Awesome build! Really well done! You can hear your frustration to not beeing able to finish it completely. Nevertheless, please keep doing what you're doing 😊
Yeah Buddy!!! 30k+ instances. That makes my Hall look silly at 11 k. But I'm also on console 😂. Great build, really enjoyed watching you work. Lots of inspiration. Mahalo Bradda.
Hey man killed it with this video! Hope if you get the chance sometime you could give us a couple shorts or a video about planning out or detailing dvergr style buildings, I know it's a style I really struggle to make look good. Looking forward to your next big project!
Lava slimes deforming terrain when they explode really throws a monkey wrench in base defenses. I normally like to raise the ground and make dirt walls around the perimeter but that is no longer safe. I think now the best thing is to just make walls that are high enough so that they can’t jump into my base.
Outstanding work!!!! I am a huge fan of building in a grand way even in survival mode, but an area like this in the Ashlands - it's just not possible or practical just because of the never-ending environmental damage, monster raids, etc. If you use QOL mods in Valheim, I would highly recommend the mod Better Wards. You can build anything within it's radius (that you can set) and set custom levels of protection for any structure built within.
ive never played this game, but if you want to see some of the huge bases i made on 7 days to die, just let me know i made bases using millions of blocks.. including an eiffel tower, a huge star base.. the biggest i ever made - took 3 months.. a giants kitchen, the taj mahal, the hanging gardens of babylon, an evil supervillains volcano lair, etc etc
Very impressive as usual. 🙏 A question: Which graphic settings are you using when building this big? All at max? Cuz I have noticed that even if you have a good computer the game always have some fps problem when you have so many instances.
I agree with that the building system needs a rework. I tried making a huge detailed manor as my ultimate late game base, im at around 24k instances and I'm dropping a bunch of fps. Tried also making a viking village with a bunch of friends on an online server and that wasn't do-able either because of frames dropping so we forced quit. From what I understand from Ninebyte you can modify the pieces to make them invulnerable and that helps with the frames since the game doesn't have to calculate health/damage.
I am building a dual wall entrance to my kingdom and it already has 41,000 instances, care to guess my fps? and im not joking, i am seriously doing this, the lighthouse alone was like 30k instances.
What do you mean by "Instances" ? I played a lot of Valheim and have been through the Ashlands but i don't know what you mean by instances. I know what the word means, and i know what it would mean in a lot of multiplayer games, but i don't get what you mean in your title for this build.
@@jjthebuilder Ah, thank you. i had no idea. i only ever played on survival and never tried just building so it never occured to me to look for info in the F keys. Appreciate the quick response. Also i didn;t say it in the first comment but Really great build dude, wouldn't mind raiding a castle like that in survival 😛
It’s a pity that it was filmed at such a distance and at such speed that I can’t possibly construct it. I always follow your videos, but this time it won’t work.
