Wow! Great work man!! Awesome pipe! I really like the shape; the bowl size and how you went with a 4mm draw hole. ;) Very kewl. Really great build!! Thanx for sharing this with us.
Nice pipe. sober simple elegant. I love it. Do you have the main measurements please? type of wood, external diameter, diameter of the stove, depth, length of the pipe etc. I am starting out in making pipes for my pleasure with curtain rods, I have already made 3, 3 different styles, but I am stagnating. Thank you very much for your help
Step 1 - Mark the block with the pipe design. Step 2 - Ignore the markings and go to town 👍🏼 hand tools - cool - can do - saw - sand - yep - Moto-tool - ok, there it is, the metal lathe
Yes, the mouthpiece is made of the same wood. The difference is that the mouthpiece is from the outer part of the log, and the main part, the chamber, is from the central part. The tree is a bog oak, a tree that has been lying in the mud in the river bed for hundreds of years.
Nice, I was just lookin g at some very black bog oak for sections of a musical flute... may I ask what you used to do the final burnish, any product or any compound on the soft disk?
