This is by far the healthiest attitude I've even seen from a Genshin RU-vidr... This video is such a breath of fresh air right now with everyone complaining about rewards.
Yeah...the drama about anniversary rewards is so toxic. I don't play any other gacha games so clearly idk how gacha communities customs are. And I won't even play genshin if this game is just all about gacha. I'm just used to get almost nothing (at best, it's just some limited stuffs) from game developers for playing any games after years of playing and give my two cents about general players' attitude about having gambling addiction to the point that they're hugely upset for 10 pull rewards and disregarding every other things the game gave us. Too bad they don't see it's a problem. And apparently i'm mihoyo agent now somehow....
@@briannguyen6248 I wouldn't say it is completely unnecessary. Players complaining means there's something really wrong with how Mihoyo treats the players and the issue on hand, the anniversary rewards. They only have the right to demand better rewards considering how massively huge Genshin has undergone for the past year. At least what they cn do for their players, especially to those who spent large amounts of their time playing the same since release is to compensate/give duly rewards for this anniversary. Although, I understand that the complaining cn be annoying, but I have to say that it is necessary. +Personally, I'm not complaining yet until the exact anniversary date arrives. But yea, also resonate w/ the other comments here how some genshin creators just exaggerately use it for the sake of their content.
@@enesjei you speak true. I’m all about the game improving but like that one post I saw on twitter, criticism can be expressed in a positive way. A little riot is good, but not this. And yeah, I never play any other gacha games too, but then again if this is simply a gacha game I won’t be playing it anyway.
@Fine Apple why? The biggest pro about genshin it's that it is PvE. I hope genshin stay PvE for ever, because you don't NEED to have al max stat always. Other fp2 game are PvP and you find yourself on a lobby full of lvl 300 player or p2w player,so you are almost forced to reach the max stat if you don't want loose everytime. In game like genshin, it's not necessary,you can chill, don't need the 5* character or you can't proceed with the main quest,even on the event they make,the easy/basic difficult give you the primo. Just enjoy the game :)
I wish more players and streamers understood that. I'm so frickin tired of everyone just slandering Kokomi. And not just Kokomi but people who pulls for Kokomi. I legit saw a steamer making fun of her for 20 minutes straight. And the "cockomi" jokes are so disgusting. Anyways, my point is, thanks for being so wholesome

I pulled for Kokomi right after she was released, didn’t even play test her. I didn’t regret it, she’s such a massive carry for me. I pulled for her because she’s Kokomi, and she’s so beautiful and I loved her story quest.
Explanation for the Cutscene between Kokomi and Sara (from CatwithBlueHat): I admit this is maybe a bit too subtle. So what happen is that the two army charge but waited for someone to make the first move. Kokomi wanting to dispel the tension tried to think of a plan. She noticed two of Sara's guard was scared for some reason and she took a gamble that they are hiding something (just so happens they were contacted with the fatui). Kokomi silently provided hits to Sara to look at those two guards. Sara notice Kokomi's gaze then identifies the two guard. Kokomi then sits down which basically says that "I have done my job, now it is up to you." So she basicalyl quelled the unrest without saying a word. Also I am very certain that we will have one more or even 2 more Kokomi related quest. Her bloodline is pretty important to the world of Teyvat. If you haven't picked it up yet. Kokomi and her people are not from Teyvat. In fact the seal under her palace, I believe, is a way to leave Teyvat and into the Dark Sea.
But Enkanomiya and the Dark sea are two different places. And while the pool under the Sangonomiya shrine is a portal that leads to somewhere else, I doubt that it is the dark sea itself, since I highly doubt that Enkanomiya is the only place in the dark sea (Cuz like, the dark sea is anywhere that *isnt* teyvat, and Enkanomiya isn't the only place that isn't teyvat
@@xin0206 Yes, Enkanomiya is like nation or continent in the dark sea. The dark sea is much bigger. What I am saying that the portal most likely leads to Enkanomiya. And since Enkanomiya is in the Dark Sea, thus the portal leads to the Dark Sea. It is as of now, the only way we know of on how to get the dark sea.
Thanks for your measured and sensible approach to pulling for characters you like! I pulled for Kokomi and use her all the time now. She's such fun to play and looks so beautiful.
tbh IDC if she's overpowered or not, i will pull for that gorgeous woman either way, + she isn't even that bad she's really good with the shogun and that will be my team, WAIFU > META
Yeah I prefer kokomi over Mona for my Ganyu because of the way I set up my teams, I don’t have shields or healers and I don’t wanna change it up too much, so having a healer to replace my Mona freeze has been really great (although I’m bad at using her burst)
I pulled for kokomi when she came out and when everyone was saying she’s the worst 5star, but now she’s used in a lot of teams bc of dendro, it’s just so annoying how everyone focuses on the “meta” but it only affects the spiral abyss, kokomi is my favorite and I’ve been using her for a year now and after leveling her up I’ve never had a problem with her, I wish more of the community stopped being so annoying about whats “meta” in a single player game where you can literally play anyone in any team as long as everything is leveled up, I’ve had way more fun using kokomi then characters like Yae Miko, Raiden, or Xiao who are considered “meta” / really good
Think of her like a super Barbara and you won't be disappointed. Constant hydro application, can run across water when her ultimate is active (it's rather amusing), strong AoE healing that pulses faster, more often and with higher numbers than Barbara (the downside being a modest radius). Honestly, she's not as bad as people pretend she is -- she's just a healer in a game where heals are secondary. Don't worry about what other people think and have fun with her, because I know I am.

Ik that Kokomi’s not the best character gameplay-wise and personally, I am skipping her bc of that and also bc I’m saving up for reruns, but it’s very annoying that ppl are bothering the ppl who r pulling for Kokomi. If some ppl wanna play as a pretty fish woman in an anime game, how does that affect you? Lol
people don't understand how powerful kokomi is, she is by far the best hydro enabler for freeze teams and she heals on top of all of that, plus she's very beautiful
Finally someone shows my Kokomi some love... you should easily get that guaranteed pull within the banner time - she's very shy until you empty your bank account.
Well I think her kit was given plenty of love. It’s just different and not a lot of people like it, but it doesn’t mean it wasn’t given love. There’s a ton of time, effort, and money was spent designing and testing and giving life to each and every one of the characters we see.

I had the same luck as you with my Kokomi pulls. Got a C1 Diluc at near pity and Kokomi arrived at near pity too. Honestly, she's not as weak as most people make her out to be and if you focus on her heals, that is, going all in on HP stats and healing bonus, you also increase her damage which is good.

I think them not wanting the war to end is similar to how we feel when we invest soooo much time into something. They’ve lost their friends, changed their lifestyle, and trained to be warriors. Now how can you expect them to give all that up and be practically farmers and fisherman again? It’s like how can you abandon all the followers, connections, RU-vid channel, and twitch partnership to go live in the mountains away from practically everyone? Obviously it’s easier to step away from this but it’s parallel to how army men feel when they leave war to give some perspective.

I pulled kokomi because I absolutely cannot stand Barbara lol and I’m sick of qiqi being on every single team 😫😫😫 I love her character though and her elemental has a lot of utility for my team comps, so it was really a no brainer for me 😅 and her mermaid-esque attack animations are so freaking gorgeous and smooth 🤯🤯🤯
mona is amazing! you should definitely build her, she's so fun to play with ganyu! sorry you couldn't get kokomi :p I lost my kokomi 50/50 to keqing but i did want keqing so- thank you so much for cherishing kokomi and not hating on her like basically everyone else :)
She is a great support. I wish I wasn't broke that time. Ran out ot primos attempting engulfing lightning and I didnt even got it. She would be very good with my Ayaka.

You do still have a pretty good chance of pulling her from the 10 Intertwined Fates that they are giving out for the Anniversary :) That, and they are refreshing the shop in a week or so.
I'm F2P and skipped Xiao, Hu Tao, and Venti (the hardcore meta characters) for Childe. I skipped Eula and Klee for Kazuha when he was bashed for being a "budget Sucrose" before and during his banner. Now that I get 36 stars in abyss using characters I genuinely love and enjoy playing, I realized that I made the right calls to pull for who I liked and not for meta. Like you said, there's no PVP content in the game and you could just not pull for characters at all and still get through content just fine.
I'd argue she would've been LESS popular. Meta-slaves would've hard-passed two characters (Yoimiya and Kokomi) after and just saved for Raiden even harder. Praise the people who pull for who they like, even if the character isn't considered strong.
Great! At first i was worried when I got Kokomi today, i was like “Wait a darn sec, I won the 50/50- if i wish on dps banner which is both childe and hu tao, im not gonna get them! And now im stuck with a main healer!” But right after i pulled AGAIN on the same banner and got Jean (for the first time because yes, im pretty new to genshin impact) so im not very worried, and kokomi’s elemental burst scales up her attack damage a little lol
I really want Kokomi but I lost my 50/50 to Mona. I’m still going to try to get her of course because I prefarmed for her which I literally never do 😭 I’ve only prefarmed for Kazuha before because he was a character I really wanted just like Kokomi. I’m hoping I get her early
True, like right now I have 4 dps, and I realized the worth of their dps power can only be used in the abyss. And I can't put them all in my abyss lineup cause I need supports for reactions. Right now, I only pull for who stole my heart.
@SarahKey If you love Kokomi that much, pull for her until you get her. If you don't, you'll regret it because who knows when she'll come back since she's a Limited Banner Five Star. Also, Single Pulls are more efficient than 10-Pulls because you may get what you want in three pulls so you'd be saving yourself seven wishes if you single pull.
Same the community wasn't being fair to poor Kokomi but spirit of Genshin pull who you like. No one should be judged for the characters you like. I've faced issues being a Zhongli main on his first release. Cause you know but I'm glad to find another who thinks the same about characters as I do
