I can't wait for Enshrouded on Xbox. I already bought game on Steam and finished EA version on my handheld. I will buy this game again in Xbox Store. Game developers confirmed Xbox Play Anywhere support on their roadmap page (cross platform). I hope the final version will allow us rotate voxel cubes. It should be possible because game replaces default voxel boxes with custom 3D shapes when player commit action. Game check nearby elements and select appropriate 3D model. They could use that mechanism to create rotated shapes. This mechanism gives them unlimited possibilities. I wish more games supported this mix of a voxel engine with custom 3D shapes. This game is true next-gen experience for people who like to build
Try a melee build and feel the enshrouded challenge :) Nah seriously it´s a fair comment, but melee in enshrouded is much tougher than any range option. Also using an exploit for gathering or loot is just not a fair point, you can´t compare "cheating" with another game that doesn´t have that exploit.
They are similar but really different at the same time. I can see how if you like one, then you might like the other. Enshrouded feels more closer to an RPG with some influence from Minecraft and valheim. Valheim has no RPG aspects to it. It’s entirely a sandbox adventure and more open world. Both are great games though.
After watching this vid tho, I can see how this game is a fun and different way to build, I would definitely appreciate a heavily modded Valheim build vid. I’m sure the mod creators would be appreciative as well, as many of those creators are very solid and helpful people, along with being unbelievably talented
Inspiring. I like how you started out by creating a story to explain your build, and help you plan and carry through with it. The majority of the challenge I face is distraction and loss of focus.
Mad respect for your building style and your editing methods. I normally dont like when people showcase creative building. But you really made it enjoyable to watch making mistakes and everything..Great job !!!
I wish we have ruins like this in main game. Valheim developers should use community buildings and use them in game. Select 1000 creations send by community and add them to world generator. Game will look better than Enshrouded or any other survival game
u def should check out plan build there u can create blueprints and copy paste em. This way u could easily copy big parts of the build and u would not have to build everything from scratch. Like the pillars build one set snapping points on it and then u can copy it. Also if u wanna enhance ur building further try gizmo it allows to rotate pieces in ever direction giving u the ability to build wonderful arches with wood etc. But even without all of em this build is just amazing!
i dont agree that enshourded needs to be more punshing i think valheim should be less aids using a boat at first to get metal is great but after a few runs its beyond boring and time consuming
Never heard of enshrouded but that's great because guess what, I like valheim so much so if there is an other game like it then let's go I'm gonna play it and have a blast
yeah similaritys - you can build. everything else is just different same for grounded it is compleatly different game when you got random map vs when you all got the same it gives freedom and unique
Wonderfully edited video. Every shot was visually appealing and the audio mixing completed it perfectly. You bring up great points separating the two games. I don't understand why these are so often juxtaposed. They are two very distinctly paced experiences. I agree that Valheim is missing building pieces, (where are our turf roofs? Vikings used wattle and daub!) I would really like to get into modding in order to revamp and add to the building pieces in a way that's still in line with the game's artstyle. It feels like building is often proportioned unevenly in regards to the player's size. If you could add anything, what would you?
Deginitlry not something you would want to do in any mode that you intend on making hostile creatures in. The lava blobs alone will take this whole structure down easily.
You are one unique kind of content creator. That hell of ahot place to be in, maybe more ventilation is needed? Hopefully you can explore other games just for the sake of building! Your video has inspired me to prototype a crafting system for weapons using a similar level of detail and flexibility so someone has a chance to create masterpieces.
There are some things in the work but there taking a bit more time. But without spoiling or getting your hopes up I’m looking at other games and I want to go more into building and how I do it.
tbh I can only really enjoy valheim when modded. It's like skyrim or something to me, a great baseline. Enshrouded stands better on it's own with more QoL but needs more time to grow and hopefully gets mod support.
@@jjthebuilder I use those in game adjustments myself and you still have to have a workbench/stonecutter/forge in proximity and your video is flashing red to show that it's not there? I'm not sure if that is just because you might be using a pc because I use Xbox.
@@jjthebuilderI do love your videos but maybe if RU-vid allows it change your title to "no external mods" because the game also calls it "world modifiers"
