Exactly. For example, I can’t visit any of my neighbors because the doors are gone. There is just a black hole, and I can’t click (knock) on the door to enter inside. And the other thing is that I can’t ride a bicycle or give my dogs a walk in the city because my sims enter in a loop and constantly turn around and around.

I can't own a dog in the apartments because they won't let themselves out to potty. Really wish they would fix that. Also I cant see any fish in any fish tanks 😕

I will say I had a lot of fun making a 9 unit luxury condo block this weekend. Thanks for the inspiration. For anyone who’s curious, it’s in the gallery titled “The Burkhardt”, situated in San Myshuno where the Casbah Gallery used to be - because why not.

1:45 just remember, more objects (and this goes triple for lights or animated stuff) = more build mode/live mode lag. It may be wise to leave a few units empty just for gameplay sake

I think it might be a lot of fun to create sims for each apartment and make up a realistic personality instead of a colorscheme. Someone could be recently divorced for instance and have some expensive items, but also a lot of hand-me-downs. Or someone could be very well traveled and collects artifacts from different places they visited.

Love this! I suggested on the speed build video that you should do a “furnishing challenge”! I think it would be super cool to see how not only you but others would set up and decorate these apartments. I actually downloaded it the other day and have done the first three apartments on the top floor so far.

I'm really enjoying Simsie getting more adventurous with her builds and color schemes. Orange and purple is such a good combo, and it was leaning into an updated mid-century mod vibe with some of the patterns. I think that Nifty Knitting couch would have worked really well. :)

I downloaded this apartment building and had so much fun decorating each apartment. Thank you! I would love to have more empty buildings that I could decorate. To me, decorating a home, apartment, or house is just as much fun as playing with a Sim. Fyi for the community there's a mod that lets you have and use multiple elevators in one building. So the custom apartments can kind of be made. You'd still need the roommate system but there's also a mod that lets you choose roomates! They're both by littlemssam and they have their mods in curseforge for easy installation.

I'm always bewildered with how EVERY TIME Kayla complains about some swatch or detail, it's *exactly* the swatch or detail that makes me love something. Me: Oooh that top detail in the tiles of the bathroom looks so good! Kayla, every time: I think that top detail is too much, I would prefer this swatch if it didn't have it Me: how do you do this _every time_

Its so cute! A little tip for you: when placing things on the top shelf of a desk or a shelf that don't slot, you can use the box shelf from Dream Home Decorator and it's a lot easier to place clutter. Love ur vids Simsie!
