Back at it again with super cheap recipes! I don't know about you but I can't be spending hundreds of dollars for HOME COOKED meals!! So these are some of my go-to recipes when I'm cracking down on my budget. They're inexpensive, easy, have minimal prep time, and I usually have most of these ingredients lying around anyway! The lazy lasagna is mind blowing for me hahaha . I have some left over lasagna noodles from so so long ago because I’ve been too lazy to make anything with them. So making it this weekend!

You can use any kind of noodles in this, and it will work great. It'll just be more like a casserole if you use macaroni sized noodles. Mix and match them. Dump all of your extras in there. :)

I need to make that fettuccine alfredo asap. Omg. Looks so good! I will also say that I've been doing a lot of crunch wraps like these (but with black beans) and adding those weird bac'n bits to the beans has unlocked new levels for me. 🥴They've become such a weird staple for me!

I've been eating a lot of pasta bakes lately, because I'm not exactly a chef and because it's super simple. For the tomato sauce, is it a regular size 14.5oz can or the big 28oz can? In the video you say a big can but the recipe on the website says a single 14oz can.

Please make more budget meal videos. I loved these and the lentil sweet potato enchiladas in your other budget meal videos. I've switched from vegan to WFPB vegan for health reasons. I like these recipes because they are mostly whole food based., especially if I use your cheese sauce and omit the oil. These meals are still delicious. Thank you.

I made an inspiration of the lasagna the other day, and it was so good! So I really recommend people to try it out, it is so much easier then with whole lasagna sheets. But next time I am going to also add bechamelsauce! :)

Just had a quick question about the lasagna because it looked like the one you were eating had more layers than the one made - is that true (for ex, were you eating one made earlier? If so, was just curious how many layers you made for that one because I liked how well it held together when cut, but couldn't tell if it was just a case of having let the one made on camera wait until cooled and set. Thanks so much for this video. I love your personality and this was really eye-opening. I like the idea of being able to do this as cheaply as possible. I'm not vegan, but would like to implement vegan days maybe 3 times a week, so this is perfect for me, thank you! Also... nice to see someone else with terrible depth perception😄

Hey Candice, random question- what material is the pot you made the lentils made out of? Is that glass? How does it hold up to heat and stains? It’s so cute and I’ve seen more of these but I wonder how they compare to metal cookware?

It is glass, Pyrex makes some good ones. It doesn't stain, or absorb smells.

I can't wait to try all the recipes! Maybe a stupid question, but how do you keep the linguine noodles from sticking together when you are cooking them? Mine get stuck in clumps and I end up with lots of bits that aren't well cooked. I don't have this issue with any other kind of pasta and it drives me nuts!
