Single meals are also good for people who have families who do not eat the same way.❤ Great advice for being by yourself. It is healthy to be okay with solitude at times. After all, you are with yourself for your whole life! These casual hangout videos are nice.🙂

I'm a solo person, too (and absolutely LOVE it, by the way). I'm also WFePB (whole-foods, entirely plant-based). And I also thoroughly enjoy cooking. But I work full time, so as much as I enjoy cooking, I know I won't want to do it after work, so what I do is I batch cook. I make one big meal on a Saturday afternoon that's purposely super easy to make, because I'm not going to be wanting to make anything real elaborate on that days (hey, it's Saturday, it's for fun stuff). And I make a big meal on Sunday afternoon, and this one is typically more labor intensive. I'm also into all-in-one, one-pot-type meals, where you get all your nutrients in one bowl. So my Saturday leftovers are for my weekly breakfasts (I like dinner foods for breakfast), and my Sunday leftovers are for my dinners for the week. Each Saturday and Sunday, I try to make something different. It's been working for me for years now.

My gf from work recently told me about your channel and she is vegan and I am slowly introducing vegan things to my diet due to health issues, and my boyfriend is a very healthy eater and very active and even though he is not full vegan, he is mostly, and everything so far I've seen on your shows, he has ate and would love your recipes!! As a single person myself, I’d love more meals for one!! Also I often feel stuck in a rut as to ways to fill my time when I’m single and finding myself again. Perhaps you could do what you eat in a day videos and also vlog about things you’re just doing by yourself and for yourself to provide some fun inspiration for things we can do as single folk. :)

In the summer, my husband works away so I am often cooking for 1. Also, I do shift work. So even when he is home, we often have different eating schedules. Recipes for 1 are great!

Well, Finally! I appreciate you so much I remember 10 years ago when I became vegan I really had zero knowledge of how and what to cook and eat and you really had helped me so much. I subscribed what seems like a thousand years ago now, after your wedding I guess the Bell notification just kind of stopped I lost touch I didn't get notified and the next thing I knew you were like totally super different dark haired tattooed girl with a new tattooed boyfriend, 😳. I actually tried to look back to find a video to explain what happened but thought maybe you just thought it was a transition that didn't need an explanation. So now notified out of the blue the "single girl for one"video and then learning about "what happened to old Candice" ( so appreciate you letting us know) with all your hardest things and realization, I'm so happy for your progress and growth. I've had very similar things and have been gratefully single for the last 12 years, also an extroverted introvert and can't imagine a better life for myself and so awesome seeing your happiness and you growing into who makes you THE YOU.. ❤️‍🩹➡️❤️

Not only do I eat for one, really I eat for half of one as I had a weight loss surgery that reduced my stomach size. I often halve a recipe or make the full amount and freeze half. It helps to love leftovers. Which I do.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but every time I try to make Just Egg, it molecularly ADHERES to the pan! LOL! I had to actually throw one of my pans away because I couldn't get it off. That gyro looks so bomb! And I loooove your new furniture. Looks so pretty!

Same, despite using a non-stick cast iron pan. What I found was cooking it lower (about medium instead of med-high) and covering it with a lid. That moisture helps it to not stick so I don't have to scrub for my life.
