I am homesteader here in Puerto Rico and you got no reason to be ashamed of your work. I can tell you the you got a A+ in effort an A in the work and A++ in your Stamina!
You guys are so AWESOME, love you guys and the work you have done, been watching you since the sailing days and WOW you have come so far, you guys are doing a great job and should be very proud, the world is a better place because of people like you!
"I leave my life in the hands of calamity." (That is too funny!) This entire episode was extremely entertaining. Hilarious. The deck looks great. How about filming a shot of the entire deck so we can see how it from a full view.
Mongus Matteo ? Geez ! Your skill with coming up with names for your life adventure is inspirational and humorous.. Thanks Matt. Your approach is appreciated by some of us who would'nt dare try some of your challenges. My personal favourite, was Larry Laminado. Blessings to you both. Keep it coming bro'.
Matt, you are doing great work. Saying that, don’t sweat the small imperfections. It’s not a perfect world we live in. To quote a friend from years ago, “you’re not building a church, it don’t have to be perfect.” Really like the steps.
Kristen and Matt great tuning in every Sunday to watch listen and learn just love the way you two come across its so pleasurable. Can't wait to see Matt's Mongoose necklace
Shovel...RIP, you gettin bad rap dude, you shovel killer you. Want shovel to last, be nice to shovel Bro, HA HA. Use bar to help dig. Keep these videos comming, just makes my Sunday morning coffee a real treat. Cheers
I’m a verified professional shovel pusher. As foreman of a cemetery crew, I recommend the “Razorback” shovel. I break shovels all the time, if it’s weak anywhere, it’s useless for everyday heavy lifting. The razorbacks love heavy loads while still being lightweight enough for extended use. Engineered to be virtually indestructible. 😅
lol, put your hands in your pockets. Keep them there. And, you got me... Why is that one light on on the trailer. It's been months. I can't take it anymore. I have to ask. 🙂
Always entertaining!! Matt you must have a steel back! You’ve done so much by yourself and it all looks great!!! As always it’s the ONLY 2 🍺 🍺 episode channel!! Thanks for the great editing Kristen!! Always your OG Lady fan watching from Tennessee 😊
Happy Sunday Kristen and Matt, great job this week on the deck and watch those kitties, I would still take them in and let the vet know that happened, if they bit the animal and it did have rabies, they can still get rabies, just my opinion. You all are doing a great job, and we Byron and I, enjoy you both and look forward to next week. Sending prayers for you both to have a blessed week. 😇
Matt, steel tube welded in the shovel, that’s what we do here in Panama 🇵🇦 the land of many rocks that break shovels. Matt keep making all the construction mistakes it keeps viewers up 😂 I noticed all the complainers haven’t shown up to help, I do what I believe is right and right for the situation and if it works so be it, if not I learn from it. ROCK ON YOU TWO😊
Deck the halls that decks looking mighty good, fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la! 🎵🎶 / Yep Matt, weave Mr.Mongooses tail into your locks! A great fashion statement and warning to its owners homies! You two have a great week. Be safe.
Everyone always has ideas lol. Anyways I've always had a dog . In your environment it would be an asset. Would keep preditors away and let you know when people arrive. Protect your home when you're not there. Great personality's great companions . Good for content 😊
The deck and stairs are very good.I didn,t think you could do it Bobby bouchea but you did it! Next project will be to make a mongoose trap before your puppy chickin,s get eaten!
I'm starting to sense a theme here: starting softly with some dead dolphins, upgrading to hawk (without tuah) in his hands (those faces- both hawks and Matts- need to be eternalized in memes) and continuing with mammals. There has to be some compilation one day.
I never was a perfectionist but as I got older I realized I was doing things over and over. So now if I have a project I tell myself this is my home and I’m gonna be here a long time so I always use the best quality material. It will save you money over time.
Hey! The steps look amazing, don’t be so hard on yourself all the time with how you go about doing things! What you do always works out great- and when you get to building your house, that will look great too, I have NO doubt. Me and hubby love watching you two every Sunday! Love seeing how you are with your menagerie too! I love the way you are with the peeps and the cats!! And hey, where’s farty Marty gone?! Also, don’t worry about the mongoose, he had to go! good to see the cats are doing their job - Looking after them peeps!
Morning Matt and Kristen GBU Sunday mornings hot cup of coffee and I’m happy. Love the deck and stairs look awesome, can’t wait to see Kristen working on her deck designing her million dollar outfits I still love the dress that looked like she was going to the academy awards 👍👍❤️❤️❤️
Stay the way you are if perfectionist then let it be. I enjoy to the last minute your work, sometimes I even feel worried when I see your work outfit. As for quality wood there are some companies in san juan but they are really expensive. You need to make a salt water jacuzzi to compensate for the boat been in salinas.
Love the steps . & No matter what you’re living in take pride in what you are doing . I’ve seen million dollar homes & empty furnishings empty love in the home . I love seeing you both from sailing to homesteading It’s obvious to see the care & love no matter what’s going on . I do feel for you Matt in killing cause my kids & grandkids always make fun of me for catching spiders or anything that gets in & letting it go outside . But understand you have animals outside to protect . See you all next week . Oh So glad you or the cats weren’t injured .
Really enjoy your videos❤ everything is looking great. And as far as the crappy wood goes,,we live in ontario canada,,and the wood the hardware store trys to give us is the same! We demand that we hand pick it. Its very sad as we grow the wood here in ontario,,you would think we would get the best of the best😅
Nice job done on the stairs Matt well done they look great. The mongoose are well wild you have to look after yourself and your livestock don’t feel bad about it we all know you love animals 😊😊
Guys I love your show. Really respect your efforts to make a new life. I live in Trinidad, way south of you. We have real difficulties with using wood. Termites make nonsense out of everything I have ever done, even destroying a green heart deck. Eventually I had to use plastic!! You can get a company that does termite work to treat the land and you and keep doing it every few years, that will certainly help. I would really like to see you succeed. Best wishes.
Matty it turned out great but man… ever heard of sawhorses?? I mean you’re just free handed ripping whole length boards! Dam son! Grab a saw horse and rest the back a minute
Nice work on the deck. Wood needs to acclimate especially if it is freshly pressure treated. But you have done a lot and the rewards are coming. Enjoy the hard work and stay safe with the animals and pets.
