Are we just not going to talk about how he showed the wrong thumbnail? He showed his video on worlds 2023, that battle was from Charlotte. Also congrats on the Orlando dub! My man won the second biggest tournament of all time right after winning the biggest tournament of all time.
Could someone explain to me why he even called the switch in the first place? Kingambit was set up and could KO his Urshifu, so why would the opponent switch it out?
They were worried the double up wouldn’t KO Urshifu, then Wolfe takes a double KO with Flare Blitz into Rillaboom and CC into Kingambit. Either that or they were reading switch Urshifu Flare Blitz Rillaboom was another potential play so Sucker Punch fails.
Luka predicted that Wolfe’s best play is to fake out Rillaboom and close combat into kingambit, therefore the only way he could counter that play is to switch kingambit out.
In the video of the match wolfe mentions that his Incineroar has fake out, preasure so the safest play was fake out rilaboom and close combat king gambit, that's why King Gambit switched, he covered for the safest play
Make an actual competitive team and add in Hippowdon. It pulled through for you like crazy - time to show it some love by winning a tournament with it!
Hey Wolfe, I’m assuming you’ll be making a video on your Orlando team and I really hope your journey through EUIC is mentioned since Orlando was so last minute. Excited to see it if it comes. I’d also love to see a BonusWolfe video like you usually make but I don’t know if the finals were “worthy” so to speak.
It is actually surprisingly easy to make reads like this from a bad position because you are already lost if you don't make the play. The lesson for yall newer players is always look for your outs. Even if the only reasonable way through (without a severe, obvious error by the opponent) is something completely ridiculous looking like this. The other note is actually from the perspective of the opponent, and that is sometimes you go for the killing blow early and win while you are winning. You have to be aware of the opponent's outs and while often slow rolling while ahead is a great way to get a safe win, you may be missing something. When you are winning, don't assume a safe looking play will keep you winning.
OMG I REMEMBER WATCHING THAT. Wolf was absolutely LUDICROUS for that. Parting shoting an ALREADY BOOSTED kingambit is WILD. Bro is acting like he the main character 😭😭 AND GETS AWAY WITH IT. BRO HAS ACTUALLY GOT PLOT ARMOR
I thought this was the match that happened yesterday. Looking forward to that near instant win to become a short. Offensive Amoonguss world champ difference
You know what’s funny is all VGC Players always keep their kitakami Hairstyle during the tournament. How come they forgot to change their ingame hair style?
What was the read? The gambit and rillaboom were in great position to knock out urshifu. Why did he switch and lose his boost? And why would Wolfe think he would? Choice band? Tera read?
@@tabhou7988 Yeah but if bith opponents went for priority moves farigaraff's ability will cancel it out making him take 0 dmg and then from there onwards Wolfie would be back to a good position
@@joeman123964 he genuinely hasn't lied tbh. Orlando last year was the biggest tournament, then it was Charlotte this year, and then EUIC, which Wolfe didn't win.
It literally was. Each tournament gets bigger and bigger and he makes the shorts right after they finish, so when the next even bigger one comes aroud the last one is outdated and he can STILL say it was the biggest tournament because it was lmao
Hyrule was VERY beautiful. I literally was ignoring you and imagining riding the horse and shooting those elves that make the music change. Why does the game do that? Anyways it makes me not like the enemies even more. They disturb this AWESOME adventure jam. But what are you talking about with The Biggest Tournament of all time?
When you frame every single one of your videos as “ *I* overly romanticize *every single thing* I’ve *ever* done! “ it really makes you come off as the kind of person who gets a remotely positive response out of his friend group and can’t stop playing it back in their head for at least a week.
