If GW does make an official Primaris He'stan, I feel that he needs to have gravis armor with the flamer gauntlets and his spear. Would fit thematically with the new salamander rules

While Gravis armour would be cool, it wouldn't be one of the artefacts that he's looking for as the design wouldn't have existed when Vulcan was crafting them. Doesn't stop him from getting such a suit and would help to differentiate himself from Adrax Agatone visually.

I feel like the agressor armour makes him look taller and more menacing with his weapons, cuz he's meant to be the tallest primarch of em all.

The black ark corsair kit could potentially see a re-release with the old world game as they have said they will be returning old metal, resin and plastic kits to production for it. What we don't know yet is exactly what kits and when. But potentially lots of interesting old fantasy models could be available again. Of course at what price is another thing entirely.

@@WePaintMinis It is a web exclusive, so they order it from GW directly, hence zero discount on them. Quicker to go direct to a GW website or store for the box probably (assuming stores have stock).

I know you've done Ulrik and said you're planning on doing Arjac Rockfist, but I'd also love to see Primaris versions of Njal the Stormcaller and Wolf Lord Krom (and Logan Grimnar too but I can see how the Terminator guys may take awhile because we needs bits bad)

That's a lot of Space Wolves haha. I will eventually get round to them all (I hope) I need the funds to get those Terminators, then I am totally game for trying those characters out. 😊

Hi, I used the Adrax Agatone base model. Other kits i used were Black Arc Corsairs, Bladeguard Veteran, Salamander Primaris Upgrade Spure, Grey Knights Strike Squad and Stormcast Vindictors. The cloak was based with Rakarth Flesh and washed with Agrax Earthshade. I hope that helps. Thank you.

This looks excellent! I've always wanted to make a Primaris He'Stan, but the tutorials or proxies people made online were either too complex or unrecognizable from the original, or in the case of one it was literally just He'Stan's design slapped onto the Haarken Worldclaimer model. On another note, what are your ingredients for Sprue glue? I understand the basic parts (plastic cement and some cut up sprue), but what kind of plastic cement is it? Extra thin? Extra thick? I want to try this recipe out myself but I don't want to accidentally fuck it up.

Thank you, I am glad you like it. 😁 I use extra thin cement. I particularly use something called plastic magic, but any super thin cement would work.

@@WePaintMinis You are very welcome, most vids I see that do this the results are usually less than mediocre. They miss the mark in design, or they slap on a bunch of stuff that has no cohesion. I have seen people take intricate designs and just dumb them down to nothing completely loosing the heart of the project. Your design is spot on.

im not an expert so its like one salamander into another? not sure i get it, the other day i saw Logan Grimnar turned into a khorne demon and that was like a total transformation, and here i guess one space marine into another is more subtle, nice cloak

It's more of changing a Salamander model into a big Salamander character who's model is roughly 20 years old. An update for the current range of minis. What could be if GW decide to update those characters that folks love. I agree, Pete's video and conversion is amazing, this is more of a personal thing to fans who like these characters. Obviously not everyone's cup of tea, but that is fine. :)

Man I have bought 3 vulkan hestan models in finecast because they just suck and always break. I am debating trying to reproduce this but I’m terrified of wasting money and creating an abomination lol

It can be very intimidating for that very reason. I always recommend starting with head and arm swaps, then progress on to bigger projects. But also, the first step is to try. I will say that you will make mistakes, Gods know I do 😄
