@@dinocharlie1 the thing is pekin wanted to go for ludens buy but he chose to go for malig and an early maj So yes ludens is the better option but in case that you can get a completed item AND upgrade dark seal in the same base make it waay better option than just getting ludens and sitting on alot of gold

@@Failsy1 Pekin has no reason to actually hard improve at the game anyway. He still hits challenger every season and it's not like he's trying to go pro. So he doesn't really need anyone's input especially not in the middle of a game.

Let's look at the math of Luden's vs Maligna here Ludens AP: Ludens 95 10 Stack Dark Seal 55 Total AP without runes: 150 Luden’s proc damage 210 + 14% AP Total Luden’s damage 231 Malignance AP: Malignance 80 10 Stack Mejai’s (at time of critique) 70 Total AP: 150 Malignance zone damage: 15 + 1.25% per ¼ second Malignance damage (1 tick): ~42 AP is the same, if you weren’t super fed, she’d be right, but she’s thinking way too one dimensional. If we keep looking at the game… 22 stack Mejai’s AP (after you explained it and they doubled down): 130 Total new AP: 210 No Luden’s proc is overcoming that, cause even a needless wouldn't catch you up in AP and your ratios are too good for arguing for a Luden's proc to be worth it

There is no way for Sera to extrapolate all of the detail leading up to the decision. Sera might not have even known that they were both bought at the same base. Sera might have pressed tab and looked at Lux's items for the first time that game. how would those few words make her understand anything?

I can't tell you how many times I've wanted deathcap but went shadowflame because a fight was about to happen so I bought an alternator for 150g less to have the extra AP. If she can't understand that concept of "I got x because of y(cheaper)" then she's not trying to listen and just trying to flame

what seraphine said isn't stupid, in fact seraphine is correct due to pekin poor communication. pekin only said "i got mejai because of this buy" which seraphine is correct when saying you'd be more fed if you had ludens since ludens is better than malignance and 'i got mejai because of this buy' doesn't mean that you could only get both items if you didn't buy ludens. surely seraphine isnt saying that getting ludens and an amp tome is better than getting malignance and a 10 stack mejai (especially after seeing that it already had gotten more stacks while typing). so.. i think its not seraphine being stupid, its just lack of communication effort on pekins part

he only got the mejai's because maligma is 200 cheaper, without the mejai he wouldn't hit as hard and wouldn't have got the kills he got after the buy. So no, he would have not been as fed with ludens
