Today we built the finished hammer sleeve for the belt system. little music, little sewing, little talking... #diy #carpentry #custom #construction #toolbelt #bluecollar #electrician #remodel #sewing #myog #tools #creative #worldclass
Very cool. Me and kydex go way back. In time you'll be seeing it used in some of my designs. Chisel sheaths most notably. I still have a drill clip i made a while back...
If you made a flat bar holster like Badger's (the one in the made to order versions) I bet a lot of people would buy it just to upgrade their diamondback. Or even something similar. 1st video but that looks good.
Currently building single bar sleeves, but yeah I'm sure people will be into it. Quick one- my system is very similar to diamondback, but I wouldn't consider them to be compatible. At the same time, could I modify mine for a custom purchase? Sure... going to make a hammer sleeve for a guy who runs occidental pouches this weekend.
Pink is that one color where you are either an absolute badass or you're an absolute wack job.... lucky for me, she's a total badass and asked for pink... Really glad people are interested in all this. Thanks.
Love the dedication and attention to detail. You’re solving a lot of issues and problems with all the top major manufacturers and companies. Happy to share feedback from my use of Oxy, DB, and Badger, if you’re looking for testers. Keep up the good work.
Instagram. clovisproject All 1 word. All lowercase. I'm interested in talking with anybody interested in talking... Hit me up, I'll hit you back.. Thank you the comment for real.
Dude, just stumbled upon your page today as I'm browsing for belts, I'm totally diggin what you've got going on man! Keep up the great work! I'm holding off on buying anything until this is released!
Bro dog... Instagram. clovisproject Let's talk. What's your trade? What do you do the most? It's going to take me a few weeks to get video of finished pouches, but pics hit over there first... What would your ideal pouches need to hold on the regular?..
I've been playing around with an outside speed square slot for a bit. Lately things are pointing more and more toward modular options. Right now I have that slot being created by hanging the front bag on a piece of scuba webbing. If left long on either side, it creates places to attach other options. Not what I was originally intending to do with all this, but I'm allowing it all to "find itself". Still need a couple more reps with it, and I'll be ready to showcase a few examples. Thanks for the interest. Feel free to add your feedback, and ideas at anytime. Crowd sourcing has been very helpful.
Mate ive tuned into your channel few times now you have came along way .bags are looking great .i think you should bring them out in a camouflage range
Yo dude! Glad you're back. Earthy color ways are where all of this is going to end up. At the moment I buy a few yards of cordura at a time. Simply having fun with it. Side note- your first comment is still one of my favorites so far... "where'd you buy them" that one felt good for real. Things will be coupled with tan. Pale green and tan Rust and tan I keep going back and forth on a darker color... black is something I've been saying I want to shy away from but at the same time it's really growing on me up against the light stitching...
Great job on showing the production of the hammer sleave. I think its going to be a winner. Might be a good idea down the road to make the sleave so you can put it on a badger and bimadback belt. currently have a badger and would definitely rip it of and put yours on, for sure.
Certain things are simply not going to be able to happen... Definitely a good thought though. I'm doing my best to develop a "system". Mine will attach the way they attach... high and on center. Give or take, of course, depending on width of the pouch. Now, one off orders could be a thing... technically I can adapt my design to work with whatever, but that's the finished build besides a possible change in "decorative" stitching to trap the foam on the section that becomes the side wall of the sleeve. Thanks for the interest though. Not downing the idea necessarily...
Just looked through comments.... you were the reason I did a vid on this. Thanks for the idea. Wasn't going to do a straight up vid on certain things, but now I feel I should. Thanks again..
Totally. The hammer sleave is going to be one of the main selling features, I can tell. You definitely nailed it. I personally own 5 different sleeves, 3 leather ones, witch are really nice but more on the heavy side and bulky, 2 fabric, dimondback and badger, witch imo their flops. Also the way you designed it to attach your pouches looks pretty slick. Good job. Also I'll have to take you up on your one off offer, (if your serious). Don't forget me, I'll be calling. Cheers
I took me a little nappy-nap and woke up to this video. Hell to the yes. That's like my Atlas 46 hammer sleeve but more secure and on steroids. Let me know when you want testers at a cost. I'll blast it all over my Instagram videos for sure!
Dude for real you guys do some seriously good looking metal work. We're supposed to be talking about that anyway. I'll reach out in the dm's. And yeah, I will never deny that the strip of webbing is from atlas... I'm simply going to take everything I think everybody is doing right and wrap it all up in a pretty little package...
@@clovisprojectdiy shit yeah. That's what Mark Martinez does with his hammers, etc..... he sold the stiletto company and started Martinez tool company and came out with a stiletto hammer that fixed all flaws in his original stiletto. It's the only way to make the best product for sure.
When you get the hammer pouch the way you want are you going to be selling them,i have had 1 or 2 in the past and was not happy. This looks a Winner great work
I'm working on the 1st setup to be sent out for testing literally right now. Shooting for spring. If you have Instagram, that's where I'm directing people to go. I won't be putting together a website for a while. Going to be taking an order at a time through dm's over there. clovisproject, all one word, all lowercase. Finished designs are starting to be tightened up now. Pics hit over there first.... thanks for the interest. I'll make announcements soon enough..
If you have Instagram, that's where I'm directing people to go. clovisproject All 1 word, all lowercase. Hoping to start selling things this coming spring. Starting SMALL, 1 order at a time... Thank you for the interest for real.
No not yet. Directing people to Instagram for things like that. I want to simply nickel and dime for a bit. 1 to 1 through dm's over there... we'll need to do PayPal or something starting in the spring... I'm starting small and keeping it that way for a while. No loan for start up, nothing. I want to just see how things go. I'm near Philly. If your a local, cash is king.
@clovisprojectdiy I'm not too far from you. I'm located in West Virginia. Originally from San Diego. Nice to see an all American pouch maker💯 keep up the nice work we will definitely keep in touch 👍
