You should look at some of the old Counter Strike maps that's where similar to this. You could make a whole playlist of tiny maps, this "Toys Story Map" be the corner stone map! I`m looking into making a rocket hog mode when I get my hands on forge. I have so many questions?
I really REALLY appreciated all the input you have taken and added to This map as you’ve gone. I squealed like a pig when I saw the dominos and house of cards.
I don't care what anyone else makes for the next 10 years, this will remain in the top five maps for sure. I'd love to play Infection or BTB on this map. Also I'd love to see a slightly altered version of this map for the custom gamemode Jenga

@@coffin7904 their comment is probably referring to how many individual objects were used to create this map. having thousands of entities on a map will lag out many games, if there isn't a max capacity in place.

I love the idea of Andy just getting big into Halo and buying a bunch of spartan toys that all fight each other when he's gone. If you don't already know what's going to be there, maybe put an OG Xbox under bed? Or Buzzes cardboard "spaceship" ontop of the bed for red team?
I’m not even a big Halo fan, but this is the best map I’ve seen across any game in the entirety of my 2 decades playing video games. The level design, the interactibility, the thought that’s gone into every detail is staggering. I don’t know if this is your day job as well, but it should be.
Dude, you just single handedly reignited my passion for the halo franchise. After split screen got scrapped and the next season got delayed again, after no new weapons in 6 months and two maps and the absolute minimum of game modes, i gotta say i was giving up hope. I did give up hope in fact. But after seeing this, a new fire has been ignited inside my heart for forge. Dude, make a patreon or something, if you plan on constantly blowing it out the park with maps like this.

Yeah it sucks that the gaming industry is the way it is today but it’s not the consumers fault all gaming is, is entertainment you can’t get mad at the consumer for being entertained by something and having fun with it even if it’s not at its full potential or exactly how you want it to be. the point is gaming is very dry at the moment so we are gonna take what we can get and forge is pretty damn good looking and can alone push halo back to what it’s supposed to be but ya gaming shouldn’t be taken this seriously ya the companies that are making these moves are ruining these games with their greedy tactics and they should get push back by the community but the people who are just treating this hobby like what it is a hobby and are just having fun and getting excited about things like forge aren’t what’s wrong with the industry at all like it’s a fucking game they’re adding something awesome and fun so people are gonna play it. you make it sound like you wanna boycott halo or some shit but at the end of the day it’s just a game and there’s a lot of fun things about it and people are gonna wanna play it, if anything tho that’s a good thing it shows them what the community actually wants while the rest will still complain about what they don’t like which will show them what needs to be changed. forge is a very good thing for halo and of course it’s going to bring people back, that shouldn’t be a surprise we are getting one of the biggest things we’ve been asking for so of course people are gonna get back into halo because of it.

I'm currently working on a map with a similar theme (shrunken player) but with a twist and way more detail! I may rebuild this map in the future but right now it'd be mind numbing rather than cathartic and I'm afraid it'd burn me out on forging. Unlike building a project that's new to me :) It releases early December, and though it's not toy story, it's an even cooler theme imo and an even better halo map
Sadly copyright will scupper that. Well unless a) they somehow get permission from Disney. b) they make tweeks to the map to make it no longer so specifically Toy Story.
Slinky would have to and the clouds on the wall would have to go as well and the Pixar Balkan the iconic toy box this my favorite map of all time but if halo we'll have this on their matchmaking they would need to come to terms with Disney
I’d love to see you create a Monsters Inc. themed map as well with doors leading you to different worlds. The attention to detail here is just unbelievable and I want to see more Pixar recreations.
I built this above Behemoth because we don't have flat worlds yet, so unfortunately there's an invisible ceiling stopping that from happening. I could do the same with the floorboards though, considering each plank of the floor is an individual object!
I kid you not. This video alone. Restores all of Halo Infinite’s hope to me. I literally unplugged my Xbox when Halo was falling and falling…but to see this. Truly makes my heart excited for Forge. I don't know anything about how Halo Forge works but that looks really good! I remember playing the Toy Story game on PS1 and it looks just like I remember Andy's room in the first level.
This is the first I'm hearing of Forge coming to Infinite. This addition just pushed Infinite to a whole different tier of game. It's now a sandbox with infinite potential. This will be fun for at least a decade.
Halo is my favorite game series and Toy story is my favorite movie series (yes I’m 26 and have seen almost every toy story in theaters.) The amount of nostalgia that hit me watching this was unreal. Fantastic work dude. I can’t wait to play it.
Dude, this video alone might get me back into playing Halo Infinite. I completed the lackluster campaign months ago after giving up on the boring multiplayer, but this entire map is impressive in every sense of the word. Massive, interactive, REMINISCENT OF EXACTLY WHY MULTIPLAYER SHOOTERS WERE SO POPULAR IN THE EARLY 2000's, and nostalgic to boot! Very fine job, sir.
I'm floored with the effort you put into this map! I love it, but when you showed the outdoor regions, i immediately thought that you're not stopping at just Andy's room and you're doing Andy's entire house. 🤯

It's already #1 on downloads I can see it. Truly amazing work. The fact that 343 can't even pump out really good looking natural maps and are now releasing 2 forge maps over 6 months after release makes me sad.
This map is easily the best custom map I’ve seen in ALL video games, incredible work, stunning, well thought out, well made, practical, expansive, faithful recreation of Andy’s room.
Holy shit, these Forge tools are absolutely incredible. I mean, this is fantastic work and obviously you deserve a ton of praise, but I am dumbfounded that this is even possible. As someone who has lost interest in Infinite and stopped playing a while back, things like this are definitely going to bring me back.

Ok now this is next level stuff… from a to z, everything has been thought through.. not only it looks AMAZING but it looks really fun to actually play on this map. I hope this map will get the attention it deserves when forge goes live
You should also add a script where you can cut the toy planes string allowing it to fall to the ground but only if it has been cut with an energy sword by the player who is at the toy plane already. Meaning you’d have to climb up to the toy plane and physically walk up to the string and cut it with an energy sword.
Incredible attention to detail, Toy Story lore, and I especially like that you took the time to design the space as a functional competitive map instead of just a static art piece (which it also is, and an amazing one at that). I think Forge in the hands of the fans could be the thing that "saves" Infinite, if this project is any indication of potential. Can't wait to see what comes next!
I don't play Halo Infinite but this brings me back to my childhood when I would play "De_rat" in Counter Strike Source. I loved those maps. Beautiful design and choice on Toy Story. Nostalgia Inception CSS and Toy Story. Can't wait to see more of your future work. :D
Most dedicated build I've seen! I keep showing it to people and enjoying their reaction when I tell them it's Forge. I can almost hear it now, entire custom discord channels singing the Toy Story theme while loading in XD
Halo Infinite Forge has basically reached final form. It's what we always dreamed of 15 years ago when Halo 3 Forge came out. I thought H5 was a massive jump but the one thing that was lacking was the aesthetics of the maps. They just looked very blocky and "forge" like... with Infinite, we are finally able to make near developer made quality maps & it's freaking awesome. The only criticism I have is that 343 still have to take into account the old Xbox One hardware. If this was currect gen only (Series X/S) then man... they probably could have doubled the object count from what we have now. It would have been absolutely insane. I know many people are frustrated with the game. Me personally, I can wait as I have other more important things to do with my life. What I care about is that the main game is solid (which it is), all we need now is more content (and an actual progression system, dear lord). Forge will provide that & then some. I can't wait to see what people like you will end up making. I wouldn't be surprised, due to the lack of content & community reaction, that 343 adds seperate playlist with Forge maps made by the community. It would be a great way of engaging with the fans & providing unisue, cool, whacky maps.
This is such a well made and unique map. I love the creativity, the attention to detail and the cute backstory. Really looking forward to getting my hands on Forge, and getting to try this map in the future. Well done!

Wow. Simply incredible. The scope of this creation is MASSIVE!! SO MUCH went into this from getting the ideas to finding out how to execute them in Infinite’s Forge. Not to mention the extensive detail you fit so nicely into every crum of this. I’m seriously amazed at how much effort went into this & how it turned out. Seeing you tackle this ambitious project with such enormous care - even going as far as to think of the gameplay elements of various modes (and the trick jumps? 👌) - really shows how terrific of a designer you are. "Game Night" is amazing - I was hosting a nice custom lobby on it last night and it played great. Played multiple Slayer variants and my only recommendation would be to look into modifying the spawns. Still can't wait for this Toy Story map, though, as it looks like it would be suitable for the 24-28 person lobbies, which are easier to find players for. Keep us updated!
I added ffa to game night today! I'll be expanding it to the rest of the room for big team too. Toy Story is being worked on but it's running into issues frequently and taking a while

For some under the bed inspiration, watch the Pixar short “Tinker Toy”. It was sort of the precursor to Toy Story and largely took place under the bed.
Now I'm reimagining the whole entire Toy Story series but instead of Buzz Lightyear it's Master Chief. xD But anyways you did a fantastic job on this! It honestly looks like a fun map to play on. = )
Dude, this is sick. You could potentially do more with the two planes that are hanging down, like a scripted “falling with style” sequence when you shoot the string with a power weapon or maybe a banshee spawn. Can’t wait to see more of this! Great work!
I freaking love this map, all the time and details put into it, reminds me of toy story and the Army Men: Sarge's Heroes video game’s Rex and a lot of the other toys must be in the boxes, there needs to be an alternate Andy’s room map with Rex in it
This is really insane, but I feel like my only feedback would be that the lincoln log house looks like a really important map element to serve as half-way cover progress for an advancing group, and it should be indestructible to stay useful as an actual map feature for gameplay. I think since it's so destructible, it will get destroyed in the first 20 seconds of a match and no one will really get to use it as it's designed.
This is amazing! I have 2 feedback/suggestions if you're interested. First, I love the destructible objects, like the Lincoln log house, but I noticed that its a little difficult to tell which objects are movable, and which objects are fixed in place. Maybe some textures like cracks, or an environmental object that hints at it being destructible? Second, I think having a large moving object such as a desk fan or a ceiling fan would really tie the scene together. It would probably be though to script though. Very excited for November because my friends and I are gonna be on this map a lot!
