I still havent put a single dime to the game n got a lot kf characters n im loving n enjoying actually playing the game lol!
Many players missed what she's experiencing in this vid, actually having fun with the game. We all are so into getting nice characters, rerolling, skipping stories, i love how she enjoys the game. If you think about it, the cut scenes , the stories are really nice. We are bombarded by tier lists, this and that , that sucked the fun out of it.

Mihoyo does some crazy good story. I enjoyed what was in Genshin enough to go back and try out Honkai Impact 3rd, and was blown away by just how amazing the story in the game is. And, according to them, they've got something like 3 years of story left to go, despite the game already having 20 chapters and having been constantly updated for the past 3~ years. I'm stoked for Genshin's story, needless to say.
bro i've never played a gacha game before and i didn't understand how people could spend money on stuff like this until i played. i have been forced to fight off the urge to spend my savings it's insane.
It's even worse if the person is new to Gacha. It is really addictive to see those characters come in, and that disconnect between money and primocurrency catches people off guard.
0:55 Tip for this game: Never wish on the standard banner because you could get a 5 star weapon instead of a 5 star character and basically waste almost 90 wishes! Always go for the character event wish to get a guaranteed 5 star character at least once every 90 wishes!
5* weapons are very powerful, keep in mind. Wolf's greatsword can carry a party. Whereas a lot of the best characters are actually 4*. The fastest Floor 13 abyss was done almost completely 4*'s. Buuuuut. If all you want is unlocking all characters for completionism. Go ahead. I personally didn't care for venti. And the chances of you pulling Venti as your 5* on that banner was really high, when you could have pulled someone like qiqi or deluc instead on reg banner.
Alondor however when you check the banners right now you will find Vendi doesn’t exist in none of these 3 current banners...which means you cannot get Vendi at least until patch 1.1 on 11th Nov if u missed Vendi up banner......which is a bit ridiculous......
yes, but it's a pain to roll on the venti banner for me when i already have a venti. Normally i always don't get the rate up characters in gacha games, but i only ever got the rate ups in genshin OTL
@@sapenoschu5526 Don't worry. I got Venti. I was actually doingthe Venti banner myself. Mostly for more fiscl and xiangling, since they are part of my core team. But I was giving an example as to why the reg banner isn't really completely useless. It's still going to be a matter of what you want.
Ikr I have Chongyun and Kaeya and both are unstoppable, Kaeya is very fast and if you have the correct accessories he's hella strong, even if they're not max, same with Chongyun, my main team is Chongyun, Kaeya, Razor and Barbara, and they kick ass left and right xD, I have other good characters like main character, Venti, Mona, Sucrose, and Diluc (I'm f2p btw) but my dream team is team Ice ❄️🍦❤️
Your first Genshin Impact video was PERFECTION. So many videos tried to review it by comparison to normally one other game, which it is obvious there's multiple influences from other JRPGs and general anime. Watched the entire video and was never once spoiled on story or big surprises. It was a perfectly done edited Lets Play and reaction, even first impressions, that showed off what the game actually is and what it would be like to play. It was perfect. And of course, your commentary and positive and funny personality separates you from all the rest. I hope you do more just like it (perhaps a series!) for other games to help us all decide if it's a game we would want to play where typical reviews/first impressions don't show enough of what to fully expect, and normal Lets Plays can potentially spoil some of the fun. Great job! Hope you do more just like it.

@@dan290786 no no, but gameplay slows down alot and basic things like mora (gold) and upgrade materials get "expensive", meaning that just for one upgrade you require lots of them. I have de battle pass and honestly I still struggle with mora...
Fischl is 4* but really strong. And Qiqi is one of the few, very powerful healers in the game. I was hoping you'd get Beidou, she's my favourite character. I haven't spent money on this game but I managed to get Mona from free pulls, which is nice.
you should only role on the event banner; the diluc one is just the standard banner and also have 5* weapons lowering your chances for Diluc. The even banner only has 5* characters its just the 5* on it has a rate up
*It doesn't lower your chances, that's just false information, in some ways it actually raises it to roll on normal banner.* It's 1.6% chance for a 5 star on both banners, event banner has 50% chance Venti while normal banner has 50% weapons. The rates for non-banner 5 star characters is the EXACT SAME on both. To add to that, since Sarah got Qiqi this time on event banner (non-banner 5 star), it's IMPOSSIBLE for her to get Diluc on the event banner now because pity will guarantee that she gets a Venti within the next 90 pulls, or sooner if she hits the next 5 star. On the normal banner, however, this doesn't happen. That said, if you want Venti OR non-banner, it's best to roll on the event banner. If you're aiming SPECIFICALLY for a non-banner, after rolling a 5 star on event, you HAVE to go to the normal banner or else you have 0% chance of getting what you want.
try Qiqi and Razor. Razor is a strong DPS(mainly physical damage), and ice & lightning reaction reduce defense of enemies. meanwhile, Qiqi can heal Razor, they're good partners. you may add a water character to freeze enemies, or 2 fire characters to get the buff. Anyway, Qiqi is cute!
I also thought the gliding tests were rather challenging. That first test took me many tries and I also wasn't exactly sure where I was gliding, too, at first.
I'm a month late but I LOVE this series and I really want to see you keep playing this wonderful game. It's reallyyyy hard to find good youtubers playing Genshin Impact like a normal game and not a hardcore min-maxing whale simulator. Please keep uploading!

I never spend money on gacha games (like NEVER) but since this game is free I don't mind spending at least $60 (maybe $90) on it because it's that beautiful and amazing. They did a superb job with the world building. And the manga *chef's kiss*. This game deserves all it's love!
I've played many gacha games, and finally get self-control against the gacha hell after wasting a lot of money. Although I'm still a big fan of Genshin, I truly advise you don't spend money if you are not rich. It's so easy to get addicted to gambling.
I got Qiqi as well. I started off with just all 4 starts for a long while but she is my first 5 star. Every character is good in their own right, just make sure you level good weapons and artifacts though. My main team is still my team of four starts but I change it up when playing with my boyfriend 🤓
Qiqi is great, that Fischl is epic, every team needs an archer, with C2 which doubles her shots she's like a machine gun and her bird is a stationary turret
GREAT VIDEO, LIKE IT!! You can press attack button on air to fall down with much lesser damage than usual, it need stamina but not as much as gliding =D
Protip: Qiqi is a great healer. Her E continuously attacks and heals enemies with a side effect that makes her heal all party members once she attacks. Her Q marks enemies with the Talisman that heals any ally that attacks enemies with that mark. This allows her to be the greatest support-type character on and off the field. Her healing scales with her attack power. Fischl is an almighty power bomber that turns into a machine-gun once she rapid attacks. That's all you need to know. Oh yeah, and her E summons a bird that yeets lightning bolts at enemies. Her Q turns her into the bird herself. The bird's name is Oz, her travelling companion who she can summon at will.
