Being a father myself I can really appreciate quicker projects like this. I struggle myself to find time to be creative. It was cute at the end when he came out to say hello. Cheers!
Beautiful work Sir! Power tools make the work go faster but they don't do a 'better' job. You are an Artisan and I think you can do wonderful work, no matter what the circumstances. Cheers
Just like a nutnfancy video makes me want to go out and buy every cool piece of gear on the market, skogkniv videos make me want to build things and go make fire and cook bacon in the woods. Great work, i cant wait to see what you can come up with in a indoor shop.
Really impressed with your work, Skog. Both the videos and the actual products. And I really appreciate that you're willing to share your work with the rest of us. Keep up the good work brother! --Skunkfoot
beautiful pipes man... really kool that you make those without a lathe ive been wanting to try my hand at making myself a nice wood pipe and your video really gave me a lot of insight and inspiration to start making one thank you
The Wizard pipe is awesome! I bought a nice briar in the past. Unfortunately it soon became so rank with tobacco juice and residue that it was unusable. Pipe cleaners had little to no effect.
Hi SkogKniv. Loved your videos. I've been making some pipes lately and have a question you might be able to answer. On the several pipes i made all of them have wooden stem. I used hollowed out branches of several plants as well as staves of lumber that i cut and seasoned. anything from Viburnum to Olive, Rose, Maple, walnut and so on. all my stems crack along the grain after a forthnight or so. I assure you the wood was seasoned and cured before i worked it
What music is that in the beginning ?????? What genre?? Bluegrass?? I'm from California so I don't know plz answer! LOVE THE MUSIC LIKE MUST HAVE AMAZING IMO
I love you're pipes man!!!! How much you sell them for? I love the poker with the deer antler stem!! You have got some crazy great skills man!!! You're pipes are works of art!!! Thanks for sharing yourself making them!! 😁
nice video and nice pipes. a question with which materials have made the mouthpiece of the other pipe I have problems with that. thanks for the video and forgive the English but I use google translator lol
Perhaps the translator is making it sound funny, but if you have a problem with my antler stem that's not my problem. Antler has been used in pipes for hundreds of years.
You have to make an auger of sorts out of thick wire. Then use a hand drill to bore it out. The auger follows the pith in the branch which goes right down the center.
