It's not "very" easy, I moved from Sweden to Greece and Greece can be a lil brutal for people who are complete foreigners to the land. It's worth the trouble though.

@Cosmo J. I'm not implying it's the worst on the planet or anything but compared to say Germany, Sweden or the US it's definitely much harder. In Athens or Skg you might get lucky but outside it's a menace. If you have nobody at all in the country to sorta help you figure stuff you'll have a very hard time navigating around the bureaucracy. As a person who travels a lot every year I'll tell you that Greek bureaucracy is really good just terrible to go in blind. For example, let's say you need to get sth done in Sweden. First you'll have to get a booking multiple months in advance, you'll get there knowing exactly what you need and everyone will be polite about it. The first person you encounter will send you over to another, then another, then another, then another then you'll be given 2 options, you've already been to the first so you go to the other and that guy gives you 3 all of which you've been to already so you have to go back and start cross-examining. You'll be told what you need but everyone will delegate you so it's incredibly time consuming. All in all, it'll take 3 months to get a license to chew gum because while polite, nobody wants to service you. In Greece, you'll drop in whenever, preferably early in the morning. Nothing whatsoever is in English, all the signs to guide you are in Greek and so are the papers and forms all around you. Half the people there are drinking iced coffee and are talking loudly with each other, could not care less that you're there. You walk up to the counter, they're needlessly rude and unless you know E X A C T L Y what you're after you're gonna meet some resistance where they'll pretty much refuse to service you and generally imply that you're an idiot that has no idea what they're after, spoiler alert: You are because nobody told you and that's your fault obviously. If you're going in blind, it's brutal. You need some help to navigate through Greek bureaucracy, someone who can tell you which papers you need and for what so that you can have minimal interraction with the Greek public sector. All in all, you're either done in 30 minutes of stress and pointless contest or you give up along the way. Oh yeah, it also takes a thousand years to get a Greek citizenship. If you weren't born with the citizenship then you have to have lived in Greece since the Minoan civilization to get one.

@Cosmo J. Nah I've figured out everything at this point and to be fair I did have people in Greece to help me out with some struggles. Now I'm the one repeatedly suggesting to people I meet throughout the world that moving to Greece is a phenomenal move (I also recommend in the same breathe Italy and Spain tho). My sole point is that moving to Greece isn't "very easy" as the original comment said even if it's incredibly worth it. Also, there's zero avoiding rudeness in Greece's public sector brother, Crete's Chania and Herakleion, Katerini, Thessaloniki, Athens and Larissa have all been absolutely full of rude people. Which is absolutely mad to me because in the same exact places I can't take 5 steps without seeing sth incredibly wholesome I'd never see in Sweden. In Thessaloniki I've been repeatedly stopped on the street just to be complimented on like, my hair for example or offered an extra treat of whatever I'm eating for zero reason. On Crete I'm never not offered additional plates no matter which restaurant I visit and generally the world is far more pleasant... except for the public sector, sth about it just messes with Greek minds.
