was because I washed the oil of. I will do leather coating for my next project to protect the dark engraving as well.
