If you make a mountain out of something like diamond blocks, then paint only the outside layer into stone, you can select the diamond blocks and delete them/replace them with air, making the terrain perfectly hollow. Then, you could use a schematic mod like Litematica to save the hollowed-out terrain as a schematic, making it much easier to replicate it in survival mode.
I use axiom constantly and it speeds up my building SO MUCH. im glad to see more people using it and this video was amazing!. also what shaders do you use?
just a little tip if you're using an nvidia graphics card, use nvidium (performance mod) cause i do believe it works with the replay mod, and it would be nice to not have those unloading and loading chunks all the time. Otherwise a very good video, i enjoyed it.
I wouldn’t say I mastered it in 1 day… but the mod is so easy to use that I made a pretty cool mountain that I had been working on for weeks… in like an hour… definitely worth the download
Can you build an avatar frontiers of pandora like jungle landscape with floating rocks and stuff next? I think that would look even better than this one
Hi, cool video! How did u get shaders to work with Axiom btw? Axiom is incompatible with optifine and becomes difficult with iris. So what's your secret? :)
@@LeonSBU Huh, that's odd that's exactly what I was doing lol I mean Minecraft loads but axiom keeps misbehaving when I have iris and sodium enabled I am in a 1.21.0 instance of Minecraft. Are you? Iris doesn't cause you any issues with axiom? like once I've done a selection or shape I can't move it at all if iris and sodium are enabled I've probably done smth wrong lol thanks either way :)
@@Akimitsu64 yep, i'm able to run axiom/sodium/iris together on 1.21! that's strange that it doesn't work for you, i hope you're able to find a fix for it
thank you! the sub count is what it is, of course i'd like to grow my audience, but in the mean time i'll be making videos regardless of how many subs i have :)
thankfully my shaders worked pretty well, the only issue i remember having is that the "selection" outline would appear as a very bright overlay over the selected blocks. a bit annoying but thankfully not bad enough to warrant toggling the shaders off. :)
how long would it have taken you to build this witouth axiom? and how long did you spend eacht day working on this project (to get an idea of how long it took)
it would've taken me much, much, much longer.....dozens of hours at least. as for each day, it varied a lot! i didn't do seven consecutive days, but some days i spent 3-4 hours on axiom, other days it was only around 30 minutes-1 hour.
The terrain tool is the one I imagine saves the most time. Imaging placing all those blocks manually while also not having the benefit of a far-out view!
We qre witnessing the rise of incredibly high-quality and low-subsriber channels and I am all for It. Dude your content is incredible you've got higher quality videos than multi-million subrcriber channels.
i am actually using iris! specifically, Axiom 1.5.1 for MC1.20.1, and Iris 1.6.10 for MC1.20.1 haven't had any issues getting them all to run together, and i hope you're able to get your client running too!
Why can't people just explain things in a normal relaxed quiet manner, instead of trying to pretend that they're entertaining a bunch of 10 year olds... ~sigh~
sometimes i am entertaining a bunch of ten year olds! :) for real though, i get what you mean, thankfully most of my videos aren't like this - but i do like to ramp up the energy a bit for these "one-off" videos
