Thank you Michelle, Steve, Pups 🐾and 🐈⬛ too! 😊 Hope you're doing well my friends 🤞🏻Always great to hear from you, stay safe and take care 🙏🏻 God Bless 🫶🏻Appreciate you always! 😊
Hi Michy, grout work is hard the way your doing it. A little advice were rubber gloves Thick ones ,using your finger works but you will sand the skin off the finger tips, as a Tile setter we call them strawberry's, and the sting like pins and needles when they are raw skin. . About rinsing your sponges just have a couple 5 gallon buckets half full of water to rinse and squeeze them. Good luck hope this helps out.
I'm actually still watching , but I'm just so happy I've finally seeing one of your videos so soon after you posted it! I've always been at work and unable to watch your videos the day they're released. I've been watching for three years and this has never happened until today.
What a bridge, tunnel and road, on the way home. It appears to be an old railroad grade, for logging or mining. You have to be the hardest working person on RU-vid. thank you all
99% certain she is driving on a portion of the historic Kettle Valley Railway. An old Old steamer rail system where engines used to chug steep inclines carrying passengers and freight through the interior down to the lower mainland. It is worth a search to read its history but the KVR was taken out of service due to high cost, high hazard, derailments and lives lost especially through winters huge snow accumulations and slides. All that it was still a marvel of engineering through some of the most incredible and scenic parts of British Columbia, Canada. 🇨🇦
Here's a tip for next time that you have grout work. You can make a small grout spatula out of an old butterknife. Grind the edge of the blade to make it narrower to the desired width. Put it in a vise and bent the flat blade into a Z-shape. P.S.- I heard you say something about Clyde. I hope that he is OK. I know that he is getting old. You are good to your pets. I hope everything is alright with Clyde. Oh yeah! Thanks for the tip on the Delete Me. My identity was stolen also in 2003. They have my address, birthdate, and phone number. I'm going to give this a try to see if I can get them to delete my information they soe may have. Thanks a lot!
I always look forward to seeing your videos. You are so talented. I am glad to hear Steve is pain free. I too suffer from Spinal Stenosis and know the excruciating pain that it comes with it. I thank God I have a wonderful wife who steps up to take care of nearly everything.
It's always a pleasure to drink my morning coffee and seeing your beauty and your new video. I'm glad to see Steve moving around so well after his surgery recovery. He still has to take it easy for a few more months. It's easy to overdo seeing on how much you work near him. It's truly a breath taking view. It's amazing. You are so Gorgeous and Beautiful. May God continue to bless you, Steve and your fur babies. Hugs from Santa Barbara. 🤗😘👋🍷🌹😎🙏
CLYDE!!! I simply love seeing him. I'm not exactly sure why this one video was so fun to watch but the scenes from "Clifford" were serene and dreamlike. Such a spectacular view. Now safety Nancy here! Take time next time to clean up your trail so that come winter there are not hidden trippers underfoot. Anytime I try to work around a problem and leave it for another day I end up getting tripped up by that choice. Be careful "Barbie" we all want you fit and healthy for your (our) next adventure.
"Look at that view..." Indeed. Makes me homesick for the Lake and the old cabin, (opposite shore from yours) spent a lot of time there and truly miss it when you feature those scenes. Clyde D. Bear and the other doggos are yet another reason to tune in for the Michy-vids. Cheers! From a transplanted Castlegar guy now in the Willamette Valley, Oregon.
Steve. I had a spinal stenosis and a discectomy 15 years ago. My back will remind me now and then to knock it off when it comes to crazy lifting but at 71, I'm doing great and kicking the youngsters butts. Mich. You amaze me on each vlog. Everytime I see a Letterkenny with the women's hockey team I think of you.
Work hard. Take care of important. Sometimes Steve, sometimes a cabin. BUT JUST GO! If you die with a bow on your life you have done something wrong. Many people do not understand that. I am confident you are one who does.
Re: your introduction to the video - @Michy, you are doing all of this voluntarily. You are free to make videos about anything you like, and also start or stop certain topics whenever you want. I love your content 85% of the time, and I am thoroughly grateful that you continue to share part of your wonderful and varied adventures with us 🤩😍🤩
As an old logger I like to see you wearing chaps now when bucking with the saw, things can go south in a hurry, especially working alone. You should check into fallers pants, they make them stretchy & comfortable now, offer more protection and are easy on the knees & calves when kneeling or crawling around when you need to. Did you notice the rabbit run by in the background as you’re cutting that little tree up around 13 minutes in?
@@michygoss7148 Ah! now that I think about it, it is a tad early for the bunnys to be changing their colour. I also meant to add that the safety gear isn't overkill at all, even the hat. Saying this as someone who's been beaned on the noggin a couple of times & my hardhat saved me from serious noggin damage (although my wife might argue that point..)
Nice to see ol' Clifford is doing well. Getting some improvements. Sorry to hear it may be Clydes' last time. That's the thing with dogs. They get old so fast. Thanks for sharing.
Love seeing clifford! Views are so gorgeous. I have a suggestion. Maybe one of those Solar power trail cameras pointing at your cabins to keep an eye on it for when you're not able to be there, they come with like a cell phone attachment to your phone type of thing.... could be cool for when you miss him so much cliff is just a click on your phone.
Thanks for the wonderful glimpse into your amazing life, the never ending task of cleaning, stacking, sorting, and storing has such a strange pull on me.
I’m so glad to see that Steve is still watching Hogans Hero’s, my all time favorite as well! I think they’re all gone now to the stalag in the sky now that Robert Clary (Laboe ?Spelling?) has finally escaped from his earthly stalag. 😊
Good morning Michy, I loved this video. You and Steve have the most beautiful property you seem to fit there . I must say you are the best looking lumberjack I know of . I did get the 12in. Chainsaw like yours just awesome thanks. Have a wonderful day ☕️🙂
This video popped up just as I'm finishing my coffee. And I can't watch it because I've got chores to do. I will say this though, some of the coolest things that I've learned and some of the best tricks that I found out have been because I made a mistake. And my role has always been that. It's only a mistake if you do the same thing twice. If you do it once, it's a learning experience. If you repeat that same thing well then it's a mistake. And I try not to make mistakes
Hi Michelle. Great to see Steve is doing better. Nice seeing the hound gang and feline. Will never get over the increadble scenery. I am doing the same kind of prep for winter. Great video and editing as always. Stay safe and happy. G😊❤
instead of getting a larger woodstove (which is too much stove for the size of the cabin) for a faster warmup, you could get a tanktop heater for a propane tank (or a little BuddY) that you could turn on for an hour or two.
It's funny how in Florida, I try to get my outdoor work done before summer when it gets too hot to do real work, but you in Canada, close up before winter. Climate change just made it that much worse down here.
So many things for you to do I'm glad Steve is doing a lot better seeing all your family everyone looks happy the cat is so mellow at Clyde is so funny there's going to be a lot of stuff for you to do when it starts snowing that's your favorite time of year😂 say thank you for the video all your hard work cabins looking amazing can you take care of yourself and your family see you on the next one😂😂❤🎉
Occurs to me that there's a whole lot more land to traverse on 10 acres on the side of a steep mountain in BC than there is on 10 acres in, say, Kansas. Enjoying your videos at my 2nd home on the sunrise side of northern Michigan.
The grout looks great, I know it's a pain but once your done with it'll look like it should, please do the railing if you fall off that deck nothing will ever get completed, I catch Acrophobia just seeing you near the edge yikes, please be safe & hoping winter is kind to all!
16:49 I love Michelle has kneeling so beautiful on a building with timber powder builder has scraping with kneeling like my fabulous school Carew Academy has kneeling so lovely next to him and she used a beautiful word "it's safe and better" she said about the word with kneeling like crouching. Michelle is a truly! 😮😮😍😍😍
Well I was going to ask about the deck if you got it finished but I see Ken is still working on it. Been watching since the beginning so thanks for sharing the adventure. The cabin at the lake doesn’t have a railing either I see so it understandable you have a fear of railings maybe got your head stuck in one as a child. Rolf ( maybe only funny to me). Glad Steve is doing great and him being a pain in the butt is back to normal levels. Lol just kidding. Thanks again for sharing
🖐 edit: go back and put that flooring inside. Leaving it outside to absorb more moisture than it would inside will leave you with regrets. It needs to be acclimated!
Hi Michy, all in all, another successful job done, and great to watch........Maybe a 9 inch piece of copper pipe would be better for this type of jointing/grouting?, flatten half way with a hammer and bend a little to form a handle, this is used to scrape out your joints, leaving a nice half round joint, just as a bricklayer or stone mason would.......Worth a try......Take good care gorgeous, regards to Steve. 😘
Is Bear sick? Or you figure it’s getting close to his time?? Will be a very sad time for you and us who follow you. Nice shorts by the way. Lol. Just struck me funny when you turned around with your cutting gear on! Anyway, stay safe lady !
Hey Mich! Me Again Dawna the miner gal! I see you put a line up to move lumber on a cable from one place to another. VERY good idea! In the mining industry we call those tag lines or trolley lines. Those are used for carrying ore and equipment back and forth from the mine down to a mill or whatever, especially if the mine is way up on a mountainside and needs everything needs to be moved up or down that mountainside. Those arent used as much nowadays because of the lack of underground mining but was used a lot back in the old days. Also sometimes all that work is just too much for just one person to where you need help at times. Same as i do when doing my mines but i usually try to do as much as i can by myself and sometimes it takes me a day or so to get my body back into operation since i get so sore nowadays. 😵💫
HELLO MICHY, HERE'S A THOUGHT, WOULD BE TO MAKE A WALK WAY. USING SOME RUNNER BOARDS OR LOGS FLATTENED ON ONE EDGE AND USE TWO FOOT LONG PIECES . JUST A THOUGHT, BUT DEFINITELY A OUTHOUSE. TAKE CARE, GOOD TOO SEE STEVE UP AND ABOUT. HAVE A GOOD WEEK ,OUR BEAUTIFUL BUILDER. COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS AMEN. 👋😇👍👌✌️👋🇨🇦
Good morning 🌅, You 2 and the family of hounds,🐶, great to hear that Steve is a lot better with his back, not sure whether they are available over in your neck of the woods, they don’t grow on trees but they are quite good very very large mastic gun, for doing mortar, They are around 3 inches in diameter , and they have different size nozzles to fit on the end, from very fine to around nearly inch in diameter, might be worth picking one of these up if you can locate one, just operate it the same way as you do a normal mastic gun, might have been better to stack your timber alongside your cabin on the decking an inch or so off the deck so when it pours down rain, it’s not sitting in the water, I see that mermaid is still about, you might of heard of them they called The Pioneer log Homes company, BC , if you go on their website, you might get some ideas, something you’ve got to think about is how you are going to get the materials down, helicopter, 😮😮😂. Keep up the great work , stay safe, Look forward to your next project, From France.

@@_Boregard_Rippy_ Kindly check your stats: Bette Midler won 3 Grammys; including for the FIRST recording of "The Rose" in 1979 for the movie of the same name. She has three of four "notches" to hold EGOT status. Conway, while talented, is hardly a legend.
... Ms Midler has and abrasive side and played the annoying woman in films and her nasal vocal tone is Rosanne Bar ish on its bess day thats why she sold less than 1M copies of The Rose and Mr Twitty sold over 4M .. kindly put that in your bong and smoke it ..! @@lpeterman
@@_Boregard_Rippy_ Your deep-seated love of a male country music recording personality is noted, (not admired.) In any and all circumstances, I would rather listen to Bette Midler than your (now) forgotten hero. DO please continue to espouse the virtues of a C&W former noted personality, I however will now "tune you out."
