i built an entire sims apartment building... let's decorate 

what we've learned is that Kayla likes the colours blue, yellow, and pink but hates the colours red and orange. yet to determine her opinion on green and purple

The apartment gives off the vibe that the sims move a lot and are carrying pieces of furniture with them from every home they’ve lived in.

I have 4 kids and was a preschool teacher for 20 years. Mirror is awesome for toddlers. Also, nothing wrong with hanging plants as long as they are secured well :)

kayla is really branching out lately and doing videos with a lot of packs and it always turns out sooo good when she's not limited!!

hope the sims make some apartment tool. I'm wondering it would look similarly as an select tool. In build mode (that one with a ♾️ symbol on it), you select the Apartment Lot Type, then, an list of the available apartments to sell would appear. 1. Apartment A 2. Apartment B 3. Apartment C ... kinda like that lol Then, in live mode, you select the apartment you wanna buy, paying just the apartment price, not the whole building.

i love the “basing my house based on one item” thing, i have an airb&b with my family based on one fireplace decoration and it was so much fun to piece together! btw i love you simsie!

I think it does look a little “weird” when you look at the apartment overall but I agree it’s very realistic! I have like 3 different wood tones in my living room right now. Also growing up my sister and I had rooms with completely different themes 😅 I bet it would have looked really weird from an aerial view like this

Petition for Baby's heirhouse to be a apartment building and her siblings and their family's living in different apartments in that house. So we can still get some Brice and Barb shenanigans plz! I mean you already have 24 Sims mod activated so it would not impede in Baby's ability to have a big family of her own. A fancy pink apartment would fit her whole influencer vibe as well!

Actually, there is a substyle thst this apartment would belong to, more on the suburban side. It's called Americana. Modern shapes mixed with cloth chairs, wood, and bright colors. You nailed the style with the living space and sort of linked all the rooms together, which I love.

i’m currently also furnishing this apartment! and it’s so funny how different i did it, compared to you. i made this 2 bedroom apartment, with an office, and this kind of split bedroom, between the daughter and son, so there was princess pink on one side, and football blue on the other, it was also VERY modern. 😭

I genuinely love watching your builds and I feel like you are definitely coming out of your comfort zone to build and decorate differently. However, and I say this with love, please make a build that you like, and you don't think of anyone else. I think I only saw one or two builds or designs that way and I enjoy those videos a lot. I hope this comment finds you well and that I hope you realize that you have built so many things that you deserve to branch out and do your own thing.

I love it, the furniture gives "we have a plan but got things one at a time, so it ended up a little eclectic" vibes! I don't know anyone whose home was like, professionally decorated so everything matches. So to me this feels very realistic and I like it a lot

I've been binge watching this guy who does Feng Shuei furniture arrangements and I think you should check him out. It would be cool to do a Feng Shuei styled home.

As much as i love your content and your videos are literally my comfort videos and rewatch them every day, i feel bad that you had to make multiple videos per day to have a couple of days off for the new year. as a person who has a literal full 9-5 job i can’t believe you upload and stream daily. You don’t have to upload every day if you dont want to, or you can take a bit off. Remember mental health is the most important thing ever and we love you and we want you to be healthy.

I think the color scheme worked, and the mismatched wood gave it more of a single parent vibe, or just starting out couple, people who have picked up some furniture here and there at a garage sale. The bold colors and patterns really helped unify it all and make it feel lived in.

I really love how making these apartments is seeing you branch into some different colour schemes!

I don't know why, but thr the fact that most of Kayla's buildings are not perfectly well decorated (like. a pristine 5 star hotel or so) gives me a so good comfort sense! They look like that real people could have been living there!😊

It would be so cool if the triplets lived out the rest of their lives in these apartments. They'd have their own separate spaces to grow their families (reasonably, of course), but they'd be able to pester each other for years to come.

I love when you try different things you don't usually do, and I think mixing red with blue was really great!! This just seems like a family that slowly aquired furniture throughout the years. Like maybe the traditional things were hand me downs from family when the parents first moved out and then all the modern stuff are the things they got as they worked hard to make their own home. Idk it just feels super nice and realistic because most people dont just up and throw away old furniture to match a theme so they keep it. I really love this build ngl 😊

I love playing in these pretend apartament lots, if you fill the rest of the houses with roommates you can get a realistic enough neighbours experience. And if instead of just using the in game roomate option you get a more detailed mod you can select any townie you want as a roommate so you can move entire families into the apartaments for extra accuracy

Was thinking about how the elevators are broken in the Big Bang Theory. I feel like because of that, that building would be a great candidate for a Sims Building.

I loved furnishing these apartments, they were so fun (I realistically didn’t move the kitchen bathroom etc) and I had a pink crafting themed apartments in one of the smaller ones, it was so cute!

I love the idea of a let’s play series using this apartment lot and a household of sims living in each one

I love playing in apartment buildings I make, and the way I do it is one of two ways: 1. Roommates. Then lock doors so they only stay in their "unit" 2. Generations. Grandparent(s) in one unit, parents in one unit, and young adults in one unit. Like a multi-generational home but everyone gets a full home lol

Im working on furnishing this apartment for my own legacy and I ended up splitting the second floor of apartments into two units, and I'm really enjoying it, also seeing how you furnish the spaces is really fun too!

This is right up my alley. I love a bright space with bold colors. It still feels very family friendly!

I love this apartment building. It's probably near unplayable but I might download it to add a bunch of side characters/ NPCs. You can use the door locking function to make sure each Sim stats in their own apartment. That way a bunch of your storyline sims are taking up less individual lots but can still have a visitable home.

Simsie should do a chaotic let’s play with this whole complex. Put on the mod that allows more than 8 sims and try to live with all of them! Wouldn’t have to worry about bills bc there would be so many people working!

I would have moved the toddler's room and the bathroom to the kitchen and entry area, to have a bigger/open kitchen dining in the middle, but this was very fun to watch. a very eclectic/artsy/free-spirited parent and their kids... the older of which might be a little tired of all the nonstop color so their room is a little more sedated lol

With roommates and strategically locked doors, you could make it work like an apartment!

Red white and blue could also be a France house. Or a Netherlands house. Or Croatia, Slovakia, Russia, any of the like 10 countries that has a red white and blue flag

I made an apartment complex in the sims and actually playing it with a bunch of sims is really stressful. Everyone kept going into the wrong apartments and using someone else’s computer even though I locked the doors
